Had a chance of attending one of Jim's organised shoots where I was able to see the wonderfull studio again, after several years.

Plenty of props to utilise, lovely natual lighting, massive space and lovely portable heating to keep everyone warm.

Also had lovely service in the form of Jim managing drinks, music and moving things around.

A highly recommended studio to shoot in.

Ive had some great shoots at Hallam Mill and Ive lost count how many times Ive visited over the last few years

Thankyou Jim for always having cups of tea and heating available

I recommend this studio to everyone because its huge and theres so many options

Just wanted to say thank you to Jim for hosting my shoot with Miraine yesterday. Communications have been good and as an amateur it was useful to have Jim's advice about the best way to use his studio and equipment. Due to its vast size (a good thing) it's a chilly space in winter, but Jim had plenty of heaters to ensure the space warmed up quickly. Hospitality was great, with drinks and music on tap (tailored for Miraine and I) & assistance with moving equipment around the space. I happily recommend this studio to you.

Had my first shoot in this studio on Sunday and was so impressed! Its a huge and full of amazing props and different sets to use. There is so much equipment and different things to use to create any style of shoot you're doing! Jim was really lovely and helpful and also made me several cups of tea (the man's a saint aha!)

Had a brilliant time and we got some awesome shots! Will hopefully be coming back here sometime!

I have now worked / used Hallam Mill I think on 8 occasions and I hope there will be many more. The main studio is brilliant and huge with lots of natural lights but there are studio lights should you need them. The studio was excellent anyway but is now even better that a second room has been opened up with an infinity background and other sets.

Jim is brilliant. He frequently gets really top notch models that us mere mortals would otherwise not get the chance to shoot with Ivory Flame, Rachelle Summers, Raphealla to name but 3 excellent models I have been able to work with that otherwise I don't think I would have stood a chance. He also occasionally offers networking / charity days. At other studios you can be falling over each other, not at Hallam Mill there is so much space these days are highly recommended aswell.

Jim is always there should you need a helping hand.

I did a studio day at Hallam Mill on Fri 8th after hearing lots of positive things about Hallam mill my expectations were high, I was not disappointed. What a fabulous studio with gorgeous natural light. There is a lovely big dressing room with everything you could need. Jim is so lovely and welcoming, I did not want for anything! He made sure I was fed and watered well and even though the studio is huge I was kept toasty warm the whole time. I will be shooting there again! If you get chance to shoot there DO!

Today i shot at Hallam Mill for the first time.

Jim was accesiable before we got there by phone for directions to the mill.

Before the shoot he set up for and was avilable for any questions and to move the lights ect.

Before the shoot began he made us tea and then left us unhindered to work.

The studio is very versatile and has an amazing steam of natural light pouring through the windows.

It has a great lighting system and various props.

I look forward to my next shoot there.

I did a studio day with Jim at the Hallam Mill. He was the most excellent host. He constantly made sure that we were all ok. He made an excellent cup of tea and walked around with a heater so I wouldn't get cold! He even gave us pizza to take home with us :)

The studio itself is very accommodating for both photographers and models. There are so many props that there is so much that could be done!

I am so grateful that Jim would host a studio day with me and hopefully we will be able to it again one day!

What can I say? We had a fantastic shoot, got a bunch of amazing images and are planning more- would definitely recommend. Jim has a spacious, well stocked studio with huge windows that are great for natural light, and he is both friendly and considerate of a model's safety and comfort :)

Visited Hallam Mill for the first time a couple of days ago for a group model shoot. The facilities were great, Jim was really helpful, the other guys were great and Faye the model was amazing.

I had a great night.

Can't wait to get back for another shoot.

I would really recommend Hallam Mill for any photographic shoot.

I've used Hallam Mill on a few occasions.

It is a great studio to use. The natural light options are ideal, with loads of space to utilise. The availability of different props, as well as plenty of lighting if required, make this is a great place for a varied shoot.

Jim is a great bloke, and is always happy to help out.

Highly recommend the studio.

Having seen a vast amount of images taken at Hallam Mill as well as being recommended there by a couple of photographers, I finally visited yesterday to see what the fuss was about. I used solely the natural light studio, though unfortunately it was a rather dismal day so I had to use some softboxes to fill in the shadow. That aside, it's a truly wonderful location with an incredible variety of props and furniture.

The hidden gem of Hallam Mill however lies with studio owner Jim, who is a downright lovely chap. He's there on hand at a moment's notice to help out whenever needed and is happy to make all sorts of suggestions.

Now I know firsthand how much is possible in the studio, I'm looking forward to booking a second shoot there to really make the most of it. Very highly recommended.

I had a great studio day at Hallam Mill - it is a huge space filled with natural light.

Full of props, lighting equipment & so much stuff to even create your own sets!

Jim is also a fabulous host, always by the kettle and on hand when necessary.

I thoroughly enjoyed working at Hallam Mill and highly recommend it.

Did a studio day at Hallam Mill. Jim was a great host and is a lovely guy in general. Sold out which was great! The studio itself is huge and full of everything you could want from a studio- space, light, props, allsorts! Even has a huge changing area! I really appreciate the effort Jim made to sell the day and look after everybody and myself.

This is my number one studio National wide !

I have been working at HallamMill studio n-th times in the last few years and it's truly amazing in every bit!

This studio is fantastic with it's enormous open space, beautiful natural light coming from the huge windows, rustic, moody and very soft at the same time atmosphere, which is perfect for variety of styles to shoot.

I absolutely love this studio and it has the best host Jim ever, who cares for models comfort at the highest level, always helpful, very well organized with great communication.

I highly recommend HallamMill studio to everyone and hope to come back to shoot there soon again !

I worked at a shoot yesterday at Hallam Mill. The appeal of the studio is that it is a disused mill, and the whole building is steeped in character. the shoot was great; we got lots of natural light, great backgrounds for the picters - it's really goos and I'd recommend it to anyone.

I had my first shoot at Hallam mill today on a group night and it was a fantastic night I felt welcomed and well looked after on the shoot. The studio is well equipped and the model changing and make up areas were great. I hope to shoot there again soon. Highly recommended.
