Coming from a film and video background I love to shoot low light black and white. Always looking to expand my skills and horizons and happy to shoot anyone looking to build their portfolio.
I love low key Photography, particularly because I like to paint with light, telling a story with light and shadow. I’m very much a subscriber to the less is more methodogy. I design images that provokes and emotion, be it implied, art or erotic taking the viewer on a journey. I’m a lighting junkie and always wanting to try new lighting technique.
I'm happy to shoot location or at my film studio. Photography is all about telling a story, for me I approach this method by ensuring every part of the image is thought out and carefully crafted. I’m also looking to collaborate on larger projects with other photographers.
As photography is part of my business I work for paid commisons. I also pay to work with models on a range of image concepts I wish to explore, shooting predominately portrait, art nude and erotica. I will always request a model release form to be signed by all models that I work with, along with a receipt of payment. I have a 35 mile radius travel payment rule, any model who travels to me out side of the 35 mile radius will have their travel expenses covered. Payment is always paid on the day of shoot. I do not pay in advance of a shoot simply because too many photographers have been left out of pocket.
For TFP, I believe in a fare trade so that everyone walks away with great images for their own self promotion and port. Every collaborator, Model or MUA will be remunerated with a set 10 - 15 of finished images for their own port. I do not release raw incompleted images. A model release form also need to be signed from TFP
I have a lot of shoot experience so I’m happy to work with first timers, novices, semi pros and full time talent. The main drive is to design, photograph and produce the best image possible, I’m always wanting to grow and experiment with my images, it’s about self exploration as much as skills exploration, the day I stop learning is the day I stop photographing.
