I met Alex whilst she was in London. Unfortunately I could not proceed with the booking due to an external event out of my control. She was so understanding, and we had a wonderful chat before she had to leave. I was so sorry not to be able to take her photograph, but I would definitely recommend her to others, and I hope to be able to book her again next time she is in London.

Excellent model and dancer: experienced, professional and easy to work with!

I had a fantastic shoot with Alex while she was in London: we only had a couple of hours in the studio, but we managed to get a variety of looks, try different ideas and props and she was able to place her body into some fabulous shapes.

Pre-comms were excellent and she was super friendly and a star in front of the camera, making every pose seem effortless, even when she was working hard to make sure it was perfect. We ended up having a very productive shoot.

It was my first time working with Balletina on her tour to the UK from NY, and I hope it's not the last.

Working with her was absolutely effortless. She was full of energy and enthusiasm. We worked digitally and with instant cameras, so we had a range of results—all of them fabulous! The fact that she is a professional dancer means that her muscles are perfectly toned, and she has a strong theatrical presence in her poses. Her poses are very elegant, but she can bring out a ton of raw, explosive power for specific images: she's so powerful that, in the most athletic shots, she was jumping much higher than the background. I had to ask her to jump lower! She worked with me, looking at the BOC images to advise me on what poses worked better. As this was only my second time photographing a dancer, it was very helpful.

I enjoyed working and talking with her. She’s a lovely person and was very relaxed throughout the shoot—a photographer’s dream.
