They also have built a great community of models & photographers who encourage & support each other, offering help and guidance if requested.

They organise and run various shoots and events throughout the year, giving opportunities to models and photographers to work together.

I had a wonderful day shooting at this lovely studio on Saturday for my sold out studio day. I was also here back in November for a duo day with Sally. Jen is such a friendly, helpful and professional studio owner and I really enjoy shooting here. Jen promoted my day and has a fantastic group of regular professional and respectful photographers who I always enjoy working with. The studio is easy to find with ample parking. Despite the cold weather, there were heaters in the changing area and studio so I was warm and comfortable while shooting. There are plenty of areas and backdrops to use aswell as furniture and props if needed. Highly recommended by me!

I had the pleasure of Using JB studios for a number of my Creative Shoots and have attended many fun events there, Jen who runs the Studio is a lovely person and helpful to any one who uses the studio whether a beginner or a pro, the studio has two studio areas one with the choice of Strobe or natural light which is amazing when caught at the right moment, the other studio has a infinite curve and back drops on the other side so plenty for you to be creative with and that with out the props room with lots things to help add to your shoot, changing room for the models, and a kitchen for refreshments, parking at the studio is plentiful and free and next to the studio so easy to carry your gear in. if your looking for a great friendly Studio to use for a few hours a longer, whether beginner or pro I highly reccomend you give JB Studios a Try.

My last visit to the Studio was a few weeks ago where is was fortunate enough to be one of the many photographers and models attending the 24Hr Charity Shoot for the Make A Wish Foundation. This all took place on the 30th September.

A fantastic event! Well planned, well organised on the day and with the fun factor set to high, it couldn't have been a better day. Grabbed some fantastic captures during my 11 hours in all at the event, with various models and sets in place. This included some 'Night Light Painting' which was set up by one of the many regular attendee photographers at the Studio.

It's fair to say I do utilise this studio quite a bit, as the location is ideal. The areas to shoot in are more than adequate in size. With 2 prime studio areas available. So, your never in a tight spot.

Personally, I like to use the front studio if I can usually, as this has something so many studios just don't have these days and that's natural light! The other studio, this is split into 2 areas. One, a white infinity curved wall background. Perfect for true Fashion and Commercial Shooting as well as giving you the options and versatility, if you want to get creative with back drops and studio lighting. If you turn around 180 degrees, you have a dark area. This comes complete with a choice of electrically operated at height rollers with Black and Grey back drops.

A number of studio lighting options are available as well as plenty of power points should you wish to bring your own set ups to the shoot.

And a prop room. Lots of bits and pieces in there to bring that little something extra to you shoot.

There is a kitchen available to make hot drinks etc. A toilet of course and a proper changing and prep area for models. Finally if you're there during week in the day time, a small greasy spoon cafe opposite for that much needed sausage or bacon roll/sandwich. I mean these are on my must have list if not yours lol.

Parking is plentiful especially at the weekends and in the evening and right outside. So, if you are coming for the day/evening with plenty of your own lighting equipment, backdrops, props etc. then you haven't far to carry them.

All in all, it's a good studio and facility. All you need to bring to this party is your own imagination and ideas to make the most of everything available. Give it a try!

30 September 2023 - 24 hour charity shoot for the Make a Wish Foundation. Jen has been planning this for some months and the day finally arrived, There were models, photographers, MUAs, husbands, wives, a dog, home made cakes (thanks Jacob), burgers and hot dogs (thanks Duane), raffle prizes and so much more. The studio was buzzing. There were some new faces who were made very welcome and of course plenty of opportunity to shoot inside and out. There was a great atmosphere with everyone working together in so many different ways. I was unable to stay for the full 24 hours but I know there was lots planned for the evening and small hours of the morning. Jen is running the London Marathon in 2024 and this was part of her fund raising activity. She created something special. A chance to network and capture images, eat drink and be merry whilst raising money for a worthwhile cause.

Jen you created something special that we will be talking about for many years to come. Another triumph for the JB Studios Community.

JB studios held a 24 hr charity event! It was amazing! So much effort was put into this event and I enjoyed every minute!

The studio had everything! Backdrops to amazing props, I especially loved posing with the mirror balls. Even great for outdoor shots as they have some cool stairs that give that urban feel.

Very friendly and welcoming. Great changing room! Also access to toilet and a little kitchen.

Would love to visit again and again!

I had an amazing studio day with @JB studios and everything went really great. The studio itself is very well-equipped and has a couple of different set ups in different room with a lot of space to shoot in. Jen has such a great team of photographers and we had a lot of laughs shooting in there as atmosphere was very friendly and welcoming. Thanks Jen,looking forward to working with you again

I have shot at this studio many times over the years and its always been an enjoyable experience.

Owner Jen is always welcoming and friendly.

There's 2 rooms to shoot in.. Front room is perfect for sun & Shadows (on a good day,obviously) with the natural light. Also has different backdrops to use.

The other room has a white infinity space on 1 side and a brick backdrop on the other.

Plenty of room..

Always happy to shoot here.

This was first time at JB Studios as a part of my South tour and Jen was fabulous across both of the days. She was very supportive in the advertising and on the days she was nothing but helpful and kind. The studio is very well equipped and I would have no hesitation recommending it!

Visited JB yesterday and had a great session with Erica. The studio was easy to find with adequate parking just outside the door and a warm welcome on arrival.

Jen was very knowledgable and happy to help with set up and advice on backgrounds and the lighting equipment; she was happy to give guidance on slow shutter photography. Looks like we have some great images to go through.

I only used the white infinity wall and one backdrop but there were plenty of other choices I could have picked from or other room to use had time or inclination permitted.

Sadly we are a distance away from JB but looking forward to a return visit in the near future.

Had an amazing studio day at JB Studios on the weekend. Jen is a great host, there if you need her but happy to stay out the way if not. An amazing studio, lots of different areas and backdrops to use, plenty of props as well if needed.

I worked with various different photographers, a few only for a short time but it didn’t once really too rushed or stressful at any time and that’s all thanks to Jen and her organisational skills.

Thank you so much for a fab day, and I’m sure I will be back again soon! :D

My first shoot at JB Studios. A full day with two local models – Emma3 & Heidi Harper – with a duo overlap in the middle. Jen bent over backwards to accommodate us, and I am very grateful. Had my first model night shoot at JB Studios, and loved every second. Jen was so communicative and made me feel right at home. There are heaters, speakers, a room to change in and plenty of different backgrounds to shoot with and props / outfits to use. The space is neat and Jen was so welcoming. I've dated this today, as I've had quite a few shoots at this Fantastic Studio over the past Month'n'a bit.

Some have been Modelling Nights/Events hosted and run by Jen (Studio Owner) Some have been Modelling with Jen as the Capable Photographer 📸.

I (apart from 1 time) haven't used any other Studio this year, because this one is both Fantastic and has a Great Community of Photographers that frequent it.. Group Modelling nights are as much about socialising as they are about Photography.

... What a Great Place to spend a few hours 🙂
