On my second visit to Basford Hurst Cottage, this time shooting with other local models I could not miss the opportunity to work with this exceptional lady. We arranged a duo session with Belle Noire and I must say I was in awe of the fluid and dramatic/ moody poses they produced for the camera.

Leanne combines a beautiful appearance with a deeply creative nature, and works with you to extract every ounce of emotion from the themes tackled. The truly magnificent backdrop of Basford Hurst Cottage is, of course, a signifcant factor in the beauty of the images acheived.

Brilliant model that she is, I think of Leanne more as a friend and look forward to the next time we can chat together. Thank you for a wonderful two days Leanne. See you soon.

This is going to be difficult and probably will outrage many here.

My enormous problem is avoidance of a certain word which is banned before, during and after a shoot with this incredibly gifted Young Lady.

Her gifts in Beauty, Posing, Finding Light, Communication are legend.

Yet there is resistance to the use of a single word that encapsulates all of these gifts and more. Punishment will descend upon the offender from a great height.

But I live on the edge, I don't care - hit me.

PERFECTION, PERFECT - but progressing Beyond that state to another as yet undefined word.

Ouch.. Recommend? Hell yeah...Ouch... :) :)

Had the pleasure of going on a fun shoot in the Peak District on Thursday with lovey Leanne again, went hoping for a glorious sunrise.

I think the lesson was you can cope with a bit of driving rain, poor light or blowing a gale, but all three together would defeat anyone.. Ive never tried to hold a softbox in position in high winds with the camera one handed before, despite this we got a few shots off and hopefully a couple will work.

Just great working with Leanne again and able to catch up about good times at Basford. There again on Monday, cant stay away. Leanne had the usual cool outfits and amazing positive attitude, wonderful model :-)

Working with Miss_c was so enjoyable. She was both professional and very easy to talk to. Miss_C is friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

Miss_C chose the outfits but checked with me if I thought they were working for the particular setting and once in the "zone" she kept posing in a natural way, needing little or no instruction. If I wanted something more specific the briefest of instruction was sufficient for her to adapt.

The communications leading up to the shoot were prompt and precise.

I would very much recommend Miss_C and I know for a fact that I will be looking to work with her again.

We had a wonderfully shoot with Leanne at her fabulous Basford cottage studio. She is a delight to work with. Full of great ideas and poses. The hose is a great location full of super props. In our 4 hour shoot we only scratched the surface of all the possible locations in the house and grounds. We cannot wait to return. Very much recomended

Another great shoot with Leanne. Friendly, polite, helpful and funny make shooting Leanne an absolute pleasure. She is professional, understands posing and works in a very fluid way. Nothing beats having fun whilst producing some great (at least for my standard) pictures.

Had a very enjoyable shoot with Miss C on my first visit to her beautiful Basford cottage studio. She is a joy to work with. Very relaxed and going through many poses with very little direction needed but also happy to follow direction.

This young lady is easily one of the best models that I have worked with (and there have been a few).

Miss_C is the epitome of what I look for in a higher end model. She is a complete professional; Her comms are meticulous; Her presentation is immaculate; She does seem to pose without any effort and will keep on doing it until you ask her to stop but she equally follows direction without hesitation.

I had organised a group shoot (3 photographers and 3 models) at Basford Hurst Cottage when one of the models had to drop out just the day before so we arranged for Leanne to step in as a replacement and as such she was on double duty on the day as both host to the group and model within the same group. She did both tasks simultaneously and seamlessly and every one agreed that it was a really pleasurable day with great images produced.

The cherry on the top is her beautiful personality that makes her so easy to chat to and work with on a location.

Hopefully by now it should be clear that I would recommend Miss_C to any photographer at any level without hesitation and definitely plan to work with her again.

Paid my second visit to Basford at the weekend to shoot with this beautiful human…..Miss_C

This was our third shoot together and as usual it did not disappoint

I was warmly greeted by Leanne with a welcoming cup of tea and a catch up prior to getting down to business

We then worked our way through several different sets making the most of the wonderful natural light that Basford has to offer

Later on we moved over to the outbuilding which has its own distinct charm

It had been raining hard but we decided to risk the the last set in the adjoining woodland to get some fab art nude shots

A thoroughly enjoyable day as always….Leanne is a joh to work with and we always have a lot of laughs as we go along

Leanne poses effortlessly and makes life very easy,happy to take directions as required

As always,my highest recommendation for this beautiful versatile lady and I very much look forward to shoot number four before too long.

Had such a fabulous shoot with Leanne today, visiting a number of locations.

The whole day was fun and relaxed and we chatted away through most of the day, even while taking photos.

I am starting this gig over again after several years away from the camera and Leanne was just great to work with, throwing lots of shapes and getting stuck into all of my crazy ideas. And then throwing in a bunch of her own.

I first met Leanne earlier in the year when I had a shoot with Artemis at Basford Hurst Cottage. She was an incredibly friendly & helpful host then, and it was an easy decision to want to arrange a shoot with her in her modelling capacity. So, a few months on, I had my first shoot with Leanne yesterday at her beautiful Basford home - the result was a fantastic day and here’s hoping it turns out to be the first of many.

