Well where do I start with my fine appraisal of this wonderful man ;)!! Anyone who has had the pleasure of meeting Dave will know that he is an incredibly warm hearted, genuine, down to earth guy - 100% one of the super nice guys!! Add to that a wicked (and slightly naughty ;)) sense of humour and you have the perfect mix of someone incredible to work with :)!! Myself and my partner spent a couple of days with Dave (and the beautiful Marla) shooting, chatting, shooting some more and just generally having a fantastic time. Dave is great company and someone I could chat to for hours, he is also an incredible photographer producing fantastic images time and time again and he is an impeccable host. I truly had the best couple of days, so many laughs, a whole lot of craziness and all the while being so well looked after :). Thank you so much Dave for being awesome and I'm counting down the days until our next shoot :) xx

Marla Pandora

I've been shooting with Dave several times for over a year now, so I thought it was about time I wrote him a reference! (yes... finally its here... OMG!!!) ;)

God where do I start... Dave is a wonderful man and a super talented photographer. I just adore the images we've produced from all of our shoots! We've shot so many different things in so many awesome places all over England, some beautiful locations in Scotland, some really cool places in Berlin (this includes a great restaurant where they've let us shoot topless... we love Berlin!), and some really wicked and unusual locations in Wales including a private jet! Wow... since I've known Dave, we've shot so many times and so many different stuff! :D

Dave is such a talented photographer and he doesn't give himself enough credit for it. I love the fact that there's absolutely no ego in this man, he does photography simply because he enjoys it and as long as he and the models are happy with the pictures, then he's happy :) He has a great eye in picturing an image in his mind and shoot from really cool and clever angles making each picture look different from one another, and he produces some truly fantastic images thinking 'out the box' ;) His editing is also awesome and I'm proud to display many of his work in my port. His shoots always feel so relaxed and enjoyable, so enjoyable that you end up shooting for longer than you've planned! lol I can't remember how many times we've been shooting past midnight... like the very first time we shot together for instance... Our first shoot, he had booked me with another photographer from 6pm-10pm and at 1am we were still shooting outside, in his truck (yes, he's a truck w*nker!) lol

We've shot also so many times in his home, a beautiful converted barn filled with natural light and it really is an amazing place to shoot from. There's plenty of props to use and he's decorated it so beautifully you'd think a woman had done it! haha (I genuinely thought a woman was living there when I first came to is home!). I'm not going to talk about his OCD as that's irrelevant to photography, but remember to take your shoes off and don't mix his keys up! (y) ;) Dave is the most perfect host as well, he'll make sure that his guests are always well looked after, just mind which mug you'll be getting for your tea/coffee!! We've had many duo shoots as well with other models, and sometimes other photographers too, and all of them have been so much fun and the images produced are always fantastic.

As a person, well... in one word, he's wonderful. He's laid back, chilled, kind, fun, open minded, respectful, and he has such a great sense of humour and an infectious laugh! A shoot with Dave will just leave on you a buzz wanting to shoot again, or simply wanting to shoot for longer than planned! ;)

I really feel honoured to be part of his port, I sure enjoyed every single shoot we had together. Would I recommend him? What do you think? Absolutely, 100% yes!! Book a shoot with him and I promise you won't be disappointed. You'll have a laid back shoot, you'll have fun and you'll make some cracking images and all of this in the best ever company.

I think this reference makes it his 50th! Thank you Dave for everything. This has been the most magical year meeting and working with you. Marla x

Had a fabulous shoot with Dave at his beautiful home. He was very friendly and welcoming, I felt at ease straight away - definitely what I needed as it had been a while since my last shoot.

Dave and Marla took it in turns as photographer and Marla jumped in for some duo shots too. Dave has a really good eye for interesting angles, he knows exactly what he wants to get out a pose and can direct well. We got though loads of ideas for a number of different sets and the shots I've seen are fantastic.

Would happily work with Dave again, highly recommended.

Thanks for an awesome shoot and your warm hospitality, felt really at home and can't wait for the next one!

Had my first ever shoot recently with DBNoir and enjoyed every minute of it! He was very professional and courteous, arrived on time and does not need much equipment at all.He has has a great eye for natural light and so much creative skill, that our shoot went quickly and the ideas kept on flowing. Super excited to have his images on my port! Looking forward to working with DBNoir again.

Have been lucky enough to work with the very talented DBNoir on a few occasions now, very professional, highly talented and great fun to work with! A great host with a gorgeous location which works for a huge variety of ideas! Cannot fault the great direction and really made me feel confident and at ease.

We had an afternoon shooting with KR Photogrophy and Marla Pandora/Out The Box, lots of fun, some great ideas brought to the table and some great images produced!

Highly recommended and can’t wait to work with again.

DB Noir.. well, what can I say.. he's a true delight to be around and shoot with. A true gentleman who is so down to earth, polite and respectful.. his partner, Out The Box & him came to mine on two separate occasions to shoot with me, and both times were super - fun, productive, high energy with a tonne of laughs.

As a duo, they're a creative force who work together in harmony, never one out-shooting the other.. when shooting with DB 1-2-1, he is not afraid to direct, but also happy to let me direct.. he totally understands light and shoots the most gorgeous imagery. It's a real delight to be in his portfolio.

I had my first shoot with Dave today alongside out of the box whilst staying over at the barn whilst on my tour. Dave has been so kind to let both myself and my partner stay over at the barn on several occasions when doing duo days with Marla.

Dave is very welcoming and relaxed to shoot with. He has lots of ideas and has a great passion for his photography and always respects the model. The barn which he shoots in is also ideal for any genre of shoots with its unique structure and character, along with lots of natural light.

