I've shot so many times with Marco, he's practically family! I was happy to be asked as second model for a vintage concept most recently, and we all worked together to get some great images. Marco always works hard to get an image his models will like as well though, he loves the technical side to photography and brings various cameras to each shoot so that the images fit the concept. You will always feel safe with Marco, he is a gentleman.

Marco remains my favourite photographer and the one I credit with unlocking the dusty vault of my imagination. He's also the man I turn to with my strangest, vaguest or most 'I don't know if this will work but...' concepts. This shoot was certainly one of them, attempting to recreate some Victorian era 'French' postcards whilst putting our own spin on them. Oh and as if that wasn't enough, shoot them on your oldest camera in large format, using only natural light, please.

As well as his characteristic cast-iron dependability, a boot full of props, bits and bobs and 'just incase' items, Marco brought along a HEROIC level of patience to get the shots we wanted. Through no fault of the venue light levels were challenging for film and over a number of hours Marco came up with solutions, back up plans and ideas that saved the day.

This has to be one of the most labour intensive ways of producing images for any photographer, and I can't imagine many who would go home at the end of a long day with the energy to then start developing, but once again Marco delivered beyond any reasonable expectation.

For any models curious about film, or just wanting an absolutely lovely creative experience with a seriously kind, fun bloke who'll likely become a friend in no time at all, this is the photographer for you. (Just don't make him too busy as I'll always want a turn too 😆)

Had my first shoot with Mark today, on a motorbike theme. Pre- shoot comms were excellent and he always replies. He is very easy going and has a great sense of humour, even agreeing to pose with me. I had never sat on a big bike before, so I was a little nervous but Mark quickly re-assured me and in the end I didn't want to get off. He is very approachable and extremely respectful. I have no hesitation in recommending him. Thank you for a great shoot and I look forward to working with you again.

Put simply I wouldn't be anywhere close to a model without Marco's time and encouragement. I think we've shot together three or four times now and I don't think there'll be another who'll get the same 'first dibs' on my availability in the future.

As well as being unfailingly gentlemanly, kind, trustworthy, and the perfect blend of professional and friendly, Marco is an insanely talented photographer and lighting obsessive who'll do everything in his power to get the absolute best out of his model.

well this was only my second photographer to shoot film with me of late. It certainly brings a different vie to the shoot - that uncertainty as such - hoping you've done the best by them because of not being able to look at the back of the camera.

This was also my 2nd shoot with Marco and had been a long time in coming. moving to Colchester has distanced me from some to the photographers that were nearer Grays and therefore take more planning

Sunday was my first time working with Mark! He was friendly enthusiastic and energetic during our shoot underwater he had lots of amazing props including a double bed that went underwater!!! I loved shooting with Mark and can’t wait to work with him again, I had a wonderful day and met loads of lovely other models and photography assistants on the day. Mark and his team even provided food and soft drinks for us, quite the royal treatment:D I can’t wait to see our finished work together I will share on PP as soon as I have my finished edits. It took a while for us to set up a shoot due to circumstances out of our control and in the end we didn't even do the shoot we had originally planned but something completely different which meant that Marco was flexible and adaptable to our shooting needs. The shoot we did do also didn't go as planned due to the studio lighting but yet he was able to work with what he had and we got some good shots out of it He's a lovely guy. Very courteous and had a supply of jaffacakes which is always a huge thumbs up for me. Can't wait to do another shoot with him.

Marc had booked a full day and was an absolute professional and gentleman on Saturday.

I was out when he arrived and he phoned me to ask if there were spare bulbs for the continuous lights as one had a broken bulb (which I knew about and hadn’t yet replaced) and the other had no bulb at all (which I didn’t know about). I told him that unfortunately I didn’t have any spare bulbs and advised there were modelling lamps on the two Godox lights.

He phoned again when he finished the shoot to say he’d had to pack up early because it was getting dark and he and the model had done all they could with the lights in the studio but because HE WAS SHOOTING WITH FILM with a classic antique camera (massive respect!!) they couldn’t get any more shots. He also confirmed that he had turned all the heating off before he left.

He didn’t rant at me (as he might’ve done) and when I offered him a reduced rate he told me he had already transferred the fee across and wouldn’t be leaving a negative review. He just told me that if he had known about the lighting situation he would have brought his own lights.

He managed a difficult conversation really impressively and I am incredibly grateful for this.

I have no hesitation whatsoever recommending this gentleman - a real professional.

PS I’ve ordered more lights and a couple of spares so it will take something of a disaster for this situation to crop up again…!

One of the few photographers I still work with, Mark always makes his models feel safe. Underwater shoots are complex and extremely hard work for everyone involved, but Mark does everything he can to make the day pleasant for his models and so that they come away with an image. Highly recommended to anyone looking to expand their portfolio and add some underwater images.

Had my first underwater shoot ever with Mark and it was such a great experience, I can’t wait to do it all over again!

It was a pleasure modelling for Mark. I was made to feel so comfortable and safe at all times. Before we started shooting I was well briefed on what to expect from the shoot. Mark gave me some really good techniques on how to control my breathing and as the day went on I felt more and more confident in the water thanks to Mark and the team. Ever the professional, I was sent all the images and the final edits within days of the shoot. I would highly recommend working with Mark and I’m looking forward to our next shoot.

Shared a shoot with Marco for the second time today . Marco battled the traffic on his Sunday to offer me his time and advice ,and to assist me in a studio shoot .Marco is an absolute gentleman , he has a great rapport with the models and all around him , he is generous with his time and knowledge and patience .
