We had a fun and creative shoot, using a variety of props and costume, and he was fantastic as a director alongside me freestyling a number of poses too. Super respectful and funny. I had the pleasure of shooting with Barry again recently at his home studio and it was so lovely to catch up with him and his wife Jan and see the two dogs again :) Pre-comms were great, I knew what to bring and details for the day. Every shoot with Barry is different and fun and I love wearing the outfits and costumes he provides and using the variety of props he has. We managed to fit in several different looks in the time we had and I had a blast! Barry shoots at a relaxed yet productive pace and the photos I’ve seen are amazing! Barry even kindly gifted me a calendar and painting he did of me from one of our previous shoots. I highly recommend Barry to others. He’s such a kind, professional, respectful and creative gentleman and Jan is so welcoming and lovely too! A thoroughly enjoyable shoot start to finish. Thank you :D

I worked with Barry today for the first time and what a delight it was! Booking the shoot was done with complete ease and sorted very easily! Communications were fab from start to finish. Barry and his lovely wife Jan met me at the station and I instantly felt comfortable and at ease. We shot in Barry’s home studio which is lovely and clean and warm and plenty of refreshments too! You are treated absolutely wonderfully and with the utmost respect. Barry is professional, polite and so respectful. He is a very talented artist he showed me some of his beautiful paintings and he took some really gorgeous photos too! Barry was a pure delight to work with so friendly and chatty and relaxed I thoroughly enjoyed every minute! Wholeheartedly recommend working with Barry! And I truly to hope I can return again soon! Thanks Barry!

It was a pleasure to meet dreambhug, his wife and two lovely dogs. We communicated well and organized the photoshoot in advance. Dreambhug was respectful, polite and offered good direction during the photoshoot. It was nice to see his artwork and enjoy listening to music. I recommend working with dreambhug if you have an opportunity to!

So lovely to see Barry and Jan again after such a long time, although it instantly felt like just the other day that I last saw them both, and their adorable little dogs too which I just HAD to say hello to of course!! :D

Jan was amazing and gave me tea and biscuits, which was so kind of her! Barry was his usual charming self, lots of chatting and laughs throughout for us both and got some lovely photos too. I love how creative Barry is, always thinking of different ideas he wants to try and I'm always amazed by the images he comes back with after playing around with them and adding items into them, and the artwork he does is always stunning... I still have various pieces he's done of me from the past around my house and I'm very much looking forward to seeing more from him too.

Thank you for a wonderful start to my day, and I very much look forward to the next shoot... let's just try not to make it so long until the next one this time haha!! :D

I had the joy of meeting Barry and Jan today at their home on the edge of the South Downs, which happens to be an area which holds some very special memories from my teenage years.

Barry is the epitome of a gentleman, always respectful, courteous and considerate. An artist as well as a photographer, he has a very creative eye and instinctively knows when an outfit is flattering or an image concept will work. Conversation flowed effortlessly, laughter was abundant, and on top of all that we created several sets of excellent images. Thank you for such a delightful afternoon.

It was an absolute pleasure to work with Barry again recently at his lovely home studio. I felt welcome and comfortable as soon as I stepped into the front door and I had cups of tea while I was there (a yummy chocolate biscuit too :P). Barry was prepared and had printed several pages of pictures depicting different poses which I could use for inspiration and ideas. Barry is professional, respectful and super creative. The shoot was a lot of fun as I got to dress up and use props. Barry's wife Jan is really lovely too and she arrived half way through our shoot - it was great to catch up briefly after so long! Honestly, they are the sweetest and most loveliest couple you'll ever come across! The photos I saw on the back of the camera were amazing. Barry kindly gave me a present of a calendar he'd made using photos from our previous shoot along with some wonderful paintings he'd done of me. I thoroughly enjoyed my shoot and it was so lovely to see Barry and Jan again after so long. Thank you again :)

Had a fantastic shoot once again with Barry, both himself and his wife are such lovely people and always happy to accommodate for the model with tea and biscuits!

We worked through various sets and Barry’s paintings always amaze me, he has such great talent both behind the camera and with the effects he adds in after as well as his drawing and painting techniques.

I look forward to working together again at some point soon and as always would highly recommend. :D x

I worked with Barry recently whilst I was on tour and had an absolute BLAST! Barry is such a FUN, endearing and kind character! It was our first time working together, so I am always a little nervous but with Barry needn't have been as he is so welcoming, hospitable and a true gentleman.

Barry had a fantastic home studio set up in one of the spare rooms and lots of props to use which were quirky and great fun! Its impossible to shoot with Barry and not to smile! The shoot was very memorable and I left grinning from ear to ear! Actually in parts my cheeks hurt!

Barrys wife Jan is a sweetheart and it was such a pleasure to work in their home.

I would absolutely LOVE to work with Barry again and really hope to be back in the future. Highly recommended to all, thankyou for being so kind, Helen x

I shot with Barry for the first time last month at Ollie’s studio and had such a fun and interesting shoot.

Barry was such a character, super chatty and made me laugh lots throughout our shoot. The shoot was relaxed and enjoyable.

He also kindly let me have some chocolate biscuit things, which were lovely! Shouldn’t really have them, but couldn’t resist.

He also came prepared with a few outfits and is an extremely talented artist. What I liked most about Barry is that he doesn’t take himself too seriously.

Definitely a shoot to remember!

I have been lucky enough to work with Barry and Jan for many years now, at their wonderful home studio in East Sussex... Right from the word go you feel at ease, and just know that this is going to be one of those occasions where work is going to be super fun as well as productive!

They have a fantastic range of props, and whenever we work together we always bounce around some great ideas between us... Some of these even resulting in Barry's awesome artwork as you can see!

Had my second shoot with Barry today this time at Ollie’s Studio in Polegate and just as last time it was such a great shoot! We had a rough idea what we wanted to achieve beforehand and we used various props as well as the different outfits I brought alony myself. He even showed me the paintings/drawings he did of me and they are amazing, a man of many talents!!

And what makes him one of the favourite artists/photographers I’ve ever worked with is that he brought me along some cakes, cannot go wrong with that!

I had such an awesome shoot with Barry and Jan today - Wonderful people both with an excellent sense of humour and who know how to take a great photo! They both made me feel very welcome from the word go and create a lovely atmosphere to work in. I had the pleasure of working with Barry at his home studio for the first time and it was such a delight! He even had the most delicious cakes and a cup of tea for me as well in between and I met his lovely wife briefly as well.