I am so happy with the each and every set from today and it was good to finally shoot together. I will definitely shoot with him again whenever I am back on tour.

I highly recommend to all models.

2 months, two shoots and many more to follow I hope!

I adore Dave’s work, after our first shoot in December I just knew we had to shoot again. Dave has provided me with some of what I consider best of port images!

Whilst tourning the south this week Dave invited me to shoot, we covered many sets from fashion to erotica..... creativity and enthusiasm just flowed!

Superb hospitality and a relaxed shooting atmosphere led to one of if not my most enjoyable shoots to date.

Would I recommend?? HELL YES! In a heartbeat!

I genuinely can’t wait until I’m next down south to shoot again.

DBNoir (and Marla) drove to my house all the way from Brighton to shoot me for 2 hours, this was booked weeks in advance.

We had never met, which for me is unusual but as Marla is also a model herself I knew the ice would be quickly broken and we'd get on with it after coffee in my kitchen together.

They are very friendly, communicative and took turns to shoot me.

They let me do my thing, went with my flow. They showed me images halfway through each set which allowed me to make some suggestions. I am very pleased they are creative and humble enough to take them on board so in each set we went beyond every time. They appreciated my body tone and tried body scape 'erotica' for their port and I was very happy to oblige. Their tried many lenses and little tricks so it was very interesting to see so many different and surprising results per set.

2 hours flew by, yet I am convinced I saw some killer shots in those sets taken in that short amount of time.

I'd be very happy to shoot with DBNoir (and Marla) again.

Had my first shoot with Dave the other week , he was a total gentleman , very easy to work with and felt comfortable around . Full of enthusiasm and positivity . Great ideas and executed brilliantly .

Was having a moment of stopping modelling and helped me loads to not give up what I love . ThAnkyou also .

Pre-coms are great and very helpful .Easy to discuss without a problem .

I had my first shoot with Dave yesterday at Lyon Studio and I'm very pleased to say it certainly won't be my last!

Dave is a fabulous photographer, I've admired his natural light work for sometime so was keen to shoot when he contacted me.

Yesterday threw us into a studio environment and a little out of both our comfort zones and it worked splendidly! Wow! I was so impressed with what we covered and how we utilised the time and venue.

Dave is a talented photographer with a great energy about him. Courteous and friendly throughout with an abundance of enthusiasm!! I can not reccomended this gentleman highly enough and I sincerely look forward to shooting again in the future.

Was lucky enough to have the opportunity to shoot with this very talented man, who hosted at his beautiful barn, alongside SparkeyB and Marla Pandora.

Great pre-comms, great hosting and I certainly felt more than comfortable, at ease and relaxed (also makes a great cup of tea!) I thoroughly enjoyed my duo shoot with Marla Pandora and with the help of Dave and SparkeyB, we created some great images. Dave clearly has a brilliant eye and attention to detail, confidence and gives great direction, overall a genuinely lovely person.

I enjoyed working with Dave for the first time during my recent trip down South in his converted barn in Henfield, it is such a fantastic location with stunning scenery all around. Dave was happy to host me there and we we also shot with the lovely Marla Pandora doing some duo images. I cannot comment enough on the hospitality and the comfortable warm bed Dave made up for me, not to mention the gorgeous meals they both whipped up for us.

Dave was a delight to meet and work with, his skills definitely show and he was very patient, giving great direction with myself solo and myself and Marla as a duo. Dave is a fantastic photographer and a lovely person with a great sense of humour. We had such a laugh and he took tonnes of fabulous images I am so happy with.

I had such a great couple of days working with Dave and I would not hesitate to shoot with him again, the images we produced were amazing. Professional, confident, organised, creative and he has a great eye for imagery. A total gentleman and always thinking of the model first. I highly recommend Dave to all.

So Dave........well happy birthday to you!! lol

Dave booked me and my wifey Marla to shoot at the gorgeous hotel we worked at before as he wanted to shoot something special as its close to his birthday x well i think i can say we made it pretty special for him ....:)

We all had such a laugh for the afternoon and I'm pretty sure some cracking shots too.

Dave as always was brilliant in making sure we had everything we needed and looked after us really well. He had his ideas and looks he wanted to shoot and was happy for me and Marla to interpret these into how we work .

Dave's confidence with taking images has definitely grown since the last time we worked together and i can't wait to see the images x

I was over the moon he wanted to work with me again and on something really special too. Dave comes very much highly recommended by me and i wouldn't hesitate to drive the four hours back to work with him again x

I had my second shoot with David at the weekend, which was great! He is really lovely and considerate, as we were shooting on location and so made sure we had time to get warm between shooting. He is well organised, and a great photographer and just a lovely guy! Highly recommended!

Where do I start???

I've had 3 of the best days ever!!

Me and Dave have been speaking for ages about shooting and I'm so glad we finally did

As soon as I arrived he made me feel so welcome and really really looked after me the best ever!

I love where Dave lives it has so many shooting opportunities and so beautiful and peaceful

We shot Sunday evening outdoors on location it was a bit chilly but Dave always made sure me and Fiona were kept warm

We then shot Monday around Dave's fantastic place and outdoors he again made sure I was okay at all times

Tuesday was so cool a hair stylist called Sandra did a number of different hair styles for me which I loved so much and we shot around Brighton

Every shoot we did was very different

Its so lovely when someone puts so much time and effort into shoots because it really shows

Its shoots like these which make me remember how much I love doing this

I'm still buzzing from the 3 days I spent with Dave thank you for putting your time and effort into these shoots and being the perfect host you couldn't wish for a better person!

Oh and did I mention what an awesome photographer he is!

We definitely made some amazing images and so different from what I have

THANK YOU SO MUCH for everything
