JB Studios

JB Studios is a versatile and clean studio located in Benfleet, Essex. With plenty of parking outside and only 2 miles away from Benfleet station.

Help with lighting set ups and camera settings always available on the day so don't worry if you haven't used studio strobes before, we will assist as necessary.

The studio is made up of a comfortable waiting/reception area for you to welcome your clients, some also use this to view images after shooting or for set up/styling. There is a kitchen attached to the waiting area. There are refreshments available as well as a kettle, microwave and fridge which you are able to use. A toilet is also available in this area of the studio. And access to free wifi.

As you walk through the hallway there is a studio to the right which allows for some stunning natural light images. We also have colorama backdrops at the other end of this room/studio with an array of colours to choose from. 

At  the end of the studio is our second studio there is a large infinity curve with a high ceiling allowing for high key, large groups and movements/dancing etc. The opposite end to this room/studio there are thick black and grey backdrops on an electronic motor. Around the studio their are also various wallpapers which can be used to shoot on.

The models have their own private dedicated room. Which has a full length mirror one end, a dressing table and a mirror at the other. There is a dressing gown which the models are welcome to use and a clothes rail to lay out their clothes for the shoots.

There is also a good sized prop room that holds a variety of props, chairs, lights, soft boxes, colour gels, fabrics, vinyl backdrops (you can see these in an album on our page) posing box, stairs, ladder, mattress and much more. You are welcome to use any of these items during your visit.

Due to the extra rooms the studio is fantastic for larger production teams that may include; hair, make up, stylists, art directors and such like.

The studio has been used for both photographic and Videography work. We have had a music video, documentaries and youtube videos filmed at the studio!

We are a warm and friendly studio that prides itself on being inclusive of all models. Ensuring the models and photographers feel safe and secure to create beautiful imagery. We host regular model nights, workshops and social events which we advertise on our social media.

The studio is highly versatile for all levels and styles, whether you are a new photographer or highly experienced.
