Catarina did a fantastic job at our shoot today. First the HMU artist didn’t show and I found a former wig maker in the building who stepped in at the last minute. Part of the shoot also involved a cat who was spooked by flash and heaters. Otherwise a normal shoot :-) She was a dream to work with, very talented and really gets into character, she got the Audrey Hepburn poses perfectly and is great fun. Highly recommended.

I have just had the most amazing time shooting with beautiful Catarina when she came to stay with me for several days on the picturesque Isle of Wight! Catarina has so many qualities it is unbelievable! She looks absolutely incredible with her slender, athletic build, she is such a friendly, interesting and interested person to be with, she is a poet, she fantastically transforms from one role to another with the magical skills of an accomplished actor, she puts 110% the whole time into everything she does, she injects power and drama into an image, her makeup skills are breathtaking, and all in all she is someone you'd like to work with again and again! Catarina is without doubt a Supermodel in my eyes, and I really can't wait to work with her again! Fortunately we have already planned some future dates! 😊📽

I am always spell bound by Magical Muse Moon Child by her incredible beauty & intelligence .

From my previous The Night Porter Cult Classic , I wanted to pursue the theme further to create a grimmer darker Nightmare scenario reminiscent of the decadence despair of the diaspora . A bleaker outlook rather than the more strident stripes , Hence the dreamy vintage look imagery , harking to the death camp shameful horrors of the hateful Reich !

Moon Child as ever knew what was needed to achieve this : She took immense trouble with her makeup & I loved the wavy hair style she created . Always a joint enterprise in the photo session , & I owe it to her that she persuaded me to experiment with a grey outfit ,. Knowing I was aiming for a mystical softer focus with vintage lenses rather than the perfection of sharp modern lenses ;she was extremely patience with me trying to achieve focus . I never direct Moon Child , giving her freedom to pose & explore the set . I am in awe of the amazing Moon Child . I look forward to our next shoot together & your lively intelligent company . This was my second shoot with the fabulous Catarina. We had first met last year and I was so knocked out by her enigmatic poses and quirky outfits that I knew I had to shoot with her again. We agreed upon a shoot at my Brighton flat/studio and she didn't disappoint.

The thing about Catarina is that she has the most enthusiastic personality and she is enormous fun to be around and to work with: full of exciting ideas and able to generate expressions and poses that are completely at odds with her normal character.

I asked her to bring outfits that would satisfy a kind of punk/heroin chic vibe and she totally delivered. The time just flew by and we were able to generate loads of great images. I am certain that Catarina will become one of my regular models and I have no hesitation in recommending her especially if you want to shoot something a bit different with a very edgy feel.

Working with Moonchild was very positive and stimulating. Communication was very good and professional right from the start. Thanks to your extremely friendly and open nature, we had a very entertaining time traveling together to the shoot. The professional chemistry during the shoot was right from the start. The planned style and make-up were well implemented by Moonchild and, as expected, her performance in front of the camera was very convincing, authentic and summed up the photographer's expectations. My first shoot with Caterina, at my Birmingham studio, and it was delightful.

Pre-shoot comms were great, and we found a really creative 'sweet spot' for working together

We managed to work through 4 different themes in three hours, and Caterina switched easily between the concepts/requirements of each. She poses creatively and elegantly, and has a thoroughly professional attitude (as well as a wonderful dry sense of humour)

I'm more than happy to recommend MoonChild, and look forward to working with her again in the future.

The Night Porter, Cult Classic : Moon Child embraced the chilling decadence & degradation of the camp cabaret , sequence; A complete contrast in a B&W stripes striptease from her previous Salome theme , though strangely had echoes of the biblical story ! the incredible Moon Child is very much an actress as she plays roles , freely posing understanding the sensual horror of the plot.

