I had a wonderful time at my first shoot with Mal. Appreciate communications were clear and absolutely perfect, Mal picked me up from the station right on time and was incredibly friendly (but professional) and accommodating. We shot multiple different styles and Mal made sure I was comfortable throughout. Lots of good chat and creative talk was a bonus. I would highly recommend Mal as a photographer and wouldn’t hesitate to work with him again!

I worked with Mal as a model this time on a Viking inspired shoot at Shapeshifter Studios. Another photographer, John Platt, provided the incredible outfits which Mal photographed beautifully too! Mal is such a chilled photographer to work with right from the get go, his guidance and direction to get the shots he wants is great and balances really well with the opportunity he gives for me to freely pose as well. As always, he is polite, kind and calm and inspired a great positive energy in the studio. I really look forward to my shoots with Mal especially when he provides the best costume accessories, best know I'll be wearing that hat on every shoot we do going forwards! ;D Highly recommend! Always is a pleasure to work with Mal. We had another great creative work at Shapeshifter studio in Warrington.

Mal sent me the designs he liked to inspire and I really loved it because was very vivid and colourful themes. We tried two themes in one shoot.

Mal was in studio before me and his attitude is always very respectful.

He was very patient while I was painting my face and gave me enough time to prepare myself for front of the camera.

It was one of the shoots which I couldn't wait to see the photos and Mal sent me the photos less than 24 hours after our work.

I'm extremely pleased with the photos. They are high quality in technique and lighting and very colourful.

Looking forward to our next creative shoot and highly recommend Mal to work with any models and studios.

I'm back again with another flawless reference for Mal! I worked as the MUA on a really exciting idea Mal had for a textured, abstract and insanely colourful shoot with the wonderful Mistyy :) he provided multiple reference pictures and a clear idea of the type of looks he wanted with a great understanding for the time it would take to achieve them. I always feel incredibly calm on Mal's shoots and they bring me so much personal satisfaction as an artist as they give me so much creative freedom! He made the model feel calm and at ease throughout and ensured we stayed topped up on refreshments, thankyou for a wonderful day, can't wait for the next one! :D

Another shoot with the wonderful Mal who always has such creative and fun ideas to shoot! We discussed a very colourful concept and was very clear on what we wanted to achieve and we did just that!

The images are absolutely amazing!

Mal even brought extra things along to help with our main look, we shot 3 unique styles in 3 hours including 2 make up changes which is fantastic :D

Mal always goes out of his way to make models feel comfortable and is always a delight to be around.

Had the best first shoot with Mal as part of my tour to Manchester. I travelled to him to Warrington and he booked shapeshifter studio for us to work in. Wee had chatted about what we would like to shoot so had a plan….ish. The shoot was really relaxed and we chatted a lot which was nice. Mal is a lovely person, so easy to get along with and work with. We got some lovely images that day and I adore the one that has already been posted. I can’t wait to work with him again and would recommend him to everyone 😌

One of the many fantastic shoots with Mal! It's always such a joy to meet him and to create some stunning images! This time Mal rented an amazing dress and wings for our shoot! This styling was absolutely amazing, and I was so thrilled to try it on! We were working in the Shapeshifter studio, and as always, it was such a warm and friendly atmosphere. Mal made tea for me, we had a lovely chat, I could be creative, and the whole shoot was very easy and fun! Mal set up the perfect lighting, and the photos he took look absolutely magical! I was so happy that Mal sent me a couple of them after our shoot and even managed to publish them in the magazine! Thank you that we managed to make this shoot despite your hard situation! Another fantastic shoot I had the pleasure of working on with Mal! This time, I created a soft glam Makeup look along with bouncy curls for a maternity shoot. Mal really gave me creative freedom with this look and this gave me chance to work with the model too to accommodate her requests. Mal is always so kind and attentive, keeping me topped up with refreshments whilst I was working away. Watching Mal shoot is so calming and seeing the models faces after looking at the back of camera always makes me so happy! Highly recommend Mal time and time again. I recently had the most amazing experience working with a Mal fora maternity shoot. He was an absolute gem from start to finish. Not only did he nail down the studio space and arrange for a fantastic makeup artist, but they also helped me pick out the perfect outfits, making sure every detail was just right.

