The workshop was well planned and a joy to model for, everyone who came along were really lovely and willing to learn. James was super helpful to the candidates making sure they understood the set ups so forth.

Really enjoyed the day and hope to do another in the future :)

I worked with James yesterday in Birmingham, at a photography workshop.

He was extremely nice, friendly and easy going, which made the whole workshop run smoothly. After the workshop, we were able to fit in a shoot before leaving to get my coach. James had some great ideas and I really liked the set we did; I am looking forward to seeing the edits. I really enjoyed the day and it was great to meet other photographers in the area. James made sure I got to and from the studio which was so helpful, so thank you again for that. Highly recommended!

Had a thoroughly enjoyable day last week at Premier Studios. James was very helpful throughout the whole day and very informative. The course run from 10-4 and James ensured that during the day various lighting setups were provided to keep us occupied and entertained. The course is allocated for 4 togs and this is great as you really do get a chance to get loads of images during the day. I would recommend this course to any tog who is looking to get into studio photography.

I had such an amazing day today modelling a studio lighting day at Premier Studio.

Premier Studio is as an unique and excellent way of teaching studio lighting. The groups are small, so everyone gets heaps of time to shoot, whilst still being taught various lighting techniques. It's a fantastic idea for a photographer to gain experience, and above all, the confidence to work in a studio environment.

I very highly recommend taking one of James' studio days, especially if you're new, or wish to improve on model photography. It also allows a real chance for the photographers to practice directing a model too - which I know can be a very difficult thing and and put some budding photographers off.

The photographers are left to experiment with their own individual styles, but James is still there to help guide and encourage. It's amazing value for money too.

They're informative, confidence boosting and fun!

James is wonderful to work with and pre-shoot communications were brilliant. James is fantastic at explaining how different lighting concepts work and is very easy going.

I highly recommend working with James - and his tuition days are awesome!

I shot at Premier Studio's yesterday, Great studio, plenty of set up's, good changing/dressing area! All the photographers which I worked with made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived, even chaperoned my bags up to the studio from my car haha! Lovely friendly environment, Had a great time shooting there, Would definitely recommend this studio to other models/ photographers to use! Although I shot in the evening, I could see it would be great for natural light photography with it having plenty of big window's throughout the studio! Thoroughly enjoyed the day I spent there, Highly would recommend taking a trip there! And I will look forward to shooting there again myself at some point in the near future! Had a great shoot at the studio a couple of days ago. All of the photographers involved were lovely and the atmosphere throughout was friendly and relaxed. Wouldn't hesitate to work with them again. Jade x

I really enjoyed my shoot at PremierStudioDays, the environment was so relaxed and fun. I really enjoyed the day and some fantastic images have been produced! I cannot wait to come back and enjoy myself all over again :)

Had a great shoot at the studio, everyone was so nice and it was relaxed and fun. The studio was nice and warm too unlike the larger type cold studios, so shooting was comfortable. Plus theres some lovely natural light from the windows so you can get nice images. Would definitely like to shoot there again and would recommend to models and photographers too :)

I've shot with James at PremierStudioDays on a few occasions, hell i'd like to believe I helped kick start it when I advertised that I was looking to assist and build confidence on MM :)

James is very friendly, easy to get on with and is willing to listen to any concerns. Having brought some examples of other peoples work for ideas that I liked, he was open to figuring out the lighting set up with us and was willing to give them a go. James even ran through some post production techniques and software options.

The days have consisted of Strobes, Natural light and Ring Flash; all based in a pretty central studio in Birmingham City Centre.