The original Night Porter Poster design was a hard act to follow , but MoonChild weaved her Dark Magic to create a New seductive Vision . Personally every time I photograph her , I am enchanted by her beauty & intelligence : ideal choice for my experimental ideas & imagery . Eager for another photo session with Moon Child Soon X

Moon Child surpassed herself as SALOME for the second themed photo session ; the Virgin Princess of Judea in Ivory & silver created a sense of Sensual Magical Mystery ; an artistic soft focus at times gave the feeling of a painting. Moon Child is beautifully intelligent; an absolute dream to to photograph her. I allow her freedom to pose as she delightfully understands the Biblical story of Salome. The many times I have now photographed her , I always see a different aspect of her stunning beauty . I love to experiment , so MOON CHILD is an ideal magical choice.

I have shot Catarina many times and this time organised a duo shoot with Irida. Even with major train problems happening in London Catarina was still early.

There is always a worry when booking models that havent worked together before however both were amazing together and helped me create some stunning images. Catarina was great for all the different themes in the 6 hour shoot including getting covered in fake blood twice.

I have shot Catarina many times and given the opportunity will always think of her first for any projects.

I would reccommend Catarina to everyone.

Took advantage of the opportunity to have another shoot with Catarina at her place before she flew away for the festive season. Focused primarily on two lingerie sets and a range of poses in different rooms to make the most of the light and location. Catarina has a sublime ability to illicit a range of emotions and seductive personas in front of the camera. It's impossible not to be captivated by her and this session was but a stepping stone on a journey of discovery that will unfold with future projects. Already looking forward to what 2024 brings!

My Obsession with the Erotic Archaic Poetry of Oscar Wilde's SALOME play; a dark echo from the Song of Solomon, drew me to the Full Moon by fate or destiny to MOON CHILD as SALOME .Wilde's drama has inspired many an Artist & Film makers . I was somewhat daunted by my limited Set & props to do justice to such a theme of Love & Death . However Moon Child by the pale silvery Moon was Incredible as SALOME ; both as Virgin & Wanton . Her enchanting seductive sensuality ,as both the Princess of Judea & Daughter of Babylon made my Obsessions reality . Moon Child as a magical female Beauty was able to portray the drama of Jerusalem , dancing the Seven Veils for Herod , to secure the prized Head of Jokanaan . There are still hidden dramatic depths to explore so I aim to photograph MOON CHID again as SALOME in the New Year , hopefully there will be another FULL MOON

We tried quite a few different shots and themes and Catarina was super patient and enabled us to get some great results! Some of the shots were quite experimental for me as a new photographer and Catarina offered plenty of advice and guidance - much appreciated. Communication was very good right up until I arrived.

Having worked with Catarina a few times previously i was delighted to get the chance of working with her again this week.

With Catarina you know what your going to get, a superb fashion and portrait model with poses and expressions galore.

We shot such a variety of sets, a few of them were new to me with lighting and backdrop ideas and she excelled at them all from futuristic sci-fi to BnW fashion to gobo photography and of course stunning portraits.

I have no doubt i will be working with Catarina again in 2024 :)

I had the most fantastic shoot with the exceptional Catarina. She is versatile, exceptionally photogenic and has the ability to come up with the most impressive poses. I asked her to do a very unconventional session. She did not blink an eye. Moreover, she added hugely to the quality of the shoot with some excellent ideas and interpretations.

As a person, she is bubbly and great fun.

I can't wait to arrange a follow-up session with her because there are so many ideas we did not have time to do.

I booked a 2 hour session with Catarina at her studio day at Fine and Dandee, though having left it late to book I didn't have much planning time. Instead, I sent Catarina a selection of images from her port that I liked and we took it from there.

Catarina was a dream to shoot with. She was open to ideas and worked collaboratively on concepts to create some fantastic images. Her flowing style moving from pose to pose creates a natural feel to images and she was open to some more unusual ideas.

Finally, I should also add that Catarina is a lovely person and brings great enthusiasm and professionalism to her work.

This was one of the best shoots I have done and will definitely look to work with Catarina again.
