Shot with Bill for the first time today and I have to say it was a very pleasant first shoot, from the begining to end, I felt super relaxed and comfortable.

Bill has a very professional mannerism about him and has is very artistic and creative in his approach to photography.

I enjoyed creating some fabulous images today and hope to work with this photographer in the future.

1000% recommend to other models.

We’d kept in touch throughout the doomsday spring lockdown of 2020, eager to get out and about shooting again - especially with all the glorious weather we’d been tormented with! Finally, circumstances enabled us to plan a Covid-safe and carefully managed shoot at a fantastic location in the Dales and we rocked it once again! Mega in every way! Of course these references represent many occasions of shooting with Bill over the years as we routinely grab last minute slots and catch up between my travels. I have honestly lost count but I’d never get bored of working with this amazing gentleman! :D

We were lucky with the weather on our first of the series of shoots at this place: utter pour-downs on the way in literally engulfing the cars... But on arrival it all cleared up! Subsequent visits following the epic inspiration that was caught also blessed us with workable conditions and even the odd ray of sun too! Plenty of wind but nothing that we couldn’t handle and make use of even with clothing and hair bellowing in the wind. ;) I mean, the themes were post-apocalyptic after all! Bill snatched every moment and battled the outdoor light/environment like the soldier he’s always been when it comes to shooting: he has a pristine eye for the light and ensuring balance, levels/exposure and all that jazz it totally nailed! Even when the conditions are changing virtually by the minute... He can mix flash/controlled light with sun/ambient too and seriously makes it look a doddle. This chap knows his stuff alright. :)

From landscapes to urbexy vibes... Classic art nude to edgy. Oh we smashed the lot! One thing that HAS to be said about Bill is that he’s so darn versatile as a photographer and can switch the mood up in an image and get in the zone with one feel - and something completely different the next moment! The images were hot stuff for sure! Yep, there were several occasions on our trips to the Dales post-lockdown when a Covid-safe “virtual” high-five felt absolutely mandatory. :D Bills style is always to operate with prolific teamwork too: so that collaborative quality that you get from the shoot just adds to the buzz and uncontrollable enthusiasm that you can’t help feel when all the opportunities are before you. I just don’t even know where the time goes when we shoot anymore... We just get so stuck in that flow and before you know it: 4 hours has just melted away! But you know for sure there’s been a whole load of killer pictures and laughs had in that window. :P

Yep: t’was productive, but it was also just a really lovely day out on the multiple visits we made to the area and the enjoyable stroll along the track to the individual shooting sites. Great company, splendid chatter, on-the-moment ideas and then a chill when we’d finished with a nice cool drink that quick-thinking Bill kindly provided. :) He’s just a top-rate person in all honesty and it’s just been lovely to get these shoots in after a big break for us all with lockdown. The creative itch has been scratched haha!

Totally professional, heart of gold, sound etiquette and highly recommended in every way possible. :)

Bill applied to our eShoot casting that myself and J Black Photographic were doing during lockdown.

His pre shoot communication was fantastic, he was very clear and precise about his ideas and provided a very detailed mood board to help us better understand his theme. Any questions I had were answered quickly. Not to mention his patience when we were delayed by a day, Bill was very easy going and able to adapt quickly.

I hope one day to work with him in person!

I am routinely, terribly out of practice for leaving this epic human references when we shoot together - a lot of the time it’s done by text and last minute on the off-chance that our schedules match up! :P But I can safely say that my recommendation remains 1000% awesome after goodness knows how many zillion pictures we have made; this being the latest session. I still look back at our first shoot 200 years ago and think “WOW” not only because I still love some of the shots we did, but also how far the creativity and productivity has progressed since then! :)

Bill is a technical superstar... Over the years, we’ve thrown ourselves into all sorts of styles - with Bill carefully analysing and building the sets/lighting techniques to achieve the images. This has ranged from the traditional setups first used to create work of its early/classic style appearances, to more conventional flash to natural light when the opportunity bursts in the room. It’s been a phenomenal journey and I thoroughly enjoy seeing the notifications pop up that Bill has uploaded a new image: first because it could be from any one of the shoots we’ve done, and secondly because it reignites the buzz generated when you see it in all it’s brilliance in the back of the camera - and now the lush finished piece! Bill is an artist in so many rights from how much care, patience and attention he pays on the day to get the lighting effect he’s striving for absolutely perfect to the vision he works forward with in processing and creating the story within a picture. It’s SOOOOOO much fun when we work together because is a case of: chat a bit about a concept - compare notes/ideas and then work it on the day to see how these come off amid really bouncing off one another. That sort of priceless rapport seriously livens the highest levels of drive in you as a model. It’s hard to explain in a way and probably just makes me sound over-hysterical about doing the basics of my job, but it’s a real thing and before you realise you are actually finishing one-another’s thoughts and visions both in pre-shoot communications and during the shoot itself. I feel so blessed to have worked with Bill as often as I have and generated such a tremendous professional relationship because he is indescribably passionate about his photography and puts a colossal degree of energy into his work. That’s why photography isn’t just about pressing a button!