Pre-comms had been excellent and Leanne was as friendly as I remembered. I had a few broad pre-shoot ideas which I’d shared, but with a plan to be flexible around the light & weather. As it was, the weather was generally kind and we managed to cover the range of the themes & locations I’d had in mind – portrait, fashion, art nude, homicidal :P… indoor & outdoor.

Leanne was joy to work with throughout – easy to chat to, happy to go through poses with little direction, and helpfully adding her own creative input to my initial thoughts. It all just made for an easy flowing, fun, productive shoot.

Leanne had actually been ill during the previous week and apologised if her energy levels were down as she was still recovering – all I can say is as it was our first shoot I don’t have the ‘normal’ Leanne level to compare to, but I would never have known. She came across as enthusiastic, creative and was even game for me spraying her with fake blood. 😊

So thanks Leanne for a great shoot. Highly recommended and I will be touch about another!

I had my second shoot with Leanne, but this time at Basford Hurst Cottage instead of a studio setting. Great pre comms between us, and i had come with a number of ideas that i wanted to work with throughout the shoot including a set with a mask and boots, as well as a lovely Japanese Kimono cardigan that i had brought along with me.

I had arrived on time and was given a quick tour of the location by Leanne, we devised a plan for our shoot and worked through a number of sets including some by the windows, the bathroom, the derelict stairs and some art nude work out in the outbuilding. Although this was my first time shooting on location with a model, Leanne was happy to give me some advise about settings for ISO and F-stop which i had gladly took onboard. She even had some ideas about composing images and shooting angles to produce better quality images.

Leanne is a pleasure to work with and the creativity that we brought together was amazing in many ways. i hope to book her again whether it be at Basford or a studio very soon!!

Miss_C is a delight to work with. She took the brief , understood it and ran with it, dding her own unique interpretation and helping produce something truly remarkable... I always have fun shooting with Leanne, she's funny, serious, a clown and professional in an instant...

She is extremely adaptable, and relishes the opportunity to "act" in front of the camera, play a character and really gets into the role... Highly recommended

I had a fabulous shoot with Miss_C when she kindly stepped in at the last minute, when my originally booked model couldn’t make it due to train cancellations

What was amazing was seeing her switch from the quirky shoot she had just finished doing with another photographer, to a Marc Lagrange style black and white art nude shoot, to an androgynous suit shoot one after the other and nailing each look.

She totally got each idea I was looking to shoot and worked hard to get us images we were both delighted with - I am looking forward to se shoots so much.

I enjoyed my second shoot with Leanne last weekend. Leanne seems to have a total understanding of the hobbyist photographer and what they are looking to achieve from the shoot. She then goes full steam ahead and delivers just that. Shoots with Leanne are extremely collaborative. I will produce a shoot plan ahead of the shoot, and am always delighted to see how invested in it she is with her creative input on the day. It's lovely to see her interpretation of the brief which she always seems to absolutely nail. Last Sunday was no exception and she styled the sets beautifully. She also did a duo shoot with her pet snake Noodle. Leanne poses confidently and elegantly, and we have some wonderful images from the day. Leanne is also the face of Basford Hurst. I'm always touched by the warm and genuine welcome that she gives whenever I go there. Thank-you so much Leanne for a wonderful morning of creativity. I would would highly recommend Leanne to other photographers, studios, and models.

I had my first shoot today with Noodle. Noodle had read my shoot plan and had arranged some beautiful styling with a skin change two weeks ago! Noodle was ready when I arrived and waited patiently in his aquarium whilst I shot some other sets with his Mummy. Once we got started, Noodle just flowed from pose to pose, doing some lovely s's, although he seemed to struggle with the triangles. He particularly liked getting lost in his Mummy's hair, or attaching himself to her bangle. I cant recommend Noodle enough to other models, photographers, and studios alike! Just contact Noodle and arrange a shoot, he doesn't bite! Thank-you Noodle for an amazing shoot. The images look brilliant.

Now, I've worked with Leanne before: a brief shoot to show what we could do for a workshop last year, but we hadn't had a proper shoot together.

Today, she joined me and Joceline for a while, and we shot loads of good images quickly.

All the good things people say about Leanne are true. She's tall, blonde, athletic, and beautiful: also very good-natured, intelligent, and a natural at posing. Matched with a similarly-tall Joceline, magic happened in front of my lens.

She lives in a lovely place, and you can book her to shoot there: the total package for a great shoot. If you haven't, maybe you want to consider doing so. Soon...

I met Leanne at a previous event and after meeting her, I knew I had to do a shoot with...And what a shoot! Nothing was too much for Leanne - even some of my more quirky, offbeat ideas.

From fully clothed fashion, through to an art nude woodland set and finishing off with the maddest, silliest bath shoot!

Leanne is one of the most friendliest, welcoming models I've met to date. She's so easy to get along with and felt totally at ease in her company. She's never short of good poses, and yet takes direction well.

Leanne and Basford Hurst Cottage - it's the complete package - and cannot recommend her highly enough. A truly amazing and productive shoot - just beware of huge random tractors that appear from nowhere near her house!
