This is my first time working with Jono and his son Harry doing a anime cosplay shoot, firstly really good communication throughout the whole shoot, Jono and Harry have a great sense of humour which made them both very fun to work with. Jono is a very talented photographer who knows what he wants from an image and despite the fact that Harry is learning he's able to create great photographs and I look forward to working with them both again soon x

What a joy working with Jono! He booked a slot during my studio day, hosted at 244 Creative Studio Space in Cowdenbeath.

He arrived on time very well prepared for the shoot with so many great ideas. We shoot retro/vintage fashion around the studio backdrops.

We had a really fun shoot producing a mixture of fabulous images.

Excellent communications, great company, punctual, professional and creating a really nice relaxed atmosphere.

So highly recommended, you will love getting creative with Jono, he is a joy to work alongside and such a wonderful person. Always determined to capture a variety of images, learning and adapting as he progresses his passion for photography.

Hopefully we will be able to work together again next year :)

Artemis Fauna

I had a lovely two hour shoot with Jono and his son whilst on my Scotland tour a couple of weeks ago. I hadn't been to Aberdeen for many years so it was great to be introduced to a new studio too.

Jono had great comms on the lead up to the shoot, knew what he wanted to focus the time on (vintage fashion) and we got some lovely results.

Both Jono and his son listened to my ideas, suggestions and help on the day which was really nice.

I hope we can shoot again next year when I am back in Scotland :)

Jade Lyon

Second shoot with Jono whilst I was in Scotland and it was even better than the first! Jono travelled a reasonable wat to shoot at some beautiful locations near where I was staying around Aviemore. He is very prepared and has ideas planned out with props etc. He's also very open to hearing my suggestions and we created some very atmospheric photos which I have started to share on my PP.

He bought along some flash lighting and we used a lantern as well to create some dramatic photos. Jono you have upped your game! Really great to see what you achieved!

I hope to be back again in Scotland at some point. Let's hope we don't have to wait another year this time if I can get there sooner!

Irongem / Gemma

I gad a first shoot with Jono whilst doing a model day at the awesome Bad Karma Studio in Aberdeen.

Jono had booked an hour slot with me and we had a blast during that time!

We had a few emails back and forward of the style Jono was after, so I did my best in having a few dresses to fit the Rockabilly/50s style.

I absolutely love that style so I was pleased to be able to shoot it. I brough along a lovely blue polkadot dress with peticoat, and a yellow pencil dress.

Jono was amazing for being new to model/studio photography - though not new to a camera.

A true professional and a lot of fun to work with.

I highly recommned Jono to all models. The resulting images are gorgeous, and the theme we shot had me feeling a million dollars.

Thanks again Jono, hopefully we will have some future shooting opportunities:)

Had a first shoot with Jono whilst I was in Scotland and it was such a pleasure. He was well aware he didn't have any references on PP when contacting me so sent me other photographer's details he'd done workshops with and welcomed my partner coming along to help.

He was super friendly from the start, easy to talk to and it was a very relaxed shoot. His locations were thought through and he had a good idea of things he wanted to achieve. We had some beautiful sunshine but then at the end of the shoot he played around with some flash which also looked really good.

Jono even gifted us the prop which was a quaich (ye olde drinking goblet type thing!) he brought along to use to take some photos with which was very kind.

I would happily recommend working with him!
