I had my first shoot with Simon recently, we had spoken about doing a dust and dance shoot which I have always wanted to do. I am not a dancer or a gymnast so was a little nervous but after a couple of shots I was spinning jumping and literally throwing flour over the walls, doors and well I don't know, it got everywhere! Sorry about that Simon.

The shoot went smoothly, starting with beauty shots to warm up and get to know each other then some wind swept hair with the help of Kieran holding an electric fan :) We finished the last few hours with the dance and dust shoot, which was soo much fun!!

The space Simon uses is nice, big, clean and warm. It isn't a studio more so a large hall space with a kitchen and all the facilities needed. Simon brought along a large grey backdrop, a huge array of lights, soft boxes and more, before long you would think the studio had always been there with professional equipment and the stage set and ready for the shoot.

All in all a wonderful afternoon spent and I loved every second of it! Thank you Simon for the invitation to shoot and I am looking forward to seeing more of the results, from what I seen on the back of the camera I loved what we created :)

I finally had the pleasure of working with Simon today after not being able to quite catch each other and it was certainly worth the wait, I had a lovely time!

Simons been so understanding and welcoming to me despite having had slight blips physically, needing to reschedule and cut down the time shooting, which really meant a lot to me! Nothing was made awkward and I felt really accommodated. He made sure I was feeling okay and comfortable through the time we had shooting, which was really appreciated.

Prior to the shoot, Simon had 3 looks he wanted to go for in mind so we discussed what to bring to prepare for these, we shot a darker look, a high-key look & a look with a red dress.

I knew exactly what to expect, what to bring & how to look, which was perfect! Nothing was left to surprise.

On the shoot Simon was extremely professional, the way he conducted the shoot was really thorough and he really showed a lot of skill behind the lens.

The lighting was absolutely flawless, he spent time to make sure it was perfect and it really showed in the final images, it looked spot on!

I think Simon is a genuinely lovely, inspiring & professional photographer who really goes the extra mile for his shoots and to ensure the model is happy. It warms me to know Simon is happy with the images and the shoot as I realise how hard he works to capture them. :)

I don’t have a bad word to say about the shoot or Simon in any way, & I would definitely be more than happy to work with him again!

First shoot with Simon and straight away he was very welcoming and made me feel comfortable. He was very professional and he was always making sure he was getting a great shot each time eg make sure lighting was not bleaching me out or making me look too much like a shadow also great guidance and ideas was flowing and then we ran out of time but great fun and I would highly recommend.

I felt completely comfortable, he was really easy to work and get along with, we got plenty of variation of images and worked with some last minute plans that had to be changed due to location problems. He explained a lot of things about lighting and camera use so I learned something too. 😊 The images turned out brilliantly. We did dance jump positions which is hard to catch on the right time, but he did just perfectly. Very enjoyed our shoot together and I'm sure we will work together again! Very highly recommended!

Simon and his wife were extremely friendly, a great laugh to be around. They're just pure legends. I would definitely recommend you to work with them. I felt comfortable and relaxed, and was shown great hospitality- even though it was a location shoot.

After planning with shooting with Simon for a while, it was an absolute pleasure shooting with him. We had planned a rock chick theme shoot which I was extrememly excited about and after seeing Simon's portfolio I was more than certain that we would collaborate well together and he will create some amazing images. Simon was both helpful and creative with the planning process, so when we started shooting, we knew exactly what we both wanted to achieve. On arrival Simon was undeniably welcoming, warm and relaxed. Simon was very professional in every sense, he allowed me to be creative with poses and gave such positive feedback whilst shooting which always makes a model pose more effectively. Simon made me laugh on many occasions which I believe is a very important thing. Simon is clearly a talented photographer whose intentions are on getting the most stunning and professional images. I would 100% recommend Simon for a multitude of great reasons- but mainly for the fact that he is the perfect combination of a gifted photographer and a lovely guy. I adore the images he has created so far and cannot wait to see more. Shoot with him!!

Simon and I worked with Jess Mua at a shoot in belper at the creative holistic space we went for two looks.... First capturing my ballgown which is a deep purple this was fantastic and so much fun again Simon made me feel really comfortable and I really got in to this to top it off the pictures are fab... Followed by the second half whic we went for a clown shoot. I had never done anything of the sort before so I was very nervous but Simon made it really fun and enjoyable and I have to say some of the images are my favourite to this day! It was fabulous Simon does a great job and also sends you the edits you really should stop and work with him :) thanks Simon see you at our next one

For another shoot I did with Simon was a the pit studio! We managed to capture some great images using natural light and he did fab again! He is always so happy and so talkative a really good guy to work with I can not fault him in anyway!!!

For our next shoot we went for a dark look using Jess as our Mua again and she also created a fabulous head peice! This shoot was a Sutton Scarsdale hall and worked so well, I tell you Simon has really help me bring my confidence along and every time I am stuck or need abit of help he has been there helping we work really well as a team and I believe he could work with anyone he is so down to earth and the images are fantastic :)

We had time left near the end so we went around doing a natural shoot in my normal clothes just to see if we could capture anything decent and of course Simon succeeded he is truely fab!

My first shoot with Simon was last year at elvaston castle, I was very nervous about going but when I got there he made me feel totally comfortable he is so friendly and really makes you laugh so that you can relax and just get on and have fun; he helped me out when I needed it and was all round excellent! This shoot is the first of this year we have done together as Simon had told me about afew group shoots to help me with my confidence further.

This shoot I would say is my favourite as all we have really come along and sused how good we can make an image!! We have so many excellent ones. And I felt so much more relaxed we had a really good time and I highly reccomend Simon! I am deffinatley shooting with him again

after knowing of Simon for some time but never actually managing to match diary's I finally got to shoot with him today. He was a delight! really easy to work with and knew what he wanted from me ( not sure I delivered lol). We were on location at a group shoot and he was very patient with me whilst I continually looked in the wrong direction or at the wrong person

Oh and much to the amusement of a passer by - he had me 'roaring'
