Art directed by my daughter - pose, hair arrangement, camera angle, etc. I did the technical stuff like lighting and retouching. My daughter also made the fabric, leaves and petals as well as decorating the shoes. She wanted the image for a college project to produce a magazine cover, so the negative spaces are for typography. Shot in cloudy daylight, a 1.7m octabox and 2m reflector were used to get more contrast and control shadow direction. The camera was mounted on a backdrop pole between its stands about 3m above the model and controlled via WiFi on an iPad.
