References for Gaurav Khapekar Photography

Due to this crazy world we now live in with social distancing I had a virtual "lockdown remote" shoot with Gaurav the other day and it was so much fun! We worked through various different ideas using both my camera and his, various backdrops and props and even included my dog in a few shots as well, all through Skype!!

He talked me through settings on my camera as well as directed me where needed to achieve the shots he wants and I have sent them over for editing so I can't wait to see the final results!! :D

Thank you once again for a fab virtual shoot, and I look forward to working with you again some time either in person or virtually I really don't mind! Highly recommended from me! :)

Had a great first shoot with Gaurav on Saturday. He has done amazing ideas - knows exactly what he wants, but equally happy to let you get on and do your thing. He’s very friendly and relaxed - works quickly and gets some really beautiful results - loved working with him - and would definitely work with him again.

I think this shoot may have been our best one yet! I always love working with Gaurav, and every time I do I think he just surprises me with how much better he is (both technically and creatively). And he was already pretty darn good to begin with! This time, I had the pleasure of hosting him at my flat, and even though he had a bumpy ride getting there, he showed up ready to create some magic. We got tons of images and lots of variety in quite a short amount of time thanks to some really great teamwork.

The edits so far (as always) are amazing and very portfolio-worthy, Gaurav's post-processing game is stronggggg.

Thanks so much Gaurav, please say here in London so we can shoot lots and lots!

Another amazing shoot with Gaurav! This time we shot an autumnal themed shoot in Holland Park, and Gaurav came up with some really awesome ideas to fit our theme.

Gaurav was clear in his previous comms so I knew exactly what outfits to bring, and on the day he gave clear direction if he had a particular idea in mind!

It’s always a pleasure working with Gaurav, if you haven’t worked with him yet then you’re missing out! 100% recommended, can’t wait to see the final images! :)

Had an awesome second shoot with Gaurav - this time at Tichbourne studio. We worked through a lot of different sets including some gels which were awesome in their results!

Another shoot down with Gaurav and what a day it was! We did a collaboration with a designer and a MUA. Pre-coms were great and we had a clear idea of what the team wanted to achieve. Gaurav has so many awesome ideas and gives great direction but is also open for other ideas and poses. I would highly recommend Gaurav!!! Such a talented and down to earth guy!!

Another reference for Gaurav - I’ve lost count of the amount of shoots we’ve done together now!

We had been planning a diner themed shoot for a while, and Gaurav’s pre comms were excellent. I knew exactly what make up and clothes to wear on the day to match the theme nicely.

It’s always a pleasure to work with Gaurav, one of my favourite photographers to work with and I love the images I’ve seen so far! Looking forward to our next shoot, highly recommended! X

Finally got the chance to work with Gaurav!

I have seen a lot of his images floating around through social media and they always looked so incredible! So was very exited to get the opportunity to work with him.

Our shoot was on the 24th and the images he shot were absolutely beautiful. He was very easy to talk to and everyone in the studio enjoyed themselves!

I would 100% recommend Gaurav! His work is breathtaking and it was such a pleasure to work with him!

I had been planning a particular beauty shoot for a while, and I was so glad that Gaurav was on board to help me with it!

This was my first beauty shoot with Gaurav (we had always done fashion previously) so it was great to work in a different environment together! Gaurav knee how exactly to work the lighting and really make our images stand out :)

As always, Gaurav was a pleasure to work with, he came up with some really creative ideas in terms of posing and after seeing some of the images I couldn’t be happier! 100% recommended!

Fantastic shoot!

Gaurav is exceptionally creative, has a great eye for natural backgrounds and colours - the theme of this shoot was definitely colour! Shots on the back of the camera were unreal and I love how much variety we worked through in a pretty small area! Very easy person to work with a great positive energy :)

Already got the next one planned (yay!) and I absolutely love the edit I've already seen - thank you for a fantastic shoot

I had my first shoot with Guarav at central London which was truly fun! :)

Guarav is so well organised and knew exactly what he was doing at all times ensuring that we get the best shots!

We had lots of laughs, coffee, chatts while exploring the Regent Park which was wonderful.

Guarav is such a lovely, easy going, fun, kind man yet professional in what he does.

I truly appreciate his amazing efforts in creating beautiful creative images with me and I definitely recommend him to everyone!! I'm truly grateful for the results.

Always an absolute pleasure working with Gaurav. I have worked with him on multiple occasions and it’s always a great day. He had a full day yesterday and never ran out of steam. He attended both a workshop and a 1-1 tuition with myself and Chris Conway on location and have an information overload but took it all in his stride. It’s so lovely to see someone so keen to learn and improve their skills with their passion and it’s becoming very evident in his port and paying off. He is fun to be around, respectful and produces wonderful images so I’m excited to see what he produces from the day. I know we will work together on more occasions in the future and highly recommend him to others who are lucky enough to have the chance to work with him. Gaurav is wonderful to work alongside, he has creative ideas and is a great photographer. Our most recent shoot was quite last minute as it had a publication deadline, and even with less prep time Gaurav came prepared and full of ideas!

After wanting to work with Gaurav for a while as I've been admiring his work for some time I was so excited to finally get the chance to and I was not disappointed in any way. We decided to wonder through London and go to various locations that he had in mind and even found a few extras along the way, in amongst popping into various cafe's or restaurants for a few outfit changes to mix things up a bit. I also got a few shots with Marcus as well as he came along with me (otherwise I would have honestly got lost!!) and Gaurav was great at getting some duo shots of us together as well as focusing on the shoot we personally had planned as well which was great and I was already loving the images I was seeing on the back of the camera so I know they're going to be awesome!!

Thank you for a great shoot and I look forward to working together again, hopefully very soon!

Worked with Gaurav for the first time last weekend and it was so fun!! We had planned to shoot in London in the evening and he had sent me moodboards and ideas well in advance so I could come well prepared and know what to expect.

I shot with Gaurav on Thursday night after he asked me to be a model whilst he helped another photographer for his first model shoot.

After working with Gaurav together previously, it was great to work with him again in a slightly different setting! The location he chose had so many different places so it was fun to experiment with each area.

Gaurav had some great ideas and has even edited one of our photos already with a ‘magical’ effect! It’s always a pleasure working with Gaurav, his comms were great so I knew exactly what to bring, and he is just an all around friendly guy!

100% recommend, can’t wait till our next shoot and looking forward to seeing the images!

Amazing first shoot with Gaurav at Inspire Studios, Salisbury! Excellent precomms so I knew exactly what to bring and to expect from the shoot. He was practicing different lighting techniques and the back of camera pictures looked great! A lovely, friendly and funny chap- a high recommendation from me!

Ria Fantastic

I feel like Gaurav we go way back (he popped his solo-model cherry with me) haha. The thought he puts into each shot is awesome, and he often has props with which to do so. We crawled around London before ending out shoot in my natural habitat of Canary Wharf, which (since I live in the area) I know extremely well. Gaurav still managed to do something new, however, with locations I've used dozens of times. The BOCs were all great, and the first edit he's done is stunning!

It is always a pleasure working with Gaurav and I look forward to doing so again soon!
