I was asked to put together some images based on mental health issues for an event in Birmingham. My concept for this shoot was that we can try to hide ourselves behind a mask, and we can build a wall to keep people out, but sometimes that wall traps us. It doesn't stop whats underneath from growing and can sometimes make things worse. Talking about our mental health issues can be the best way to deal with them.
