Bern came to meet me in Whitby for a shoot on location in the local surroundings! He bought some lovely new sportswear for me to model, and wasn’t fussed about shooting any of my styling so it meant I could travel light which was great! So he wasn’t expecting lots of changes and although he was very happy to go with the flow in the day he had arrived very prepared and with a clear plan! We shot loads of different locations in half a day and I enjoyed the session immensely. The photos were taken on an iPhone for the duration of the shoot which I found a little strange at first but easily got used to. It was relaxed and easy to work with bern and he was perfectly respectful throughout and communicated his ideas effectively. Recommended

Wow, my shoot with Bern at the Hacienda studio was one to remember for good reasons! First of all, Bern is a great guy.. he is calm, particularly excellent at directing, super friendly, he came with a drawn-out plan which was wonderful and appreciated! He had even taken into consideration my personality to draw into the images :)

Bern shoots a lot for social media and other web-based content.. we shot some FB-friendly video clips and he was always so mindful to let me know when he started and stopped videoing.. it was controlled and I felt completely at ease. He also shot all the stills using his iphone and a gimbal. There was a structure to his ideas - they were natural light based and luckily we had gorgeous streams of sunlight in patterns from the windows.

We incorporated slow yoga moves into some of the stills & videos - so fun, and definitely me!

Loved every second. Bern is a mindful photographer who really connects with his subjects.. thank you for a great morning. It would be so lovely to work with you again some time :)
