I connected with Michael during a family trip to Portugal, after being him reccomended to myself by some photographers and models I know.

Michael was welcoming and made time to discuss our ideas and answered any questions I had before shooting.

We shot twice - First time, at his beautiful villa in Querença and then at Evaristo beach. Michael is a professional, friendly man and a great photographer.

I look forward to working with him again soon! I'm very glad we managed to shoot twice, even though I was only in Portugal for the week!

I just had a 7 day break in the wonderful company and host of Michael!

Not only does his house offer many wonderful shooting opportunities but also he’s a very kind, professional and funny person to work with and be around!

He made us dinner, breakfast and lunch everyday and also asked us if we needed anything in between!

He’s been nothing but really lovely in having us here and putting up with me!

I say anyone who can put up with me for 7 days, deserves a golden medal!

I 1000000% reccomend Michael as a photographer, we got some lovely shots and also his shooting place to work at!

Thank you so much for having us! Can’t wait to plan the next one!

Just had another great long weekend shoot at Michael’s place, out in the Algarve. My model loved it there, as have all the other previous ones. The perfect host, nothing is too much trouble, loads of hot sunshine and great locations.

What a top-notch geezer. He puts up with me for 5 days, every year for the past 5 years. Great wines, a top breakfast with bratwûrst, drives me around to any of the 15 or so great local shooting locations. Even Pixel, the Studio Guard Cat is getting a mention.

Just returned from another visit with Mike and no doubt it wont be the last. Mike is a great photographer and he delivers in his images, together we make a great team. With a stunning villa ,located in a beautiful location you really acheive an all round great shooting experience.

Mike is also ab incedible cook, and makes the best food (sorry, had to say!) ...

I had such a lovely few days shooting with Michael at Portfolio Algarve for content sites - Breathtakers and Girlfolio. In just a few days I felt like I had know Michael for years, he’s really easy and super interesting to converse with. Michael is a true artist at heart and strives to create a story behind all the sets, I was really well looked after and I highly recommend him to all creatives :)

YAY!!!!! I had the fabulous pleasure of meeting Michael a month ago whilst I was out in Portugal however I didn’t get the chance to work with him so I couldn’t help but surprise him on my quick trip over this month :D

You only need to look at Michael’s port to see he’s a very creative and more than competent photographer, however it takes meeting Michael to realise how much of an artist he is, he genuinely cares about every shot and capturing an honest and raw emotion and moods in his work. He’s also a genuinely kind, down to earth, and beautiful soul to chat to let alone work with, I truly enjoyed our shoot as well as time just spend having a coffee in the sun.

I must also say that it’s a true collaboration when working with Michael, you can have no fear when making a suggestion for a shot or if you have a completely different idea entirely, he’s so energetic and just ready to capture something off the wall or simplistic. I love so many of the shots I saw on the back of the camera and I’m so excited to see the finished results :)

Very, very easily and highly recommended by me, and so bloody looking forward to the next time. Thank you for a beautiful day Michael!

I recently shot with Michael during a trip to the Algarve and had a wonderful time!

Michael was a great host as well as a great photographer. He is very much an artist and takes that approach with his work, it was fascinating to watch him with a camera in hand and work collaboratively in terms of ideas sharing, set suggestions, props, clothing etc. Whilst Michael had great ideas and an experienced eye for what it is he wanted to capture, it was really great that I felt my input was valued and we bounced ideas around the whole time I was there :) We shot a variety of clothed, lingerie and nude work both inside the house and out on location.

Outside of the shoot, I stayed with Michael for a couple of nights during my trip and thoroughly enjoyed our arty discussions, not only a great photographer but lovely person too!

I had an amazing shoot with Michael in Lagos the last week! I was really looking for that shoot as it was something new for me and while I was on my holiday. We went in a great beach near my hotel and we started straight away to capturing incredible photos. Pre communication was excellent as well, Michael is not only a really professional photographer but also a really easy going friendly person easy to chat with.

I had a great time and I highly reccommend him to all the models looking for stunning photos. I could improve my portfolio a lot.

I went out with another photographer to Michaels lovely home in Portugal and had the time of my life! He was so welcoming and I was very comfortable, although it was colder than expected, Michael accommodated that.

I went over to Portugal to work with Michael and another photographer. I stayed at Michaels villa and had a truly wonderful time! Michael is really easy to get along with and really looks after his models. We had 2 days shooting and the time flew by far too quickly!

The weather was not so nice on our first day but that didn't bother us too much, as there is lots of shooting potential in and around his villa. We created some amazingly stunning sets of images using both lights and natural light.

The weather was much nicer on the second day, so we travelled to a few outdoor locations and again managed to capture some beautiful images!

Michael is very professional, has a laid back approach and knows exactly what he would like to achieve from each shoot.

I hope to go back again soon and highly recommend him!

What an absolutely fantastic person and photographer Michael is! I was privileged to stay and work with Michael whilst I was in Portugal last week and loved every minute. Michaels hospitality was second to none and made me feel very welcome in his villa. In terms of his photography work, Michael is one of the best in my opinion. He is very creative, inspired and focused. From the images I have already seen, they are probably some of my best to date with stunning natural light and excellent concepts behind the images. A true gent and has already been said loads before but Michael comes very highly recommend. Thank you again for a fabulous weekend of shooting :)