And of course - we ALWAYS have a good crack. :) Natter about the job-lot that is going on in the world and then some. Bill religiously grimaces over my choices of a hot drink (of which we consume plenty on every shoot we do at his place) and, despite the 1000 different varieties of herbal sludge that I drink, has not yet been convinced to try any! :’) Fussy begger! So despite the fact that our shoots consist of endless stupendous photos being created; the pace ain’t pressured. :) It’s as chilled as the sunny Yorkshire weather... And it’s usually Bill telling me to slow down as I run about excitedly doing styling/faffing with outfits. He’s an utter gentleman of the highest order. Kind, professional, respectful to the core and so easy-going! So yes, I wholeheartedly recommend him a million-times-over (or however many shoots it is that we’ve done!) I always look forward to popping back up to him, or heading out to some insane location, him coming to mine or whatever may inspire the shooty mood at any given time when our diaries match! :D

I had so much fun on my shoot with Bill! He is AWESOME!!

Bill had an idea that I was so game for. It was undeniably fun and the shots bill took are incredible! He’s very imaginative and made sure he had the props and materials to bring his idea to life. Flattering angles, lighting and the above made it very easy for me to pose for Bill. He knew what he wanted, so the shoot was very productive.

I can’t wait to shoot with Bill again, he’s such a lovely character. Friendly, fun and freakin awesome! I would definitely recommend.

First shoot with Bill, his pre-communication was great and he arrived on time. We did the shoot at my house and he brought all kinds of props and lighting.

We did a Hollywood and Noir style shoot which is something I have never tried until now.

Bill is friendly, professional and very genuine. He knows what he wants and how to achieve it :) I felt really relaxed shooting with bill and I highly recommend him :D would 100% work with him again!

I worked with Bill a week ago now after a few spontenous messages! Pre comms were professional & efficient! I felt very welcomed by Bill from the moment I arrived. We created some great results & the conversation flowed naturally. Bill is clearly talented & has a great eye for detail when it comes to lighting & poses as well as styling!

Bill was respectful, courteous and we had tea breaks at intervals. It was notable how much passion Bill has for film noir styling. Bill has a really great home studio, with loads of props to play around with.

I had my first shoot yesterday at Bill's home studio in Darlington and I had such a blast!!

Bill is very accommodating and made me feel right at home. He's such a lovely person and very easy to talk to which made the shoot just flow. We shot some Film Noir/Hollywood style and Bill knows exactly what he's doing.

I was highly impressed with the images I saw and I hope we get to work together again some point soon!!

I would highly recommend him to any model and I can't wait to see the rest of the images :)

I worked with Bill on our first film noir shoot and i can re-assure it was a success. Bill welcomed me into his lovely home studio, ensured i was fuelled up throughout the shoot with lots of tea! I am so glad Bill was one of the first few shoots I've had to kick start 2017. What a great way to start.... Superb from start to finish... Where did the time even go?!

I have seen a few of Bills images floating around over the last few months which I have to stay are beautifully stunning and he does a good job of capturing the female form tastefully from all angles introducing the femme fatale and hollywood touches to them, which for me are a winner! I adore this style and have only touched on it a little, and so this made it out to be a refreshing, unique, and highly enjoyable shoot, posing away under the hot bright lights feeling like a Hollywood star in my hats, braces and pearls.

Bill is a breath of fresh air! He's one of those characters that is so easy to get along with, and so easy to work with as well. He is super respectful, polite and friendly (and makes a super cuppa I must add!) and I could have quite easily have shot with him all night ... the ideas were flowing endlessly, and I'm absolutely well made up with how our images have turned out.

Each set is completely different, and no matter what angles, poses or idea I would throw Bills way (including a load of cards) Bill managed to find the perfect way to capture it. We made a great team, and Bill is an absolute top genius to work with, and I will certainly be working with him again.

I couldn't recommend Bill highly enough.

I had a fantastic film noir and Sin City styled shoot with Bill during my recent visit to Newcastle. He's friendly and easy to get on with right away, picked me up from the station and we were soon choosing outfits and styling. His enthusiasm for this style of work is infectious and I learned a little more about lighting, which was interesting as well!

I highly recommend him and look forward to working together again!

Had a shoot yesterday with Bill that was arranged pretty much last minute.

Bill is a genuinely lovely person with a cracking eye for detail. He took good care of me as soon as I arrived. I felt completely comfortable working with Bill and the shoot went by quickly. I have only seen two images from the shoot so far and I am so pleased with themy, can't wait to see more!

I recommend him very highly to both experienced and amateur models. He makes a great cup of tea too.
