Had a lovely couple of days working with Alan while in Belfast. Alan is super accommodating, very kind and made me feel very comfortable and at ease. Me and Alan spoke a couple of times on the phone before my trip so I already knew we would get in great. Aside from being an all round great person to work with, he is a fantastic photographer and an expert with lighting. I was so impressed with the results from our shoot. He also spent a lot of time and energy creating the most amazing back drop for one of our shoots and I honestly couldn't have asked for more. I can't wait to work with him again and would recommend him to any model. I'll look forward to the next one!

I really enjoyed working with him on a great location in Northern Ireland. He brought me to an Abby near a graveyard & we were stealth shooting in great spots. I liked his artistic eye & our discussions. Thanks for showing me around & being bold/brave to try a concept I’ve been meaning to do for a while! Love the shots we got from the session. I’d for sure work with him again in future & he is one of the reasons I’m inclined to come back to the north. Thank you for being kind and respectful. I’ll keep you in mind when I have more remote shoots set ups available too!

We organized a remote photoshoot and everything was smooth: his indications are clear and he knows exactly what he wants to achieve at the end of the shooting.

I had my third remote shoot for Alan yesterday. His great pre-shoot communications allowed me to get a feel for what type of pictures he was looking for. I also got a mood board for creating images for him.

It was really great experience and fun to shoot for him. I really enjoyed creating images for Alan and I hope we created what he wanted.

Today on my tour to Essex, I had my second remote shoot for Alan. We planned it for a while, unfortunately Alan couldn't join and direct us today. But it didn't stop us to create some great images for him, utilising all available settings.

Alan is very creative individual with a clear passion for photography. Alan's pre-shoot communications were excellent, so it allowed me to get a feel for what type of pictures he was looking for.

I definitely wouldn't hesitate to work with him again in the future!

Naked Soul

I had remote shoot with Alan Yesterday . Before shoot He sent me light plan & Mood-board which was very helpful for me to set lights & ready with costume & makeup. We did half day shoot. Alan is very relaxed, Easy to communicate. he was as excited as I was to do the shoot and see the results. The Pictures look beautiful and I love them. He gives space to his model for their Ideas. He’s such a lovely person to work with.

He is Professional, kind, and polite during our session and. I really loved working with him and I hope we get to work together again. I would highly recommend him.

I had a great four hour remote shoot with the lovely Alan yesterday!

What an awesome person!! He was great with pre-comms! He was friendly, easy to get on with and professional!

We got some studio shots on the white backdrop and then off to upstairs using the headboard as a backdrop!

Thank you for a great shoot and I look forward to working with you again remotely or face to face when I travel to Ireland!!

This was actually our first shoot together, we had met previously and had something booked but alas that didn't work out so it was lovely to finally get the chance to work together!...

Alan was fabulous to work with, very relaxed, he also took the time to look at my remote set up and pick out some ideas using the information which was fabulous for prepping.

We shot fine art nude work and played around with props and lighting creating some gorgeous images!...

The whole shoot flew by, full of giggles, chats and creative shots!...

I highly recommend Alan both remotely and 1-2-1 and can't wait to work with him again!

What a shoot, what a knowledgeable man!

4 hours flew by in the remote presence of Alan.

He might have been in a different country but he took control of the lighting and set up down to the last detail and I was blown away with the results.

Remote shoot two is definitely on the cards but this is someone I'd also love to work in-person with (when times allow).

Hurray for getting to shoot with this absolute legend again!!! Honestly: when we were chatting at the start of our remote shoot the other day about how it was something like 3 years since we shot together... I was outraged! Darn you Covid! And darn you planet earth for not giving me more spins in the year to fit more Northern Ireland tours in!!! But all hail remote shooting for providing this glorious state-of-the-art means of working and creating with the very awesome fellow artists in this world as Alan! :D

When he popped me a message through I was well and truly over the moon to be catching up - plus knowing Alan’s passion and involvement in his shoots... I didn’t need a crystal ball to know this was going to be a productive one. :) Communications smooth and organised as ever: we chatted and planned to do wondrous things with crystal lingerie, focussing the shoot predominantly around that as a theme/styling - and using my more neutral studio space as the location for it. Alan was great and listed all the things he wanted to try to incorporate into the shoot - props and what-not/general items to set the scene. This enabled me to be as well prepared as possible because it is a lot more to think about on the models side when remote shooting and ensuring all the photography/studio equipment is good to go (as well as myself and the wardrobe). Alan’s approach, patience and understanding just makes everything that bit more relaxed and non-rushed as he’s just so easy-going and supportive in every way he can be.

Now the pictures we created? The pictures! Corrrr they were good! :P And I mean: OUTTA THIS WORLD! Anyone that doesn’t believe that they (as a photographer) could utilise the remote facility effectively to express their own self as a creative person needs to be following Alan’s page ready for some red hot edits... This gent KNOWS his stuff - he was on top of everything, from the specific positioning of the lights for the look he wanted, to creatively organising the set as per what he saw from his side to giving great feedback and bouncing off myself as we got into the flow of posing/shooting. With some of the additional temporary props I had in the studio - I ran a few suggestions by Alan (he always appreciates models giving input, very much so) and he just rooooodeeee with it! :D He was like: “yesss, and then we can do this/this and this too!” Like: the flow was just on that very best vibe imaginable! Teamwork firing up and seeing us through, and one extremely driven photographer/artist very much in his happy zone making things happen. Alan has always had a very fine eye for detail too - it shows consistently throughout his portfolios.

I mean - words alone cannot describe the blast we had! Even when you cannot be in the same room as amazing people; I’m just so grateful for Zoom and tethering magic providing that other dimension to go to such awesome places with colossal collaborative potential. It’s actually really nice to be able to see and speak to such friendly and upbeat souls too after the rollercoaster of a year we’ve all had. We got our chatterbox time in - that’s for sure. :P Nothing changed on that front haha! Alan was also extremely empathetic and actively allocated a mud shoot break entirely off his own back so we could grab tea and just 5 minutes recoup time. He’s the best!

So professional, and the kindest most respectful person you could meet in this life. Of course I highly recommend him - is that even up for question?!

What an amazing remote shoot I had with Alan!

Pre comms were excellent and the shoot flowed so so well I could have shot with him all day!

Alan is so patient, professional, respectful and considerate. This was definitely my favourite remote shoot. He is very talented and has such an artistic eye we created some lovely images together.

I really hope one day we can shoot in person.

Your fabulously artistic and the macro detailing you work to is hugely important to me too in an image, this is quite rare to find and I like this very much!

I had an amazing remote shoot with Alan at my home in Suffolk. Alan booked 4 hours and his pre comms were excellent and he knew how to plan the shoot efficiently so it flowed well within my space.

Alan was so relaxed, I loved it! It felt like we were just hanging out in the same room. Alan makes you instantly feel at ease and his passion for art and creating something shines through he brought his own unique twist to the images we shot.

I was nervous before our shoot but I shouldn’t have been and my shoot with Alan stands out as one of my most enjoyable remote experiences so far.
