Hello, we are DCC STUDIOS, aka Drawing Cabaret Couture a London based production company specialising in fine art set design, film & photography. We are based in the creative hub of Hackney Wick London just a five minute walk away from the overground station & we are renowned for our weekly photography workshops, editorials, films and drawing classes.

DCC STUDIOS (Drawing Cabaret Couture Ltd) is Co Founded by Janet Mayer, (also Co Founder of J’adore La Vie, London’s high fashion cabaret company) a professional dancer, agency model and choreographer who has modelled in the fashion industry for over a decade, and art director Matthew Lawrence, establishing himself as a fine art oil painter in London Matthew has worked alongside Janet in the industry of film making and photography as lead set designer & art director specialising in fine art oil painted backgrounds.  

DCC Studios have previously worked with some of the leading names in art and fashion including Vogue, Elle, Grazia, Jean Paul Gaultier, Louis Vuitton x Yayoi Kusama, London Fashion Week, Paris Fashion Week, V&A, Harrods, Claridges, Selfridges, Wella Hair & Toni & Guy just to name a few...

From Fashion Campaigns to elaborate concepts for Film & Photography, together we fuse our artistic expertise to create original and inspiring life drawing classes, photography workshops and immersive art events. Our classes welcome artists, photographers and creative lovers from all fields we welcome everyone at DCC levels from total beginners to the well experienced.

ABOUT OUR PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOPS

An incredible opportunity to build your fashion portfolio at DCC Studios Hackney Wick east London. Now offering weekly photography sessions & portfolio boosters. These exciting  fashion photography workshop will feature avant-garde haute couture designs worn by a leading agency-represented model/ professional dancer. The backdrop of the shoot will be a bespoke set design created by leading contemporary artist Matthew Lawerence whose credits in set design are renowned from Jean Paul Gaultier, Louis Vuitton X Yayoi Kusama & Claridges just to name a few.

 

One photographer per hour allowing you to have plenty of shooting time with the model assisted by a friendly member of the DCC team. During this session you’ll be able to deepen your understanding of what goes into creating a fashion editorial, practice working with professional models whilst learning and having full creative freedom of your shoot.

 

COMPLIMENTARY LIGHTING EQUIPMENT provided during each workshop 

Our studio equipment includes Rotolight, kinoflows, fresnel stage lights, c stands and polyboards. All you will need is your camera so you can just turn up and start shooting.

Level: aimed at photographers of all levels.
