References for Elektra77

OK so I have lost count of the number of times Elektra and I have worked together and every time we create something different. This time we were at JB Studios for a Halloween themed "Thru the lens" group night - two models, threes sets, five photographers. Lou came with a range of outfits suitable for Halloween and she was kept busy for four hours but created great images and as ever we had some fun. The final set was a duo girl girl set giving a whole new meaning to the ladies in red! She is happy to shoot free flow and poses with confidence. Our time passed quickly and it was time to say goodbye. Elektra is talking about giving up modelling at the end of the year and of course that is her right if she is ready to do so. I am sure we will have opportunities to shoot again before the year end and who knows what will happen in the new year. This shoot was as ever highly professional and I know everyone enjoyed our time together. Highly recommended but if you want to work with her you may have to be quick.

This shoot was more than special for many reasons.

The 1st being Elektra had asked me to shoot a Viking Queen theme and secondly, the fact this could possibly be the last time we work one to one together as Elektra plans to step away from modelling at the end of this year.

We have done so many shoots together now over the last 5 years and everyone bar none, has been terrific. 
They’ve all been so much fun and produced some great captures that I’ll be proud and happy with forever.

From art nude to fashion and themes, you just crushed them all.

I’ve also learned a lot too during this process that has made me a better photographer. Especially when shooting with models!

Thank you for that fact on it’s own Elektra.

I’ve felt I’ve been shooting with not just a model, but a very close and valued friend every time! 
This connection I’ll miss with you very much.

As a model alone, Elektra is so Professional. 
You won’t find more commitment from any model believe me. Her communications have always been excellent and prep way beyond what most models can even even think of aspiring to. I’ve never felt frustrated organising a shoot with you, not once.

This shoot was so amazing.

Elektra had wanted to do this one for months. But life got in the way for the pair of us, but we finally got there.

WE, captured so many amazing images we really did. And I think hit Elektra’s ideas and brief exactly as she hoped.

And if this is the last time we do this, well then we went out on a high for sure.

I obviously can’t recommend Elektra highly enough. If you new to model photography get in quick. She can help you so much.

I’m an ‘old dog’ as they say. I’ve been around a while, but even I learnt a few new tricks working with this amazing lady.

And if you get an opportunity to work with her before she retires from modelling completely, then I strongly recommend you grab that opportunity with both hands. Even you seasoned guys out there, that have yet to share a shoot with Elektra, should do so before that final curtain falls on this lady’s glittering career.

Thank you for everything Elektra. Not so much the images we’ve created, they’re great of course, but for mainly just being you. 
A lovely human with a warm and honest soul.

WE will stay in touch going forward as great friends and I’ll be making sure that happens no matter what.

You will be missed so much, not just by myself but by so many of the colleagues we share in this industry.

I wish you and you family all the best and hope once this is over, that life is kind as gives you back what you have given to so many others over the years.

EJM Studios

Well, Elektra and I have now shot together on numerous occasions. And without any doubt we will continue too.

This time I joined Elektra on her studio night held at JB Studios, Benfleet, Essex. (Details available here on PP)

As always her communications prior to the shoot were faultless.

I suggested that we did a mix of 2 themes during our time on the night.

The first, a smart modern, but edgy fashion shoot and the next, our own take on the character Sandy form the Movie Grease.

What can I say, Elektra, picked up quickly on the ideas and just ran with both of them.

She was wonderful as Sandy. That mixture of a feminine but with that slight domination look as seen in the final stages of the film.

Just brilliant it really was. Such a fun shoot, not too serious and through both sets, Elektra just flow posed through it all with ease.

Elektra over recent years has proven to be a true, trusted and fun close friend. I feel very lucky to have developed such a bond with her and every time we work together I am grateful for.

So, if your looking for a model who has fun doing what she does, capable of doing so many styles and themes, comes prepared, ready to go for it from the start and have great images following the shoot, then look no further. Great for the novice and the experienced photographer.

I've shot with Lou so many times now over the years that I've lost count, always good to have a catch up and a chat. Lou always turns up with plenty of outfits etc and I always get the shots I want.

Would recommend her to anyone.

We've shot many times but this was first after almost a year. Always fun, chatty and easy to get along with and endless enthusiasm means the time whistles by.

We shot variety of sets but always get happily diverted as both chip in ideas.

Won't leave it as long next time.

It has been a long time since we shot in a hotel so it was good to be back. It's a great location for boudoir but we use all areas of the room to best advantage. As ever Elektra arrived with a good selection of outfits and we picked a few to work with. As ever we had a laugh and a good catch up and of course created great images in 4 different sets. I was lucky enough to be the first to shoot Elektra in her new blonde wig which created a very different look. I was reminded that the first time we shot together she was blonde and I have probably lost count of how many other colours she has had since then. She poses with ease and generally without the need for direction but responds well when direction is offered. Our time together passed quickly but having reviewed the images together, we were very happy with what we created. Highly recommended as ever and our next shoot is already booked.

Elektra and I shot together at Aztec Studios. The general theme was a nun and as agreed in pre-shoot comms Elektra arrived with her nun's outfit, cross and other paraphernalia. Lou had other outfits so we produced a few different sets. She posed with confidence making the most of being a nun. It was good fun as always we talked about shooting again in an hotel as we had not done that for a while so plans in place already for our next shoot. Highly recommended - you will not be disappointed.

