* Just to let you know, I lost both my zero hour contract day jobs back in August due to the you-know-what, so that means not so much cash for booking models for shoots. That doesn't prevent TF shoots, I can always do those. *
I've been a photographer for some time now, started out whilst I was at the University of North London. I was a social photographer for student events and shot some outside events that were held at the university's Rocket Club in Holloway, London. I then moved on to try out portraits, glamour, fashion, figure and erotic photography, which has got me published by Great Northern Publishers. My work has appeared in a book they produced, Jade: The Ultimate Collection and it was also used in the October 2004 issue of their magazine, oddly enough, also called Jade. They used my work in the September 2008 edition as well. It's an erotic arts and literature title. Have done corporate/promotional shoots and shot the image for Bromley and Sheppards College 2015 Christmas card. I also shoot architecture, cityscapes and landscapes. I was selected to have some of my work exhibited at the Cherry Orchard Arts Fair in 2012, which was held in Croydon.
Have mainly been involved in Burlesque since 2008, have covered events in the London Burlesque Festival since 2008 and I was the Photographer in Residence for The Glitter Room, promoted by DJ Suave, which ran from June 2009 to June 2010. Have also covered a fledgling Burlesque show, Oh My Cabaret, that ran from September to December 2014.
I shoot primarily on film, then scan my films after processing, I use very little digital manipulation on my work, other than correcting/adjusting for brightness, contrast and colour casts. Film stock I usually use is Fuji colour, both C41 and E6, as well as Ilford and Agfa black and white, which I also process myself. Also have my own lighting equipment, which I can bring along to (indoor) shoots, though bear in mind I have to use public transport, as I don't drive.
Have a few personal art projects in the pipeline I'm working on at the moment (well, as soon as I'm back in work and have an income again), as well as trying to get my work out there and recognised.
