I can't find this particular humming bird in my bird book. Sorry. He was very co-operative, flitting from plant to plant and resting often. In-flight shots were too difficult and as the wings beat incredibly fast, they would not have been frozen by even a very fast shutter speed. Taken in the lovely gardens of the Lorca Museum, Lima, Peru. The museum is well worth a visit and is stuffed with Inca artefacts.
