I recently shot with Chris at a local studio to do the second part of a planned themed shoot. I've worked with Chris many times and always found it super chill yet professional. He worked attentively to get the correct lighting and angles for the shots we were looking for and constantly reviewed throughout, so we had a good idea of where the images were heading.

He's always very organised and thoughtful throughout any shoot and definitely works hard to produce some fab images... I'd definitely recommend working with him and look forward to the final results of this shoot. Thanks again! 😊

I shot with Chris recently at a location in Manchester.... One he researched and booked in preparation for a shoot we'd had in mind for a while. The location he found (Antwerp Mansion) was a fantastic choice and as usual he was extremely punctual, organised and relaxed through out the whole day. This was a longer shoot than usual and required a little more prep and travelling but I genuinely found this a breeze with him organising everything very well.

Even though the shoot took a lil more effort and organising it was still very chill, which made the day easy and fun!. He also sourced a fab make up artist Courtney (Artistry By Courtney) and planned everything prior in terms of look. While I got ready he set everything up and had a clear vision of what he wanted lighting, angel and look wise for each set of images. This made things alot easier for me as the communication was spot on.

I've worked with Chris on a variety of projects throughout the years I've been modelling and can honestly say I'd always recommend him, as I've never been disappointed with the day or the outcome of images! Thank you & I look forward to seeing all the edits! (:

Chris contacted me about working with him on ‘a slightly supernatural’ themed photoshoot at Antwerp mansion in Manchester.

Chris was very clear with the vision he was going for with the shoot which made my job as a makeup artist very easy as I could plan out what we were going to do in advance. The communication was great throughout and chris had every detail preplaned!

My train was cancelled due to strikes so the time of the shoot was delayed and Chris was very understanding of the matter and made me feel at ease.

Upon arriving Chris was very friendly and well organised, he even had drinks and snacks!

Chris is a fantastic photographer and captured some beautiful images, and I can’t wait to see the final results.

I would love to work with Chris again in the future as he is professional, kind, organised and a brilliant photographer.

Fantastic first shoot with Chris yesterday.

Went great - pre shoot communication was perfect, had a clear idea of what he wanted to capture. And it was a great studio too!

Felt super comfortable and relaxed throughout our shoot, also seeing the shots were we getting as we went along, which is always super helpful! :)

Would highly highly recommend to any model, and would definitely shoot with again!

I've worked alongside Chris many times for a variety of projects and can honestly say it's always a nice experience. The atmosphere while shooting with Chris is relaxed and calm and there's never any outstanding pressure, as we work together to get the look we were hoping for. Chris is always very punctual and organised on the build up to the shoot and during, as well as great communication throughout.

I'd always recommend working with Chris whether you're new to shooting or have experience, as it's always a fab experience and the results are never disappointing! (:

Had a lovely shoot with Chris on Monday!

Pre comms was flawless. Having both of us know exactly what was happening within a handful of messages.

The shoot itself was such a relaxed atmosphere, Chris is very attentive to making sure the shoot is fun, chilled “and not like work” which I just loved. The whole pace of the day was chilled and non stressful! Which made him so easy to work with and share ideas, To create truly awesome images (I hope) I can't wait to see them! But I'm sure they turned out just as epic as I can vision!

Highly recommend Chris to any model and would absolutely love to work with him again in the future.

I love working with Chris! This was my second shoot very far apart but we still got on so we’ll! He’s such a lovely kind guy! We had a good laugh shooting communication before the shoot was great! The pictures iv seen on the day looked fabulous I will definitely recommend working with chris ! Hopefully we won’t leave it so long next time thanks for a great shoot :)

I had a wonderful shoot with Chris while I was on tour in Preston. We worked on a range of fashion images- Chris has some awesome ideas, and pre-shoot comms were excellent with all details discussed and planned. Chris is a good communicator which made the process of putting together outfits and makeup looks really easy, as well as achieving the best out of each set on the day.

Chris is professional, polite, and nice to chat with! A great photographer and he's very easy going which made the shoot go smoothly and the time enjoyable. The apartment we shot in ended up being smaller than anticipated, however Chris was very understanding and willing to improvise by utilising the space, successfully capturing some amazing dynamic full length fashion shots! I'm really impressed with the images he captured! Chris worked with new lighting equipment, he was patient and skilled in delivering the best quality from each capture.

I'd definitely love to work with Chris again, and I'd highly recommend working with him. Thank you Chris for a great shoot! :)

I had yet another fab shoot with Chris... this time in the studio. We both hadn't shot for a while, so felt a little rusty but as usual it was fun and casual, so those feelings passed pretty quickly.

I'd always recommend shooting with chris new or experienced, as he always very considerate, prepared and friendly, which makes shooting a breeze! I look forward to the future creative ideas and shoots to come! (:

He gave me a brief of the ideas he'd like to achieve and we agreed a date for our shoot to take place. He gave me to freedom to experiment to produce images I hope he is happy with, I felt we got something cool out of the experience

I've worked with Chris many times and never been disappointed. We recently caught up at a studio shoot locally, as we both were a little out of practice after having a break from shooting.

I've always felt very comfortable and relaxed while shooting with Chris and we also have a good laugh!. The down to earth atmosphere makes it extremely easy to discuss ideas and try out new creative projects without fear.

