Pre comms were excellent and we had the pleasure of Jordan Melissa's company doing the makeup for this photoshoot she created some very bold colourful dramatic looks so a big thank you to this lovely lady too!

We were set on creating some beauty shots; I felt completely at ease through out as Manuel checked on my comfort offering me cups of coffee and talking me through the process

Manuel had great equipment and the knowledge to experiment with lighting creating some really interesting photos that had depth, he knows what he wants but enjoys the experimental process to get there :)

I thoroughly enjoyed today's shoot! I'm definately going to be working with Manuel again! I can't wait to see the end photos!

I am so glad that I have finally got the chance of working with this one. I am writing this reference a little late as I have now worked with Manuel multiple times now. He is a fantastic photographer who knows exactly what he wants from his shoots. He plans, is very organised and has fab ideas. I love working with Manuel, he makes me feel very comfortable during our shoots and he is lovely company, always making my laugh!!! My most recent shoot with Manuel was accompanied by 2 other models that he had also worked close with..he told us his concept and as a team we created some fantastic images. I’m excited for future shoots with this one and I highly recommend him😘

I had a shoot with Manuel yesterday . He was bang on time and knew exactly what shots he had in mind . We walked to some fields he knew well and was chatty and made me feel at ease immediately . A very interesting and knowledgable man who I could’ve listened to all day ! :-)

He explained everything as we went on , showing me the images each time . This was a very comfortable and enjoyable shoot with an absolute professional . I felt honoured to work with him . I definately recommend him and hope I can work with him again

On the Sunday, Manuel ran some 1-to-1s with some of those from Saturday's Portraiture Lighting Masterclass, and from the feedback we've taken since, everyone was extremely pleased with how they went.

Manuel is an excellent tutor, and so whether it's just a refresher you're in need of, or the whole caboodle in terms of understanding how to get the best from your photography - we have no hesitation in recommending him.

We were lucky enough to entice Manuel down to our humble studio to give one of his many photography classes, and provide some 1-to-1 mentoring to those who wanted it. The particular masterclass Manuel gave was his one on Portraiture Lighting, and it was excellent.

I don't know about you, but it's always lovely listening to someone who has a real passion for what they do, and this is evident very quickly when talking with Manuel.

Despite English not being Manuel's first language, he is an excellent orator, and I don't believe for one second that I was the only one who was a little disappointed when the talk needed to conclude!

Manuel is a consummate professional, and a total gentleman who respects everyone he works/collaborates with. Although I'm clearly a male studio owner and not a model, I wouldn't hesitate for a second in recommending him to anyone, and thoroughly look forward to his next visit.

I attended a portraiture masterclass with Manuel at J9 studio and had a great time. Manuel is a really nice guy and an excellent instructor. He has a really good depth of knowledge with a relaxed way of explaining things. Highly recommended.

Manuel was a super star today! It was my first shoot with him and my wonderful team of student hair and makeup artists.

Manuel kept in contact often with me for arrangements of the shoot, his mood boards was clear and concise, his ideas are wonderful and his creative drive for the shoot was something that I truly believed in and so was drawn to book and attend the shoot even if it was a 2 hour drive there and a 3 hour drive home! It was worth every minute!

I will look forward to receiving the images and I understand that they cannot be shared until October just some BTS images for now.

I would highly recommend Manuel and I hope to work with him again soon. Thank-you for a wonderful day.

Manuel is a great guy and an awesome photographer, Lots of ideas.. he knows what he wants in the picture and is able to capture it!

We only had a short time to shoot, but managed to capture a lot of great images!

Manuel is a creative through and through - he is really passionate about his work and such a good laugh to work with. He made me feel very comfortable, and explained the mood of the images that we were trying to capture clearly, allowing me to naturally develop my own poses as opposed to being told to pose a certain way.
