So while I was trying to think of how I could make up for a wasted journey to Rochdale, I got a phone call..

Julia had expressed an interest in working with me, so as I was in the right place we met and planned a shoot by a local reservoir. One quite long walk later we discovered that Yorkshire Water weren't too happy about having folks near their reservoir and fenced it all round. So we too a few shots on the trail and popped back into Leeds for a quick change before attempting some street-light lit shots in the city centre but by the time we had had got back, snacked and changed, etc it was pretty late and so we gave up on that idea as well. But, as it was a completely impromptu shoot and started in the evening I was ok with all that and still consider the day rescued. Julia is a very personable girl with Lucy Worsley looks (facial expression wise), a charming and intelligent personality, pretty adventurous and I am looking forward to shooting a lot more when her exams are finished. I'm guessing it was coincidence that I happened to be around when she was having her last R&R session before her exams (good luck for those, btw), but sometimes coincidences are quite cool.
