Derek made me and my husband feel very comfortable at the the studio. Shoot went really well, he's very organised, being a studio well before his time to organise and set up his gear he needed for us to work with. We created some awesome images, can't wait to see them once touched up. Highly recommended. Hope to work with Derek very soon ;-)

Talkative, talented and with great ideas for sets to do within a themed shoot. He is hospitable, chatty and willing to just 'roll with it' when things don't quite go to plan or when spontaneous ideas end up more appealing than planned ones. Would definitely recommend and work with again.

I had my first shoot with Derek. We have been at the Airplane museum. I wanted a vintage shoot and we agreed to 1940s. Derek was very proffessional, kind and caring. Our pre shoot communication was excellent and we worked great together. I felt comfortable and at ease. Highly recommend working with Derek and looking forward to another shoot next year.

I worked with Derek on a recent trip to Newcastle. Dereks pre comms were excellent and we shot in a studio for four hours. Derek had some great ideas and made a fantastic wooden prop. He was relaxed and worked hard to get the shot right, adjusting the lighting to suit what look we were going for. There were plenty of breaks and Derek made sure I was comfortable at all times. I found Derek to be professional, kind and really easy to work with and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him and I hope to shoot with him again in the future :)

Second time I've had a shoot with Derek, first I was an MUA and it was wonderful, he let me use my own ideas whilst still giving guidance and we got some amazing shots with Kasia!

Second time I was the model! I was so nervous before as I've never really done this kind of model but he made me feel so comfortable and give me confidence like never before! After working with Derek I feel amazing and confident and he is a GREAT photographer to work with
