I’m not sure what I can say here that hasn’t been said on his other photography page (check it out).

When I first arrived with him, he went through his previous drawings so that I could see what he was planning to do with the images we produced. In a nutshell they’re stunning – his skill and knowledge when it comes to his art is phenomenal. One of the images, the hair was drawn so well it looked like it should be soft to touch.

I am SO excited to see which images he chooses to draw from our set.

When we moved onto body painting, DG painted a freehand bumblebee on me and it was amazing - even in the limited time we had available. He made sure I was comfortable, not only in the way I was laying but also ensuring I was still happy to be painted. We are DEFINITELY going to create more body paint art together – going for a full body next time.

A great photographer and artist even though its not needed to be said as you only have to look at his work and be amazed, he has become an amazing friend, always on time and keeps in contact and always full of ideas and never fails to make me feel comfortable and always makes me laugh. we have alot of regular shoots together and plently more to come, thank you

After having seen the amazing drawings David created after our first shoot, i was more than delighted when David asked to work with me again! His creativity and flair is second to none and the outcome always reflects this. In our second shoot David had a whole mood board book filled with new ideas completely different to our first shoot, and we nailed it yet again!

David is always fully prepared with an array of equipment, ready for any situation which is so great because we always get the best results! If anyone wants a really fun and creative shoot to add to their list, then David is definitely your man! I can’t wait to see the final drawings from this shoot, and I have no doubt they will be even better than the last!

I had my first shoot with David yesterday and I am a big fan of his artwork. The pre communication prior to the shoot was clear and detailed, allowing me to pack efficiently for the shoot and understand roughly what the shoot would consist of.

He is very accommodating and will take on model input and also work at a steady pace. Which would be great for less experienced models.

He has an eye for detail. And ensures the model knows how things are progressing.

There was a good space for the model to change and do makeup and David provided snacks.

I would recommend him to anyone looking to book him and also cannot wait to see the art work produced from yesterdays shoot.

I stay over at David's for shootings and he give me most beautiful picture drawing he do of me :)

I work with David 3 time now already and every time he show how good artist he is and I stay over 2 times now also in his home when we have shootings.

He such nice gentleman and host for when stay and I have own room and even able have bath when I there :) :)

His art so beautiful, I look forward so much work with David more times in 2019.

I recommend David for all to work with.

Young David visited chaise shed again, this time for 2 day bodypainting and shooting with AmberJosephMay. He actually stayed over and took advantage of my humble facilities to save driving back and forwards and shock, horror, he left in the same health he arrived in!

As ever, David was a pleasure to have here, very respectful of humble facilities, good company and IMHO a very fine artist indeed.

Always welcome back anytime and recommended to models, studio's and other photographers/artists alike.

Kaboom! what more can I say really? Another 2 day bodypainting extravaganza alongside David and it just got even better than before, even though I didn't think it could...it did!!

David IMHO is a superb artist, and it is a real pleasure to watch and learn while we work together creating images.

Once more, we worked with our chosen muse for this work, AmberJosephMay, and once again, she was the perfect canvass and a good sport having to put up with us painting and shooting for so long and our banter, most of which goes over her head!

To sum up, the work we did, imho, is just awesome and as soon as we took the first images we were blown away by just how good the result was on camera.

Will most definitely be working with David as often as finances allow in the new year and recommend others do if ever given the chance.

Well was I glad I answered David’s casting call. I have admired his art for some time. The drawings of models I know are so realistic and instantly recognisable.

I wasn’t sure he would say yes, as the girls he has drawn are so much younger than me, but he did.

Well from the off it was obvious we were going to have a relaxed productive shoot. We spent a bit of time chatting about artt and going over ideas. We got in to the shoot proper and worked out way through some sets. Then, and this is a first for me, and sets the bar high for other photographers, he made us both a delicious cooked lunch.

We resumed the shoot and worked on to get some amazing images.

My task now is to review the images taken, and to choose just one image to be turned in to a piece of art. Oh the pressure.

It was a pleasure to welcome this artist into to my humble home and shed studio yesterday. I admire his work greatly.

We worked together on a share a shoot and Dave was a great guest, very respectful of my facilities and great conversation flowed while we worked.

I met Dave yesterday where we did a share shoot with our model for the day Amber Joseph May.

We had a fantastic shoot together that is certain, and what impressed me the most is his artwork here.

I am no art expert obviously but, IMHO, his work is damned exquisite and any right minded model should be honoured if he wanted to draw them.

Superb artist and I hope we get to work together again sometime in the not to distant future.

Dave was so nice to work with and it obvious from his portfolio of pictures on here how talented he is as artist.

Had my first solo shoot with David after meeting him on a camera club night as he has soo many ideas was best to just shoot at his however time just flew by with this chatty man (I probs didnt help haha) but from the shots I did see we totally got some good shots and with so many ideas left from this shoot I'm sure there will be another some time again

Dave's such a friendly, passionate person- it was clear from the start of our shoot that he is an artist and was looking at the sets with an artists eye- picking up each detail and planning to paint the different textures. davids precomms were great, hes both very easy and fun to talk to and this extends from beyond the keyboard.

he even goes the extra mile, literally, as he drove for and hour and half to get to me.

david is fun and easy to work with too, with loads of ideas and very happy to keep retrying until things are perfect.

as well as being passionate about his photographic art david is also so obviously passionate about his drawing and painting, as with very good reason, hes talented at both. im proud to say i was the canvas for such an artist. and i am even more excited to be captured on a canvas in the future too.

id recomend david happily to anyone looking for a fun and laid back shoot with an intense body count of usable images.
