Hi, I'm Karen - nice to meet you! 

I’m a Leamington Spa based photographer and I have a lovely studio space based in Coventry city centre.

I am a perfectionist and spend a lot of time organising and planning my shoots!

Currently I'm redeveloping my portfolio with more creative shots and in-camera techniques. Whilst I’m also a retoucher, I am not a fan heavy retouching and prefer to only accentuate my images.

I love to shoot outdoors with natural light and I do a limited number of shoots per year due to a set budget. If you like my work and would like to a TF, please get in touch.

B&W is my obsession, I am not adverse to colour, but I love the shadow/mood of mono. Yes, I do like realism, but also fascinated by how the lack of the colour inherently creates a kind of fantasy.

I also shoot on film, I have a Holga toy camera I also bring along to my shoots.

My colour photography is influenced by classic film shocks and usually emphasises cooler tones.

I’d like to capture a models reality. Therefore, I am looking to work with models that are able to pose easily with little direction and also showcase a vast range of emotions. I like strong poses, but less modelesque and more elegant and arty.
