I am a hobbyist photographer that loves portraiture. In my capacity of an art historian, I have delved deep into the history of portraiture and what it can mean. I'm hoping to learn more about the process and execution of portraiture that I can be proud of.
Professionally, I am trained as an art theorist. I don't think there are any set rules to portraiture. The moment there are limitations is the moment I can't take art seriously. We'll see what I can learn as a member of this site...
