I loved shooting with Darren at The Clocktower, he has a really arty insight to photography as well as being intuitive about angles and framing. The images we captured are beautiful and in one of my favourite finishes - monochrome - yay :D

I am so so so glad Darren and I got to work together. You know there are few that really touch your heart and Darren was one of them. (I’ll get to the photography bit in a minute - this needs a mention!!) To come across a genuine human being can be a rarity, when you find one, you just know. You don’t have to over think, you don’t have to explain yourself and you instantly feel comfortable in their company.

ok ok, so on top of all of that…he truly is a fantastic photographer!! I don’t say this lightly. What he see’s in terms of lighting and composition is a passion that he has focused on and grown in, it was delightful to be part of his genius ideas.



Back of the camera shots are like….what!!! We were so pleased! Cannot wait to see the finished products, but furthermore, cannot wait to shoot with Darren again.

I've worked with Darren before having him known him for a long time from the cosplay circuit and every time we work together is amazing. Darren is one of the most incredibly talented photographers you could wish to work with and also a fabulous person.

Working with him has made me a better model in terms of learning what poses produce the results that are in my head. His comms, direction, ideas and images are all top notch!

Darren and I shot together at a local lake on a beautiful sunny evening to catch the last bit of light. Instantly we got on like a house on fire and knew exactly what we wanted from the shoot. His precomms were brilliant and was an absolute gem to work with. I couldn't be happier with the images he has produced and I really look forward to working with him again.

Had an absolutely fantastic shoot with Darren today! Pre shoot comms were spot on, professional and concise, with a moodboard too which always helps. Arrived on time and very friendly and laid back guy. We shot most of the afternoon with a few tea breaks and going over ideas. Some very creative shots were taken and I can’t wait to see them. Felt very comfortable and safe around Darren. Already talking about future projects - excellent.

Thank you Darren for a great first shoot, as it happens it is also one of my last ones and I am very pleased to have been able to show you how I work with erotica. You certainly did it justice.

I knew his editing skills would do it justice, and after a phone call we agreed to shoot.

Darren is full of energy, very dynamic and goes with the flow. My flow of all flows and that is not a given. He is humble and happy to share ideas for angles or interpretations.

Thank you Darren for letting me pick a few shots for you to edit to be able to share those on my journey. They are great edits. Having seen the entire shoot on dropbox it was very hard to pick just a dozen. Which means you did my posing justice and have a very good eye.

This was my 3rd shoot with Darren and as always I am blown away. He never fails to make me feel completely comfortable throughout the whole shoot and always checks to make sure I am never feeling uncomfortable at any point. You can really tell that Darren puts the models feeling first.

Darren's experience really shows throughout the shoot as he truly knows how to pose the model to capture their best angles creating amazing images because they have even touched the editing process.

If I could I would work with Darren on a regular basis as there is no end to what he can create! Highly recommend!

A lovely person who I always feel really comfortable around, it's great to catch up every time we have a shoot. He has a very creative eye and is a natural with the camera, I always love what I see on the back of the camera during a shoot! It was a pleasure to do a pregnancy shoot with him as it's such a special time and I think we captured some great shots, he also made sure I was comfortable throughout which I really appreciated considering the big old bump!

Wow.. it has been at least 8 years since Darren and I last worked with each other so it was a great pleasure to meet up and shoot with him again. He's a superb photographer, yet joined us on our Toulouki & Simone Lighting Outside The Box workshop at the Hacienda on Friday. He was very much a valued member of the group!

Darren has always been a delight to know - he's not just talented in his field, but also great conversation and respectful with a great sense of humour. He's totally on the same creativity wavelength too.. always highly recommended!

I had a wonderful Gordy shoot with D Rowley Photography. He is an amazing and talented photographer with a real eye for a great shot. Full of ideas and to top it off he is an awesome person. Fantastic with the comms before the shoot. Together we worked out exactly what we wanted to attempt (even if we went a bit off plan haha) and he encouraged me to voice my thoughts and ideas :) from the back of camera images I got to see I know there were loads of amazing images.

We got on like a house on fire! He truly is a lovely person and so much fun and I am already looking forward to our next shoot!!

I had a great time shooting with Darren on Wednesday, he was radiating positive vibes from the minute he greeted me from the car!

I was surprised at how much we had in common and we got along like a house on fire. We worked at a comfortable place, stopping for tea and lunch too. 4 hours flew by super quick :)

Images at the back of the camera looked pretty impressive so I have high hopes for what they will look like once retouched. Overall a great photographer and lovely person, would definitely shoot again.

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Darren on a clothing shoot; he is a great guy and very talented photographer who gives clear direction, yet allows freedom for independence and creativity. We did a catalogue shoot together that, despite having the potential to be a tedious few hours (due to the nature of modelling blank clothes) was a huge amount of fun and a very fond memory.

I look forward to working with Darren again in an environment that allows him to further explore his creativity.
