I've just finished a 2 hour shoot with Garrett and he was great to work with. We shot at the apartment I'd rented in Dublin and Garrett made great use of the space. Although fairly new to model photography he has great model etiquette and gave good direction :)

This was a fantastic shoot, seriously! Though relatively short; the sheer diversity of styles we covered was just so inspiring - shoots like this really represent what creatives can come up with when working together and utilising the resources available to them. Thank you so much Garrett. :)

Our shoot took place during my most recent visit to Dublin on a tour of Ireland. Garrett took the time to get in touch with me which got us into the swing of planning a shoot at the apartment location that I had arranged and that was that - time to look forward to a cracking little evening shoot! The location was my booked apartment accommodation so it offered us the opportunity to work the surroundings of the place, but because we shot later in the evening it was set to be an epic test to us working as a team to generate interesting situations with what available light we did indeed have. As it would happen - we rocked it! The creative and dynamic way of rolling with the shoot began generating exquisite images which were certainly completely different to the typical shots one would expect from such a location. Pretty safe to say that the bounce which came about on this shoot was mega!

Garrett was brilliant in pre-shoot communications, he gave me an idea of things he had an interest in working with in terms of looks and items to bring. I routinely have the biggest war with my luggage whenever I am flying anywhere so it's such a massive help when photographers confidently specify... Because otherwise I just lose it and bring my whole house! :P But Garrett had such a credible get-up-and-go approach to shooting, though he may not have done a massive amount of shooting with models he still approaches his shoots with the positive enthusiasm and creative interest to produce images of an interesting and aesthetic value. He threw himself right into every situation/set that we took on on the evening of our shoot with limitations that could otherwise make a person just give up... But we stretched the teamwork as far as it would go, jumped at every unique and promising feature that we came across, worked with what we had and the outcome was tremendous! Genuinely.

Garret will pump his own inspired visions into a shoot to make the moment into a picture, but he also takes on board a lot of input that the models are able to share. Good rapports are a very important part of creative photo shoots because one cannot do their thing without the other being on the same wavelength - or it can be done should I say, but it would be a whole lot more tedious a process. But we didn't have to worry about that for one minute when we worked together because the wave-lengthing started from the word go! :D

I found Garrett to be a really respectful, courteous but fun and characterful person to work alongside. He has good etiquette and manners, we chatted a lot as we worked and generally had a really pleasant time in each others company. The shoot seemed to fly by so quickly! It just means that we'll definitely have to work together again when I'm next in Ireland as the scope only begins to come clear once the shoot itself is into the flow. :)