Well normally I am a lover of location shoots but the day of our shoot the weather forecast was predicting temperatures around 40 so at the last minute Elektra managed to secure us a studio with fans. So a change of location and ideas of what to shoot but as ever Elektra arrived well prepared with a range of outfits to choose from. We did a number of different sets at different levels and Elektra is very comfortable free flowing. We had a laugh and our time together passed quickly but the bonus was that we went to the pub for a couple of cooling drinks to finish our time together, Another great shoot with plans in place for next time.

AS ever highly recommended to photographers of all levels.

Elektra is a firm favourite amongst our studio community. She is full of energy, positivity and is great to be around. Always early, fully prepared and has lots of creative ideas as well as an awesome wardrobe. Elektra is very versatile and can switch her expressions and pose quickly. She is amazing at taking direction but also can free flow pose with ease. Elektra is highly recommended from the perspective of both a studio owner and also a photographer. She is always welcome at JB Studios x

If seen Lou’s reference about me will know this shoot was one been planning for a while and as always was well planned and organised just not had a date then it popped up hence why not on my calendar lol.

This was to be a shoot with Lou and her Daughter for a kinda alternative goth mother daughter theme and it worked really well.

As always had a great laugh and natter while shooting. Lou helped me get her daughter to enjoy her time and we got some really nice images can’t wait to do it again lol

My first shoot with this lovely lady, I was given the opportunity to shoot my first soft duo with her at Burford Manor by Andy Twick photographer. We shot a selection of lingerie, posh frocks and sheer in the house finishing with some fun shots in the barn.

I found Lou to be such a friendly respectful lady who has a great eye for poses and how we could best work together. She was also concerned that I was completely happy with all that we were shooting as this was my first duo and we had a lot of giggles throughout.

I'm very much looking forward to another shoot with Lou as we have agreed we would like to shoot together again.

One more great shoot with Elektra, a duo set arranged with Ruthie22 at Burford Manor.

Great location and two lovely models to work with, covering everything from lingerie to countryside chic via posh gowns - what's not to like.

We had plenty of chat, the 4 hours flew by, everyone felt happy chipping in with ideas for shots and a thoroughly enjoyable time.

I had 2 Hours of a Studio Evening with this Gorgeous Lady, we were shooting Sheer Levels and she performed faultlessly throughout our time together..

The chemistry was on fire, as if we both knew what the next move should be..

I am super happy with what we achieved in the short space of time that we spent together, Elektra has already posted an Image from our shoot.

Elektra was kind enough to extend her model evening by an hour in order to accommodate a shoot with me and I'm so glad she did. It was the first time we'd shot together and it was an excellent experience in all aspects.

The theme was "sheer" and Elektra had a number of outfits with her which she was happy to wear for the shoot. She was very patient while I experimented with different lighting ideas and also contributed ideas of her own.

A relaxed, positive experience throughout and I will definitely be shooting with her again.

Another shoot with Lou and as ever we had a great time creating memories. A hotel shoot over a longer period gave us the chance to chill and chat whilst also capturing great images. I have spoken so many times about Lou's skills as a model and do not see the need to repeat that so all previous comments apply to this shoot.

We did shoot a mixture of fashion, lingerie and levels and had a laugh. We work and socialise together so a shoot is always a great opportunity to catch up.

We have spoken about our next shoot which weather permitting, will be something different, but working with Lou is never samey!

Highly recommended to all photographers - newbies to experienced! You won't be disappointed.

Yet another superb shoot.

Pre shoot comms with Elektra77 were superb, we had been planning this shoot since our last one but dates had been difficult on my part, Electra77 saw superb and understanding about this. We had shared a few shoot moodboards and were on the same path.

On the day Electra77 turned up on time makeup ready, and a short time later we were in the flow of it, I have to say that given the 1st shot is one of my faves the planning was well worth it.

Once we had done the Marionette idea we had talked about we shot a few other ideas and also got great images, Electra77 was superb throughout posing without guidance but happy to take guidance to get the right image and feel.

Superbly chilled to work with and we are on the same wave length.

I can't wait to shoot again, and would highly recommend.

One of the questions above asks if she turned up, this is a given, you can not only guarantee that Lou will turn, she will turn up ready to shot. Hair and make-up done to a high standard and along with this, she brings a bright and bubbly personality. You could not meet a nicer person.

As for her modelling, it is amazing, she is intuitive, can work on her own or will take direction well.

She takes her art very seriously and you are guaranteed great images, her fun sense of humour creates a very relaxed atmosphere where you can create numerous looks.

Lou is highly recommended both for new and experienced photographers, she is the ideal model

Well been talking about doing a shoot and how I found a location for a shoot then we got talking and said you free today.

Again Lou is so great to work with she goes with a theme then adds her little magic to it.

As always had great convo laughs with the odd hand creeping up in places no living thing would want to be lol

What more to say.

Consistently reliable, good friend, great fun and a lovely lady all round.

We managed to break away from catchup tea & chat and got down to the discussed shoots.

Not sure what it is but it works, as always. Time hurtles by, plenty of laughs and confidence between us shows in the shots we aim for...and hopefully get.

Cannot recommend highly enough.
