The Damsel and the Dragon Foot

This was one of those frustrating images, where I'd had an image in my head, but was struggling with how best to achieve it. As soon as I saw the tree root, it looked just like a dragon's foot and leg. However, the wall partially hidden was a bit of a pain and the flat lighting didn't make it easy to get the vision from my head. I've spent quite a few months with this image in my head, then a couple of nights ago, I managed to get it out of my head into the actual image. There is probably more I could do, but it is now on the way to being the vision I had.
