I have been taking pictures since the very early 1960's, with my own darkroom processing and printing black & white, in later years processed and printed colour, photographing anything and everything. I started scanning negatives digitally about 1997 or 8 to print myself on an early A3 epson consumer printer. I turned completely digital in 1999 after purchasing a Olympus Camedia 2000, graduated through improved Olympus cameras, then Canon DSLR and better printers to my current gear Lumix 4/3rds. Getting older now and some health issues so wanted to cut the weight of my camera kit. My current printer an Epson SureColor P800

These days my main interest is studio art nude and portraiture also fashion, like working out doors when I know of a good location and can get a suitable model. I also have a small garage studio, limited for space but practical and an assortment of backdrops, many of the pictures on this port were shot there, also at Smethwick Photograic Society which has its own well equipped studio.

I have started working to a theme more of late, which I find very interesting and rewarding. The other thing I am starting to do more and more is to use studio images to make composites in different environments, great fun.

I am open to TFP to any model interested in working with me, whatever level you want, very happy to shoot Portrait, fashion and lifestyle. I would be particularly interested in those wishing to build their portfolio so don't be afraid to contact me with your ideas.
