Shot with Creative Lens who is the Studio Owner of Kempston Studio at the very end of my SOLD OUT Studio weekend at his wonderful studio for a brief and productive shoot.

Was a pleasure to shoot with the lovely Andy, he’s so creative and is such a wizz with sets and knows how to put this together in such a flash. Andy really knows his stuff about lighting and styling with outfits together we made a great team and we created the most wonderful images together.

I love shooting with Andy! We had our second shoot at the end of my recent studio day at Kempston and got through some really great sets. He’s got a great eye for lighting and creating a whole scene, which really helps to tell a story through the images captured.

He’s such a lovely guy - I’ve felt really comfortable visiting his studio. His communication and organisation for studio days is excellent, and I can trust that I’ll be in safe hands when he’s running things.

I feel that we can bounce ideas off each other, and he’s encouraging and complimentary, which makes for a successful shoot!

Would definitely recommend and look forward to my next visit to Kempston :)

I shot with Andy for the second time at Kempston Studio, and had yet another amazing experience!

Andy is so easy to work with and his skills just guarantee a successful shoot with absolutely incredible outcomes. Everything from his communication, model direction, lighting control and creativity is just top notch. We shot boudoir and art nude themes, and despite feeling like I have explored those subject previously, I have learned so much by shooting with Andy and opened my eyes to some completely new possibilities, poses and outcomes in that realm. It was an extremely valuable and fun experience.

It's always a pleasure to come back to Kempston Studio and I wholeheartedly recommend working with Andy!

Just had my first shoot with Andy at his wonderful Kempston Studio!

Andy made me feel comfortable immediately. He’s very lovely&friendly and of course an amazing photographer with a lot of ideas and technical knowledge too.

Andy has also a great selection of clothes and accessories that we used for our shoot. We created lots of beautiful pics together and I can’t wait to post them!

I had my first shoot with Andy yesterday and it couldn’t have gone better, he kindly picked me up from the train station and we drove to his studio -Kempston studio, which is the best I’ve ever been, he literally got everything you need to get the most out of your shoot :)

Andy is a great, experienced photographer who made me feel comfortable at all times and is very professional without any doubt. He explained what lighting he was using which was very helpful and interesting and showed me the photos as we shot. Can’t recommend him enough and I already can’t wait to shoot with him again (hopefully at Kempston studio !!). Thank you so much Andy :)

I had my first two studio days last weekend at the wonderful Kempston Studio!

Andy is so lovely and made me feel so comfortable from the moment I walked through the door. He is also a super talented photographer and I’m absolutely thrilled I got the chance to shoot with him! He had some amazing ideas and a great selection for clothes and accessories for me to try!

He even got me pecan pastries which are my favourite 😉

Thank you for giving me the chance to work at Kempston studio. I had so much fun and I can't wait to return for another!

AJ the Model

Had a shoot with Andy as part of my first studio day at Kempston Studio. Andy had some great ideas and we went with a gels & jewellry shoot. a cow girl set and some bodyscaping. Andy is fantastic to work with, very friendly and knowledgeable. Andy also has a lot of technical knowledge to set up the composition and the lighting very well. The end result is an excellent set of images. Highly recommend!

I had a great first shoot with Andy whilst at his studio (Kempston)

Pre comms were great and Andy collected me from the station and made sure I had lunch, coffee and snacks throughout my studio day.

He is really easy to work with, very friendly and laid back and we had a good laugh though out the shoot. We shot some stuff with experimental lighting and the results came out great! I would happily shoot with Andy again and can definitely recommend him :)

Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

Andy came to Basford to shoot with Kate Stardoll on her sold out studio day.

Andy's pre comms were great. Andy was an integral part of helping me with the administrative side of opening Basford Hurst Cottage, so, to say I was excited to meet him is an understatement!!

Andy is polite, friendly and always has a big smile on his face!! He is clearly extremely knowledgeable about photography and the images on the back of the camera looked incredible!! - He is also an experienced snake wrangler....!! Who knew!! :P Needless to say our resident snake Noodle was in good hands!!

Andy is welcome back to Basford anytime and I really hope to see him again soon!! Highly recommended by me! :D

I had my first shoot with Andy and it was amazing. He was highly professional, welcoming and pre shoot communication was great. He has a lovely studio and even stocked sanitary products. The photos turned out amazing and edits were provided very qyickly. Really hope to shoot again.

Had an amazing time shooting with Andy at my 2 day studio shoot at his studio Kempston studios.

Andy is a lovely professional hardworking photographer and studio owner and took care of me over the 2 days I worked there.

We had a shoot at the end of my first day and he made some really beautiful sets and had cool ideas such as the fan blowing and we even tried a Marilyn monroe type pose , it was super fun.

Andy made me feel comfortable and is great to chat to and work with and I give him my highest recommendation to any models either expirienced or just starting out! He’s a star!

This was my first time working with Andy at his studio in Bedford, we worked on various ideas but my stand out favourite was the 'artist painting herself' set! He booked a slot on my recent Kempston tour and boy did we pack in a lot, Andy was chatty, laid back and had a clear idea of what he wanted to achieve. Very much looking forward to working with him again, highly recommended!

I shot with Andy again recently, while visiting Kempston and he was kind enough to pick me up from Milton Keynes Station.

He also picked me up a mountain of fruit to have for lunch, which is very much appreciated as well as oat milk for my coffee! Always a pleasure to work with and chat with.

He set up a lovely Moroccan style set, with different fabrics and props. You can tell that Andy is just naturally creative, as this isn't a set in the studio usually and he created it himself quickly which just shows how much there is to work with.

Using an old plant pot as a drinking bowl etc, we got some really lovely images as well as some portraits afterwards.

Andy has a great, laid back approach but also knows what sort of images he wants to produce and I would definitely recommend him 100%. :)

He was very helful at suggesting new ideas and different things to try which I really liked. He also was so easy to talk to and the shoot was really enjoyable. Worked with Andy again recently at my studio day at Kempston Studio and it was a bit trial and error with experimenting with lights and ideas he had in mind but all very creative with light movement using gels and even some light up fairy wings which was very cool!

Andy has a keen eye for detail, and is very respectful of the model throughout. We had a good chat throughout and some laughs too as you just can't be too serious in this type of work can you!!

The time honestly flew by and the images I've seen are just awesome!!!

Highly recommended from me, and I very much look forward to the next time we get to shoot together.

Andy is an open heart! I feel so welcome every time I go to his studio. Andy is always happy to try new ideas and is a wonderful mentor with who you can share concepts and ideas about modelling. Always happy to make you shine! (yes, it's easy to feel like a Princess I must confess). I arrived and everything was ready for me and another model, Andy bought us some clothes specially for the shoot. I'm very pleased with the results. Another lovely thought out shoot with Andy, after three days at his warm studio doing studio days we had a make up artist ( lovely girl highly recommend her too!) and with everyone's input we got some amazing shots.
