Superb boutique hotel location. Really easy to book and on a Thursday we had the run of the place, some great natural light but, with it being a late afternoon shoot I was grateful for my flash.

So many great areas to shoot in, I would highly recommend HdV.

Super location to shoot at. HdV had 4 rooms available for us to use. In fact we used only the Scarlet Suite (for 3 hours) and could easily have shot another 3 or 4 completely different sets in just that one suite. Except on the brightest of days, it would be best to have lighting to use in this room but a couple of the others on the second floor had really good natural light. (There were 4 rooms I didn't see, so it is probably more than just a couple, in fairness).

The staff were very friendly and helpful and I certainly recommend HdV and will use it again for sure.

Fantastic hotel and perfect for a range of images. I booked the Scarlet Suite and I certainly wasn't disappointed. We were actually the only ones in the hotel so it was great to just do our thing and enjoy everything there is to offer. I'm sure I'll be there again in the future.

My third visit to this beautiful hotel; this time for a boudoir event with 7 models and 7 photographers. Each room is beautiful and different so photographers will always walk away with a great variety of images. Staff were very helpful and even organised a hot lunch for everyone! Highly recommended and I hope to return soon.

The hotel opened its doors once again to a PurplePort group event.

The rooms speak for themselves, and in any case others will sing their praises, but I'd particularly note that the management were helpful from start to finish, helping in the organisation of the event, making sure the rooms were camera-ready, and actively assisting on the day itself in a multitude of ways.

An amazing place to shoot if you get the chance!

This is an amazing place to shoot with beautiful rooms, all furnished wonderfully and in-keeping with the vintage feel of the place. I felt very privileged to shoot in all of the rooms over the course of one weekend and in two of the huge bathtubs available!

Shot at Hotel de Vie for the time today and what a great place it is. I shot in one of the suites and it made the perfect place to shoot lingerie and boudoir. Arran was extremely helpful and the perfect host.

HdV comes highly recommended by me and I hope to be back there soon. :-)

I had my first shoot at Hotel de Vie yesterday and I sincerely hope it won't be my last. I arrived early due to my photographer being delayed but the staff were delightfully helpful - immediately making me a cup of tea and settling me in the lobby with the wifi password. The suite we had booked was superb (with a bath the size of a small county); we could easily have shot in there for twice as long. Highly recommended and I hope to return soon.

A fantastic time at HdV, in a shoot organised by Lucy Lu and Helen Stephens on 2 November 2014. Fabulous models: Angel, Artemis Fauna, Avant Garde, Camy, CatB, Dan Maccer and Helen and Lucy, shot in an excellent location.

The rooms, stairs, landings and downstairs areas offer huge scope to any 'tog. The giant bath in Parisian Dreams might take a while to fill, but provide slots of scope. The four-poster beds are made for inventiveness and agility.

I will certainly shoot here again. After-all, I can walk there!

I have had the absolute pleasure to model at the Hotel de Vie three times now, and I never get bored of it!! It really is a luxurious photographic playground! All the rooms are so unique and every time I work there, the images produced are so varied. Just check out all the images Hotel de Vie is tagged in and see for yourselves the amazing versatility that this hotel has to offer!

Arran was so incredibly helpful when Lucy Lu and I organised an epic three-day event there. His communication before the event was utterly superb and during the event his help was indispensable. Arran is a lovely person and a fantastic host.

I attended an event at Hotel de Vie for the day, Jason was very welcoming and made sure the day ran smoothly and the rooms are beautiful. Great event, with some great people involved.

I would highly recommend this hotel for shoots or staying in, and I hope to go back one day.

I had a great afternoon/evening shooting here, a well planned event, kept on track by Jason and he looked after us with refreshments available throughout and he organised dinner. Each room offers something different to capture whether it's natural light or bringing your own lights. The models were superb and helped make the most of the occasion. This was my first Hotel de Vie event, i look forward to being able to attend future events in this location. Highly recommended.

I've attended 3 events here now and each time found the experience really enjoyable. Each of the rooms have lots of character with a different theme and style. Although some of the smaller room can be challenging, part of the fun is figuring out how to make best use of the space. Jason is a great host, nothing is too much trouble and free snacks and drinks are available all day.

If you have the opportunity you should go along to one of the events.

The hotel is great with lots of shooting options and different features. Jason worked hard to keep the sessions on track and keep us fed and watered. The coffee options also kept the spirits up on quite a long photography session. Great day, highly recommend.

I went to the recent event. It was a fun and relaxed event (except that perhaps I was tempted into trying to do too many shots of too many backdrops with every model). It's true that everywhere you look there are shooting possibilities.

The hotel is also comfortable to stay in.
