Inked Blonde Model

I worked with David at my Studio Day at Synergy Studio.

David turned up on time and we had a chat about what he wanted to create during his time with me. It is clear that David has a passion for athletic images and can really understand the work that goes into being an athlete. That being said I am a little softer just now as the competitions have been cancelled this year due to covid, but we still got some lovely images showing my definition.

Our time together passed by quickly, a good sign of a productive shoot. David had some inspiration images with him too that she showed me and we tried to recreate.

We have discussed a further shoot in the new year when (hopefully) the world is back to normal and I am in training for hitting the stage again.

I would recommend David, easy going guy with an eye for a great image.

I had My first shoot with David yesterday at my dance and aerial studio . It was a brilliant day , David is very skilled , easy to get along with and knew exactly what kind of shots he wanted to capture. Pre communications where excellent and we spent some time discussing what shots we would go for . We did a fun mix of shots showing off flexiblity on floor /pole and aerial hoop . It turned you to be a fun day for me and a great shoot . Highly recommend working with David and I do hope to work with him again .

He had a good idea of what he wanted from the shoot and everything was agreed beforehand. The images on the back of his camera looked beautiful. I so very highly reccommend David. He really has a keen eye for his photography and is willing to do whatever is possible and needed to capture a lovely image.

He puts alot of time and care into setting up the lighting, angles and getting the pose looking as good as possible.

Sadly, my hotel made a mess up and didn't give us the type of room I requested upon booking, but luckily with thanks to David's patience and the hotel beig accommodating we managed to get the correct room sorted and made the the most of our time together.

It is very obvious David has done photography as a professional with the keen eye he has for getting everything 'just right'.

David hadn't done a hotel shoot for quite a while after getting accommodated with the studio he usually works at, but you would never have known any different as he was completely professional and creative throughout, making use of a few props within the room, and also managing to cover a few different outfits and sets.

I loved my time with David, hearing stories on his photography past, aswell as learning he had family who done the same which inspired him as a child!

Cannot wait to get a studio a shoot in together in the future and create some more gorgeous images.

David had booked on to the final 4 hours of my Studio Weekend at Synergy, and he was truly an absolute pleasure and joy to work with.

He first contacted me to register his interest in the slots and messaged me to ask about my current flexibility and dance experience - he had clearly read my portfolio notes to do so! He went on to explain the ideas he had for the shoot and if i was interested - after seeing his work, of course I was!

David's pre-shoot communications were second to none, as have his post shoot comms! He went in to great detail with the kind of shapes he wanted to try and achieve, as well as the styles and outfits he would also like.

He had hired Saskia at Synergy to do my make up, so I made sure I was early on the day of the shoot to get my make up done to make the most of our shooting time, yet he arrived soon after myself, clearly a very punctual and organised man. We started with a few more gothic sets before moving to a more natural look for a few dance and art nude sets. David was most respectful and kind through out the shoot. He put me at ease straight away, and was incredibly kind and calm even when I started to get worked up about failing at a certain jump - something I can not appreciate and respect him more for.

He is very skilled with his lighting, and knows exactly how he wants thing to get the perfect shot he is visualising in his mind. He is great with his direction, and clearly has many wonderful ideas, as well as being more than happy for the model to go with her own flow.

The 4 hours absolutely flew by! it was a total pleasure to meet and work with David, and I can not recommend him highly enough. Someone I would definitely work with again if given the opportunity. Thank yous o much, David!

I had a great shoot with David at Synergy today. He'd had a model recently cancel and I was very happy to fill in when he mentioned he was looking for a gothic look! His pre-comms were excellent and the shoot itself was a lot of fun. He very sweetly indulged me when I insisted on playing 80s gothic rock throughout the shoot to create the right "mood".

David really made the most of the lighting in the studio and the photos I saw from the back of the camera looked gorgeous! I'd happily work with him again and look forward to doing so in future. :)

I had a great shoot with David at Synergy Studio during my tour in Scotland after he booked in some short notice availability I had.

He was professional, polite and respectful, and thorough in communications before and after. We got through some great sets and beautiful lighting, working together on the ideas and aims he had in mind.

I had a wonderful second shoot with David doing some fine art nude at Synergy photography studio in Livingston. We had such a productive session and achieved what we set out to accomplish creating some beautiful art nude imagery. The time absolutely flew by aswell and I had so much fun.

David was on time and ready to shoot when I arrived. He is so welcoming and an extremely respectful and professional photographer with an added warm and caring personality. David's pre shoot comms were excellent and during our shoot he was great at giving me direction allowing me to flow freely and add some of my own ideas to our shoot.

Super fun Second model shoot with David at Synergy Photography studio last week. The shoot was a duo with model Ivy Rose Gehenna. It was great to experiment with bright creative makeup and colourful clothing for a pop art style shoot.

David is great when it comes to pre communications. You always know what to bring and how he would like the shoot to be. He is super easy to work with in person and friendly. Looking forward to working with him again soon. Highly recommended to any creative :)

I had a wonderful shoot with David during my studio day in Scotland at Synergy. He booked well in advance and comms were absolutely spot on! Lots of detail and I knew exactly the sort of looks he was trying to aim for which made packing so much easier for me!...

On the day I found David to be really lovely and friendly, we soon got chatting and having a giggle! It was awesome to shoot so many styles that I like to shoot. Fashion with a big of movement-style-shapes. He also tried out some gel shots which were amazing!...

I would absolutely recommend David to any model or studio (he was respectful throughout and also respectful of the space he was using) and would love to work with him again in the future!

The shoot flew by and we managed to capture some absolutely stunning images!

This was my first time shooting with David as a model as I previously shot with him as a makeup artist. His pre communication was excellent as always and I knew exactly what to bring on the day. David shot some beautiful images. We went for a more vintage pinup style and some Victorian style nudes. Looking forward to my second shoot with David in January. Highly recommended

I enjoyed my first shoot with David recently at Synergy Photography Studio in Livingston doing a bikini body paint look created by Synergy's in house makeup artist Creative Makeup by Saskia, modelling alongside the lovely Belle Eve and then doing a solo creepy clown look also created by Creative makeup by Saskia.

David was on time, organised and so professional, his communications leading up to our shoot were excellent, giving myself, Saskia and Belle Eve a clear idea of what we were to bring to the shoot and in terms of the body paint and makeup, so between us all we had a good plan which on the day went so smoothly and both looks were brought to life. I loved David's ideas and we all produced some beautiful and creepy images.

Our conversation flowed and the time flew by. David is respectful, polite and worked so hard to achieve the images he was looking to produce.

A pleasure to meet and work with and I highly recommend to all creatives, do not miss out on the opportunity to work with David. Such a nice person and a wonderful photographer with out of the box ideas.

Creative Makeup by Saskia

David contacted me to do body paint and a Halloween creative makeup look for a recent shoot with Aurora Violet and Belle Eve at Synergy Photography Studio.

I always love it when photographers come to me with new and different ideas. His communication was fantastic and gave me a good idea of what he wanted on the day so it was very easy to turn his ideas into reality. David was super professional and a joy to work with on the day.

Pre-shoot comms were great and I knew exactly what to bring to the shoot and what kind of a face to put on. David is easy to talk to and to work with. He knew what sort of image he was after but also was open to my creative input.

Really enjoyed chatting photography with him and I think we created some great pictures. He made a smashing cup of coffee, too!
