I first started taking photographs when I was still at school, a very long time ago. When I left school and started to work a Pentax ME super camera was my very first purchase with my first wage packet.

I spent  many years taking photos of models in and out of studios. Then I became attached, and my money was diverted into a house, paying the bills and generally surviving.

Recently after spending four years nursing my ailing mother and a year without her, I felt that I needed to get a hobby again and photography was without doubt what I wanted to restart.

So after thirty years, of not doing one of the things that I enjoy most, I found this site. I have started to rebuy the equipment that I had to get rid of over the years and now I am again taking photos.

My goal is to carry on improving my art, relearn the black art of studio lighting and above all, start to enjoy myself. At this stage I have no plans to publish any of the photos but my ultimate dream would be to make some money out of this hobby, even if it is only a few quid.
