An image from our India Adventure back in early September.

I was recently accused of being 'culturally inappropriate' by someone on twitter for this series of images...

The day this was taken I was wearing a blue saree like a scarf during the shoot when a lovely Indian lady came up to me totally randomly and took the Saree I was using off me and proceeded to dress me. She showed me how to wear a saree, gave me her pin to hold it in place and put a bindi on my forehead. She told me red would look better on me (so we tried the red one too)

It was a great experience- her elderly mother was on the balcony above us cheering her on and telling her to dress me too! A moment I will cherish. She told me I looked beautiful and it was lovely to see me celebrating her culture (as I did ask if it was ok for me to be wearing a Saree- she seemed shocked I asked!)
