with ease i can say James is an amazing photographer who makes you feel comfortable and can give you direction when needed. Professional and a great sense of humor. Have received images very quickly and as well as enjoying the shoot feel like i have gained a friend. can't wait to shoot with him again. would highly recommend him for any style shoot

I can highly recommend James! We have done a couple of shoots and they have been fantastic. James is really friendly and a pleasure to work with. We sat and chatted about ideas and got cracking with the shoot. I loved the images I received from both shoots. Top guy..super easy to chat to and makes a good cuppa!

I've worked with James a number of times now and each shoot has been fun and easy going, but with fantastic results.

Pre shoot communication is always perfect, and images have always been received within great time post shoot.

Whether shooting fashion, lingerie or nude I have always felt completely comfortable and at ease, and the results always have me wanting to work with James again.

I highly recommend bearded cynic (he also makes a pretty decent cuppa)

I suppose since 'I love James" isn't a sufficient enough reference to leave, I guess I best pad it out a little. Before we'd even shot together I think it's safe to say we got on like a house on fire, he made me a cup of tea (which frankly is top marks on a shoot regardless in my eyes) James was both extremely professional and friendly at the same time, we shot mostly lingerie in his flat in Newcastle and he made me feel very comfortable and welcome. We got a lot of shots done in the space of a few hours and upon my return home he already sent me over a taster shot which was, as I'd expected, absolutely fantastic! I would more than happily shoot with James again and I do hope we do in the future, he was a true gentleman and what I now feel to be a great new friend. Highly recommended by me!

I really enjoyed the shoot yesterday with bearded cynic photography and considering he's only recently started working with models he's already full with great ideas and potential.

He was really friendly and easy to talk to and kept things organised, was able to give direction well when needed.

I've already seen one of the unedited images from yesterday and it looks great :)

Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Shot with BC a while back after talking about it for almost a year! We finally got round to a quick shoot in my home one evening - although a little pushed for time we had a laugh and got some great images - Hope to work with him again, hes a cool guy and I definatley recommend. :)
