Wow, far too long since I shot with Angel! Her preparation and styling are second to none, and we really were able to start creating beautiful pictures from the first click, initially some gorgeous duo shots with Antonia Jay and then various solo sets in the nooks and crannies of the Old Rectory. Angel embraces every idea with 100% enthusiasm and continues to stun me with her beautiful posing. As truly professional and committed to her art as anyone you will find, but also such a down-to-earth and friendly person to spend time with.

Recommended? Oh yes! And we really must get together again sooner next time :-)

An Eye for Beauty

I have just had my 7th shoot with Angel at The Old Rectory group event a couple of days ago. It was great to have another encounter because it was some while since the last. Angel's comms before were excellent and she arrived with the costumes I suggested. We were relying almost entirely on natural light but she was very patient while we sorted camera settings to produce the best. It was a good variety of images but I think my favourites were in window reveals where the light was really sweet. It was great to chat and to catch up while were were moving from one scenario to the next. I can thoroughly recommend Angel as a professional but personable model; and it is true that her increased experience since we last shot was visible demonstrated. We also have some duo images with Antonia Jay as the two models often work together, and these were an added bonus. I hope it won't be so long before our next shoot!

I had a remote shoot with Antonia J with Angel assisting and it went so well. Angel is a dream to work with and I have multiple times. She knows both the modeling side and obviously the photography side too. She knows what will look good and how to achieve it and works with me to get what I want. I can't wait to shoot with her again.

Just had another great shoot with Angel at her studio day at Art Asylum Reloaded in Weymouth.

As always, Angel was absolutely brilliant. Very professional and well organised her communications before the shoot were exemplary, checking what I wanted for the shoot and bringing exactly the outfits I'd asked for. She was also happy modelling the retro themed outfits I brought along.

Angel is very talented and creative with plenty of ideas for the shoot. Even at the end of a long studio day she was full of energy, working hard to make sure I got the shots I was looking for.

Very friendly and a genuine delight to work with Angel really is the perfect model.

Definitely very highly recommended and I certainly hope to work with her again soon.

My second shoot with Angel, the first one being a training day together with John Black. This morning’s shoot was all you could wish for. Angel brought some great outfits and was more than willing to mix and match with some I’d provided, and immediately got into the themes I was asking for. Pure bliss! Came away with some amazing shots specifically for compositing - can’t wait to get into them!

Fifth shoot with Angel this year and every time it shows why I can always rely on her for my ideas. She's an absolute Angel (Pun intended), she always welcomes ideas outside of her usual range and nails them every single time.

She always comes well prepared and mixes things up with what I provide as well, she poses so well naturally and with instruction as well if I have specific ideas in mind as well.

The conversations we have always flow so naturally and we could probably end up chatting for hours on end if we didn't want to also get round to shooting some stuff as well.

Thanks again Angel for some amazing shoots and you can be sure I'll be shooting with her in 2025 as well.

I had my second shoot with Angel this morning. The first having been 12 months ago when I did a days tuition with Angel and John at their home in Taunton. That event sparked my interest with portraiture and it was such a pleasure to invite Angel to my home for another session.

Angel is a totally organised and very professional person. Our pre-shoot communications were clear and she turned up exactly on time with both the wardrobe items we had discussed and a few additional items which she thought (quite correctly) would prove useful.

We spent, what to me, was a delightful and productive four hours. She poses easily and readily with little need for direction. She has a clear eye for angles and lighting helping me with what will work and what will improve my results.

I must add she is a lovely conversationalist wanting to know what was going on with my life and remarkably remembering a lot of our discussions from a year ago. I definitely will be working with Angel again as over the session she gently persuaded me to join her Sicilian group shoot next June! That is a treat to anticipate.

Angel is one of those wonderful people I've been long wanting to work with and finally got the chance at a SummersAbroad event. She was one of the primary reasons for booking the weekend and she didn't disappoint. It's always great working with similar creative minds who understand what works. Obviously she's a fantastic model, but it's the energy and personality that make her such a treat to work with. Wish we had more time, but we created some brilliant images and definitely looking forward to another opportunity to work with her again. With all the lovely references already on here it's hard to make mine stand out, but sometimes you just know you're working with a brilliant professional who is easy to work with, collaborates wonderfully and will guarantee you some excellent imagery - Until next time :) x

Another shoot with Angel but this time water based, and in the evening.