Chris always remains professional and is keen to listen to any thoughts or ideas you have during the shoot. After a shoot he's very quick to sort though the images and let's you help choose which ones are the best of the bunch!

This is just one of a few shoots we have planned soon and I look forward to working with him on the rest!. I'd definitely recommend Chris for inexperienced or experienced models as he's a breeze to work with! (:.

What a lovely guy!

I had my first shoot with Chris on Sunday at Big Mill Studios.

He was great, right from the start. Pre comms chats were detailed and always quickly responded too.

The shoot was relaxed and easy-breezy, Chris was chilled out and never wanted to rush or hurry things along. He was always happy for me to take as much time as I needed, to do my makeup, change outfits. Or just have a quick five-minute break.

I would highly recommend Chris to any other model that's looking for a stress-free and fun shoot!

It was so good to shoot with Chris again after his break. He was one of the very first photographers I shot with. He still is very skilled. I am impressed by the images on the back of the camera. I like how we keep communicating and ensure we are comfortable throughout the shoot.

Chris was absolutely lovely to work with. He is very precise with angles and lighting and worked towards his desired outcome brilliantly.

I felt extremely comfortable working with him, he's really easy to get along with. The images we worked on together where 90's themed and some Gothic; at the end all images turned out exactly how both of us wanted them to! One of my favourite shoots i've done so far and what a brilliant photographer and lovely person he was :)

I love working with Chris, our shoots have been indoors and outdoors over the years... But one thing is absolutely certain: they are always rammed with creativity, funky styling and an all-round positively driven vibe. :) Sometimes it could have been a fair while in-between working together/getting the chance to shoot but when we do, it is a blast in so many ways. I could go an and on about the hundred-million reasons why I recommend Chris; but I'll just end up looking like this strange rambling person on his page so I'll keep it as short as I can...

First of all: when we're planning a shoot/chatting about setting one up, it's the most easy and straight-to-it set of communications ever! A few messages exchanged and it's sorted: date-agreed, place-confirmed, duration-set and all the finer details. We pay ping the odd idea back and forth after that as inspiration comes to mind... But literally: Chris is the star photographer at getting things organised. :)

Secondly: he is just simply the most lovely and courteous gentleman you could meet/work with in this industry. He is so down to earth and easy going, there is never a pressure to rush on the shoots we have and he will cover all areas of model comfort whether the shoot is in a studio or location: This time around he booked a beach hut especially so that we had a base on the seafront! Literally just so that we could just comfortably get organised in-between sets/change outfits and adjust the makeup accordingly in a comfortable/clean environment rather than use it to shoot. He puts a massive degree of thought into making sure models are not having to struggle on a shoot, it was particularly handy having the hut to store all of our things too: I traditionally bring heavy suitcases, especially where we were covering creative fashion so I cannot stress how big a god-send it was! And Chris literally put all of this into place for us without even thinking. He's a true professional in every sense of his approach to shooting models, I have never felt anything that 1000% at ease working with Chris and can confidently say that he's a great person for any model to work with: whether new or experienced. Furthermore, the shoots we have had over the years have been really fun and enjoyable due to Chris being literally the easiest person to strike a positive rapport with. We'll have a laugh during catch up as we work and chatter about all sorts - it makes the day that little bit brighter for sure, whether the sun decides to pay a visit or not! :)

Did I mention that Chris is also a very awesome photographer too? Well consider it said: probably for the umpteeth time actually if you look back at my other references. :) I mean he is just a total technical genius in the studio, but he rocks it on location as well when faced with the weather and the light playing the "let's change every 2 seconds because we can" game! We got some divine shots once again - and again, different to the work we've previously produced which is always good fun to explore. :D Chris handled the challenges we faced so smoothly - including the strange (possibly intoxicated) gentleman that stopped for a few minutes to give his vague and muffled feedback. Gosh isn't every shoot just an adventure after all! :D But yes - the images looked stunning on the back of the camera, and doubly stunning when Chris kindly sent me a link to the edits too!

I always look forward to working with Chris again. It goes very much without saying!

I had yet another fab shoot with Chris recently. He contacted me about a great location which worked well and looked lovely as background scenery.

I always enjoy shooting with Chris as it's really chilled and easy to discuss upcoming shoots and ideas. Also whenever I have an idea he's more than willing to put the effort in to make it happen and the images turn out fab each time.

I haven't shot as much lately but it was a great shoot to ease me into the summer months. Chris had a clear and organised plan for the day and was punctual as always.

I'd definitely recommend Chris to any model experienced or entry level as the images you receive are lovely and shooting if fun!

Today I shot with Chris Horgan for the 1st time at Blackpool's Creative Portrait Studio.

Chris's communication with me in preparation for the shoot was nothing less than excellent! We spoke regularly and indepthly about the variety of fashions and styles that we wanted to shoot and he also sent over visual references to help inspire me with my styling!😊

In set Chris was very polite professional and considerate, ensuring I was comfortable and in good health when shooting!

They gave great direction and kept me informed of any creative or technical change. More so, we regularly reviewed and discussed the images after each set.

I would gladly shoot with Chris again most certainly would recommend them! 😊✨
