I had an amazing first shoot with Russ at his studio, where he let me host studio day, which was so amazing. I really enjoyed working with him. We did a few different settings and also used the light wall which was my favourite!

Shot with Russ for the first time at his studio ‘Splash point studio’. Russ and his family were kind enough to let my Mother & I stay for the weekend whilst I shot with both Russ and a variety of other photographers on my model day.

It is clear from Russ’s portfolio how much of a talented photographer he is and it shows when working with him, he is very skilled at photographers and tried different lighting and lenses to achieve different images, from the back of the camera and what I’ve seen already they are brilliant!! Russ had a few imaginative ideas for the shoot which I brought along outfits to suit but we also let the shoot flow and got some cool shots.

Russ is a very fun and friendly guy and it is clear he is creative and likes to have a laugh during his work which is relaxing and refreshing for a model. I would definitely recommend working with him.

Another brief yet fun and quirky shoot with Russ! He was kind enough to house and feed me and even put up with me attacking him and trying to drown him all night at the party. I love his ideas and the work he produces is top class- highly recommended!

Had such a “sick” shoot with Russ.

We had great communication prior to the shoot, Russ has lots of great ideas of he wanted to shoot and was very friendly.

Russ very kindly treated me to a lay In !!!! And arranged a 12.00 start. On the day we were both really relaxed bouncing about throwing cool ideas around.

Russ was super creative, very friendly and very professional. He made me feel completely at easy and I trusted him to take my pictures.

The end result was a really relaxed fun day shooting some really cool images !

I’m so happy to have shot with Russ again after about 6 years! He is an amazing photographer and has great style. He even gave me my mini brush back after all this time that was apparently mine. It had short curly hairs in it though so he might have been using it as a pube brush. I hope to work with him again, highest recommendation from me.

Had my second shoot with Russ this was a fun-filled day of shooting of underwater aka trying not to look like I was drowning, chasing tiny rubber ducks round, getting shut in the steam room, a light under a bin and loads of waffle about funko's standard really

Russ is always fun to work and hang out with, we try out some mad ideas and have a laugh about some random stuff

I had the pleasure of a shoot with Russ at his brand new studio today.

I applied to his casting after his work caught my eye. Russ is a top photographer and the studio is beautiful. Warm clean and we'll equipped with lots of quirky props right up my street.

We didn't have alot of time after I got hopelessly lost en route but once I arrived and we had a nice cuppa we flew through 4 sets seamlessly. Russ is fantastic with his lighting and angles and gives great direction. The time flew and I really enjoyed myself. Highly recommended.

I had what will hopefully be the first of many shoots with Russ today.

I applied to his tf casting (which is not something I would not usually do) as I really loved the look of his page and the images he produced.

The shoot was amazing!! One of the best photographers I've worked with so far, he knew exactly what he wanted and gave really good clear direction. A complete professional!

I had so much fun on set, I hope I will get to shoot with Russ again soon and certainly recommend that you take the opportunity if it presents itself.

Worked with Russ for the third time and what can I say? I am always so happy with the images we create together! Russ is always full of ideas and creativity and he knows exactly how to capture them in his images. This time we worked together on a pole fitness themed photoshoot which allowed me to use my passion and love for pole dancing in a shoot along with Russ’ quirky vibe which has differentiated this series of images from my other pole dancing themed photoshoots. Can’t wait to work with you again!

HE IS AMAZING!

Honestly, if you are looking for a person with attention to detail, relaxed attitude, and many crazy and fun ideas- look no further. Russ is a great photographer, full of ideas and willing to experiment. In addition he's a fantastic person and a great company.

I wish him even more inspiration at his new house location and would love to work together again- be it if he's ever back in Birmingham or if paths cross elsewhere.

This is the 4th time i've done a shoot with russ and it was great as usual, we did a shoot with quirky patterns and he provided material for my nan to make an outfit with to go with the background and the results look amazing!

First thing you need to know is that Russ makes a great cuppa! Pre shoot comms were great, everything was set up when I got there and the clear instructions were appreciated as a newbie. Got some lovely alternative shots and would recommend for other models to shoot with.

Well what can I say about my little Russel bunny ;-D I thinks he may be nearly as mad as I am and that’s why we get on so well. I love his off the wall creative ideas and there’s certainly never a dull moment whenever I shoot with him, he is super organised and I am sure he has a minds eye images of exactly what he wants to achieve from the shoot. Sometime my eyes glaze over when he is explaining things but somehow we don’t need words to convey concepts, I just seem to know what’s needed of me, however my tea order is often work in progress (lol)

We’ve worked together sooooooo many times we know each other’s temperament, so much so we can dispense the niceties and connect in way that makes it easy to drift off into another dimension. I never know what quirky ideas Russ is going to come up with next, that’s why I always look forward to working with him.

One hundred percent recommend :-D you’ll most certainly have a blast...

Russ and I have been trying to plan a shoot for a while, waiting for a free days to come for both of us. He has been so patient all the time, we shared moodboards and he was happy to work with my ideas, adding his creative touch.

I have to say that I couldn't wait for the original day we planned, bought flowers for our idea and jumped on the bus after a whole day filled with bad luck right from the start of the morning. I managed to miss my bus stop and my phone died, while trying to contact Russ. I was so scared that after so much planning he'd be disappointed and never want to shoot with me again (I couldn't get in touch with him for 4-5 hours after to even update him on what happened with me). But he was most understanding and helpful and we rescheduled for next week.

We started with a couple of ideas, built our own flower frame, listened to Marina and the Diamonds for inspiration (I do love Marina, so happy he shared my enthusiasm about her music)and had a great couple of hours. Russ is one of those people, who "have the eye" for a shot- he knows what he wants and he spends time clearing every detail. The results- I've had one of the most productive sessions, with all the images being of exceptional quality. Could not be happier! And if you happen to work with Russ you'd see he's a combination of talent and creativeness.

If I could rate the profiles I'd give six out of five stars, not only for professionalism but for being a great human as well.