And let me tell you about the photos - they were like something out of a dream. Each shot captured the beauty of this special time in such a stunning way.

Plus, the edits were done in a flash! I was amazed at how quickly they turned everything around.

I seriously can't sing their praises enough. This photographer is not only talented but also incredibly kind and attentive.

I had another fabulous and creative-themed shoot with Mal at the Shapeshifter studio in Warrington.

It is always a pleasure to work with this talented photographer as he is a gentleman and experienced in work.

Mal offered me to work on the Starry Night of Van Gogh's painting which was very interesting for me and I accepted straight away.

It wasn't my best day as I was sick but I tried my best and Mal patiently helped to have a great shoot.

I'm pleased with the result and looking forward to our next shoot.

Had the pleasure of shooting with Mal again recently on a creative idea of his that i was able to put to life. Pre comms were great as always. i arrived a little bit early to discuss the shoot a bit further and Mal was happy to pick me up from the station just that bit earlier.

The shoot itself was stunning however took a little bit of prep to do as it was a bodypaint shoot and Mal was very patient with getting the look just right. ive said it many times before and will continue to do so, Mal is a fantastic photographer and lovely gentleman who is very easy to to talk to. i will always enjoy shooting with him, he's creative, respectful and easy to get along with.

I had the great opportunity to work with Mal as the MUA on a Salvador Dali inspired photoshoot with the incredible arching Aimmee. I knew as soon as he'd messaged with the idea this would be an unmissable shoot. Pre-Comms was great, he provided reference photos so I had a good understanding of the makeup he wanted and he was patient throughout the makeup process, never pressuring or hurrying me along, which as a perfectionist was an absolute blessing for me! As always, thankyou for another amazing opportunity! Can't wait for the next one :D

Second shoot with mal ! And what a super creative one to :)

Mal booked me to create a fun idea featuring clock face paint done by a very talented makeup artist at shape shifter studios .

The first portion of the shoot was perfecting the makeup before going on to me warming up for some crazy body shapes .

We had a table set up for posing and some very cool melting clock props , I had such a blast working on this project, he captured some really out the ordinary but very awesome images .

Thanks for booking me before I moved far away I’m sure we will shoot again in the future for more wonderful shoots !!

Every time, Mal was in the studio before me and prepared the stuff we needed for our themed shoot.

As always it was joyful to work with Mal because he planned the theme, prepared the accessories and mood board before. So, just needed to focus on the theme to get the best result.

Had a wonderful shoot with Mal yesterday at a studio I’ve never been to. Mal is so easy going, has a friendly, yet professional demeanour and is possibly the most creative photographer I’ve ever worked with. His innovative ideas and concepts actually amazed me. His observation and attention to detail, is sublime.

So easy to get on with. Pre shoot comms were great I had no animosity prior to the shoot. Studio was quirky, warm and hosted a lot of prospects and deffo worth a revisit. An all round pleasure to work with and an absolute pleasure to be around. Can’t wait till the next shoot. X

I recently had the pleasure of shooting with Mal for the first time and OMG what a thoroughly enjoyable shoot. Pre comms and organisation were faultless. Mal is respectful, professional and easy going. I was equally impressed with Mal’s enthusiasm and approach to photography. After meeting Mal a few months back at Basford Hurst Cottage I was absolutely thrilled when he asked if I would work with him at Shapeshifter Studios!!

All pre comms with Mal were great, he gave me a clear idea of the things he wanted to shoot and gave me plenty of instructions for directions to the studio :) When I arrived I was greeted with a smile and made a cuppa!! Always a bonus!!! We had a great chat and a catch up and discussed some ideas for the sets for the afternoon.

Mal is so relaxed and easy to work with - This was our first shoot but it felt like we'd shot together many times before!! We probably chatted more than we shot ... As is always the case haha!!

Thought out the shoot Mal was very happy to show me the images we were creating and I absolutely loved what I saw!! Mal is very good with his lighting set ups giving us two very different looks for the shoot which is always appreciated!! He even indulged me when I started faffing around the material.... Something that isn't easy to do... Haha!! :P

Anyhow - Would I recommend Mal? Of course a would!!! Full of inspiration and a wicked personality!! Thank you Mal, I look forward to seeing the editing images!!
