Just Another Film Guy

Hey, I’m John. In a different lifetime I was a professional photographer but now I just enjoy shooting for fun.

I shoot on film; usually 35mm, sometimes medium format or instant film, because let’s face it - it looks so much better than digital stuff. It’s a technical and creative challenge, and the results are always more than the sum of their parts. The film adds magic. I’ve always got a stack of different cameras to try out too, so you never quite know what you’re going to get.

I’d love to meet interesting, characterful models or other photographers who’d like to create something a bit different from the norm. Sharing ideas and creativity to build something meaningful together is what I’m about. I’m not interested in taking photos for photos sake.

You might class my work as vintagey, slightly fashiony, classy (hopefully) boudoir type stuff. You guys can decide for yourselves!
