We got a really nice range of looks done and still managed a little natter!

Chris came to a content day at our Studio recently and it was the first time he’s done a shoot with us. Such a lovely guy and his Photos are absolutley stunning, his attention to detail with lighting and editing makes some amazing photos. He is very proffessional and the models were comfortable and at ease working with him, he gives direction and is very easy to get along with. We were so happy with the content he produced from the shoot and hope to see him again at future events. Highly recommend him if your looking to get some fantastic images

Had my first shoot with Chris and he was incredible. I was very impressed by his attention to detail. He knows what he’s doing when it comes to shooting at the studio. He was open to my ideas and made sure we both got what we wanted out of the shoot.He also gave me a lift home as I was feeling unwell and we had a lovely chat. :) would recommend

The amazing Chris. How I adore Chris! The maximum effort he puts into every single shot does not go unnoticed as you can tell by the fantastic captures he gets! Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

Chris attended a recent workshop run by Owen Lloyd and Nicole Rayner.

It's always a pleasure to have Chris at Basford, he's a wonderful photographer and full of creativity. He made sure to listen to Owen throughout the day and was respectful of the location, the model and of the other photographers.

Chris contacted me to ask for a shoot after I had a cancellation at Basford Hurst Cottage. Needless to say I was thrilled as I have been a big fan of his work for a long time, and, I have now met him a few times when he was worked with other models here at Basford.

Chris arrived on time with everything he needed for the shoot - We spoke through some ideas and Chris had even brought a mood board with plenty of ideas. We worked through a bathroom set, a derelict set and even a 'zero f**ks given toilet set' ... The creativity flowed and we both brought lots of brilliant ideas and interpretations!!

The images I saw on the back of the camera were fantastic!!! I cannot wait to see the finished edits and I would absolutely recommend Chris!!! I look forward to shooting with Chris again soon!! Thanks Chris!

This was my second time shooting with Chris, Although this shoot didn't take as much planning Chris found us a lovely location to shoot at a half way point between us. Being as neither of us had ever been to this location before it turned out to be excellent! I really do enjoy working with Chris, we get on well and I feel so comfortable shooting with him which I think shows in the photos. He is Genuine down to earth guy.

On a professional level Chris always puts 100% effort into his work, He uses high end and modern equipment and knows how to get some great shots. His pre shoot communication is always excellent, he answers any questions that I have and always replies to messages.

I'm happy with the photos we got from our shoot and I'm very much looking forward to seeing the end result. I hope to work with him again in the future.

Chris was one of the photographers on a group shoot that I modelled for on September 1st in The Roaches. The shoot was well organised, with two models and six photographers, complete with some great light during golden hour and some interesting locations to work in and around. Although as is the nature of group shoots, we didn't work that much together, but he was a useful addition to the group, and I would recommend working with him if you are given the chance.

Another amazing shoot with Chris. He's more than happy to go with my crazy ideas with a crazy weather. Very mindful towards and looks after models very well.

The shoot was fabulous as he has great eyes for taking awesome photos.

Chris is also very good at minding natural lights and very adaptable with his surroundings when it comes to capturing the photos.

Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

It was pleasure to welcome Chris back to Basford when he came back to shoot with Erica Mulkern on her group shoot event.

Chris worked well with Erica on each of her sets and made sure to be always respectful of the location and our time schedule for the event. He is also incredibly easy to talk to, polite, friendly and each to work alongside.

Wow... what can I say about this shoot with Chris?... I contacted him as I was looking for potential photographers around the area of Staffordshire whilst I had some studio days at Basford Hurst. I already felt incredibly drawn to Chris's work. It has such a presence about it, a rawness and I adore the black and white film style he produces.

As our shoot neared, the weather was wet and atmospheric. We both agreed that we were happy to shoot whatever the weather as we had planned a location shoot.

It certainly wasn't the warmest of days, it was breezy and we shot on some hills in the area. The locations were absolutely breathtaking, I was blown away. I felt connected to Chris and I knew that we were going to create some amazing work after seeing the first few shots.

Words fail really to express what I felt from this shoot, the images truly speak so much.

I cannot wait to work with him again, a true creative, a genuinely kind and lovely soul.
