It’s the first time I’ve done anything what Darren did he is very professional and to say it was the first time he had worked with uk Crystal they both worked very well together I enjoyed it and it was nice to meet Darren and would I work with Darren and Uk Crystal again yes I would think you for an enjoyable time

After having Darren on my radar for some time; I'm so pleased we finally got to work with each other- he didn't disappoint!

We covered styles from fashion to some soft fetish/erotica with a couple of different photographers. Throughout the shoot Darren demonstrated his vast experience, strength, versatility and total respect- not just to myself but to the photographer(s) and the studio owner as well.

Myself and Darren communicated really well during the shoot and in the run up to the shoot (-ALOT of changes!)!

We both came up with different suggestions as we ran through sets, willing to keep changing up the look, style and expression.

Darren has a great physique, creative mind, expressive face and a truly lovely person.

I highly recommend him to all new and experienced models and photographers and we're looking to organize more shoots already! I can't wait! Thank you for such a refreshing duo studio day! X

I got so painfully behind on my references from the tail end of 2023 into this year for many various reasons (my life being the main one!) but finally here I am with my cup of herbal tea catching up!! :)

It had been several long years since I last shot with Darren and in that time so much had happened to the both of us- you could write a book! However, it really was like catching up with a good friend and starting up where we left off back in 2018/19!!

Within minutes we were working away, in tune and not without some laughter too. ;)

It's a shame covid/ life put so many years in between us shooting but it was wonderful to work with Darren again!

Can't recommend him enough and hope to organise more shoots with him when I can!

Splash Point Photo Studio

I've shot with Darren a couple of times for commissions for a client. Pre-coms are good and he's chilled yet willing on the day. We had plenty of fun jumping around and coaxing some crazy emotions and funny faces for the images, and we managed to get a loads done in the time we had. He also bought some useful props that really helped add to the narrative of what we needed to achieve and to compliment those I'd already had.

I have now shot with Darren on several occasions now and it's always a pleasure and great images are pretty much guaranteed. A duo shoot with the wonderful Lou at the Foundry Dungeon in Burnley (amazing), we set about creating some horror themed images ready for halloween and Darren (and Lou) nailed it, although some were definitely scarier than others!!

If you haven't shot with Darren yet, I strongly recommend you do, you won't be dissapointed.

I had my first duo shoot with Darren a month ago and it was fantastic throughout!

Darren is a very experienced and skilled model. Very polite and easy to get along with and open to any ideas to try out. I thoroughly enjoyed my shoot with Darren, we worked really well together and got some amazing images.

I’d be more than happy to work with Darren again. Highly recommended!!

First time working Darren and very impressed indeed.

Working on a duo shoot with Verena at Fine and Dandee studios, Darren was professional, super creative and a dream to work with. Darren came suitcase full of amazing outfits from edgy harnesses to a classic 3 piece suite with matching brogues.

Darren is a natural in front of the camera taking on different characters with ease and worked brilliantly with Verena. We got such a diversity of images from Latex to a caged business man in the clutches of Verena. My personal favourite set was where Darren with Gasmask and Cross tried in vainly save Verena from the evil spirits that possessed her body.

Darren was brilliant, looking forward to working with Darren again, very highly recommended.

I had my very first duo shoot with Darren today. We discussed ideas and outfits before our shoot day. Darren came to my studio in Blackburn where he brought an amazing array of outfits and shoes.

Darren is polite, really easy to model along and was very happy to listen to my ideas. The time just flew by.

We got a great mixture of styles and we are already planning on modeling together again. 100% recommended :)

My second shoot with the amazing Darren S today at Studio 74 in Blackburn. It was a duo shoot with the beautiful Freya.

ES was already at the studio when we arrived, with bags full of outfits and ideas! We shot a number of (very) different sets which included erotica, fetish and latex. I don’t have a great deal of experience in photographing fetish and latex, but I am keen to develop in these areas. With Darren’s (and Freya’s) expertise in both these fields, we created some amazing images.

Darren is really easy to get on with, highly professional and an incredible, versatile model.

Thank you Darren for an amazing shoot and looking forward to the next time. I can’t recommend highly enough.

Booked Darren for a camera club studio day. There were 10 photographers, most of whom had no previous studio experience, but all of whom felt at ease working with him and really enjoyed the day and were happy with their images.

Darren was great to work with, easy going and down to earth. Communication beforehand was excellent and he brought a good range of outfits and props.

He has a great range, from suavely suited to existential angst, via strongman, steampunk and assassin.

My only regret is that we didn't have time to use his Highlander outfit and broadsword, so I'll have to book him again (and will do soon)!

Went on a camera club organised shoot with 9 others and had a fantastic time. I found Darren very open and approachable with regards to ideas.

He is a very diverse model with lots of faces he can turn his hand too.

Loved doing the hitman/assassin theme complete with props. Would highly recommend him. The only downside was we ran out of time so will have to rebook for other ideas.

My first shoot with Darren and excellent throughout. Pre-shoot comms were great and we agreed a date well in advance as well as a clear brief for the shoot. Darren kept me up to date, confirming the shoot near the time and arriving promptly - completely stress free. Darren brought a good range of outfits spot on for the brief with some excellent props. It is obvious from Darren’s portfolio that he has a great look but he is also very easy to work with - we soon relaxed into shooting - Darren can pose and take direction well so it was no surprise we generated some great images - I am looking forward to the edits. Definitely recommended and hopefully we will shoot again soon 😀

Had the pleasure of shooting with Darren and it was amazing.

Darren was already waiting for me when I arrived at the studio and was really well prepared with a variety of outfits and looks. His experience as model was evident from the start and with no set agenda, he had great ideas and suggestions which were incredible. Daren posed perfectly (with Louisemac) and definitely brought an edge the the images taking them to the next level.

An absolute pleasure to work with and I can’t recommend highly enough. Thank you Darren!

Darren was class to work with. Whilst I was in Liverpool we arranged a street / studio photo session in the Georgian Quarter.

Before the day, he was clear and easy to reach through messages - which was very reassuring.

On the day, Darren’s experience shone through, working smoothly through a range of poses that suited the moods/style.

When handed props and adjustments, he worked through the notes and was creative in his improvisation.

I would highly recommend, particularly if you are starting out as a portrait photographer.

I hope I can work with him again in the future!

He's professional, enthusiastic, punctual, looks great, is funny and easy to get on with. He was very patient with me as I was doing new things (to me) on the shoot. I booked Darren for a commission for some art nudes I was asked to shoot for a new online life drawing start up. His communication prior was strong and he showed up on time. I had another shoot with Darren recently, but this time in collaboration with the very fine model AvantArtPics.

Duo shoots are not something I do often, but Darren worked so well with AvantArtPics that many great looking images were created.

Darren is a very experienced and highly skilled model who can work convincingly in a wide variety of styles and genres. He's very friendly and easy to get on with as well as being loads of fun and always full of good ideas. I'm sure Darren will be back in my studio sometime in the not too distant future. Highly recommended!