We had the opportunity to use a hot tub and gels, we produced many cracking images and tried the obligatory hair flick, but with Angels amazing long hair it was flicking well up out of the camera shot to start with. Angel is easy to work with, chatty and poses with ease.

I have come away with some great shots again.

What a wonderful experience it was working with Angel for a second time! We had such an enjoyable Pre-Raphaelite shoot last year that we liked the idea of creating something new.

The concept this time had a Victorian gothic vibe. We went to a derelict Devon church with perfect grey and misty weather. Angel managed to harness her mane of hair into a Victorian bun, which she later unleashed for a different look, revealing waves that she had added in.

Angel embraced the concept with such enthusiasm and commitment that she became the Victorian character, conveying strong emotions physically and expressively. Bravo Angel!

It was such a pleasure spending three hours with Angel. She is warm, friendly, enthusiastic and great company. She undoubtedly demonstrated her acting skills on this shoot as well as her considerable modelling talents. I couldn't be more pleased with the images we created.

Do work with Angel if you can because she is a fabulous model. I have no hesitation in recommending her to all photographers.

Worked with Angel on a pair of remote location shoots last week, a few hours in the morning and a few in the afternoon, to deal with battery limitations. On-location in the woods, with a Trash the Dress theme.

As usual, precomms were excellent, she was well-prepared, did her usual fabulous job 'on-set', in her various roles: as a model, with posing, expressions, etc; and as makeup and stylist, from clean through to damaged and distressed.

Give her an idea, and she'll make it come to life! Very highly recommended.

As always a pleasure working with Angel, she's an absolute delight to work with and we always chat away about anything and everything in between shots.

She was a real trooper with the weather being colder than expected, flawlessly posing without any direction and so patient as my curiosity got the better of me while shooting in a place I had never been before.

My first shoot with Angel, on her Studio day at R6 in Kettering. Angel was warm and friendly, with lots of energy and enthusiasm right from the start. Pre-shoot, she sent me lots of great information about wardrobe option and directions to the studio. She was super helpful to assist with hints and tips about shooting latex, and fully explained the complex logistics involved in latex as a wardrobe choice. She was very patient with me while I faffed about with lighting! As someone who has her own studio - she has great insight to offer when it comes to lighting, and her input on the tethered shots was incredibly helpful and massively improved the final results in-camera, saving me a bunch of editing time!

I am really keen to work with Angel again - and if you haven't already shot with her, you should!

I've known Angel for a few years but haven't had the opportunity to work with her on a one to one basis before, but managed to finally get a couple of hours with her on her model day at R6 studio in Kettering.

Angel proved to be a very patient, enthusiastic and talented model. From giving her a few half baked ideas on what I had in mind she got straight into giving me some amazing poses.

I had the pleasure working with Angel for the second time today. Our first shoot was over 2 years ago so this one was well overdue. Angel is a outstanding model and a truly lovely person, easy to get along with and an absolute delight to work with. Beautiful, professional, hard working, collaborative and creative. A very talented, knowledgeable, and accomplished young lady and a fabulous model. She poses freely without the need for direction, flowing gracefully from one pose to the next, We worked through a number of sets and outfit changes and captured some wonderful images. A thoroughly enjoyable and productive shoot and Angel was an absolute joy to work with, I look forward to working with her again soon.

R6 Photography Studio

Was great to have Angel at the studio for a sold out studio day.

She arrived on time and was ready to go, even after 3 hours in the car! She had made contact with everyone booked and brought any clothing requested. During the day Angel worked to ensure everyone got great images and achieved their planned ideas.

Angel is very friendly and easy to get on with. It was a pleasure having her in the studio and hope to have her back again very soon!

Once again another awesome shoot with Angel, this time I made the long drive from my place to Angel's home studio and it was totally worth the trip! Angel had worked hard to style the studio for the Halloween theme we had chosen to work with.

I really enjoy working with Angel, she is such a talented model and works hard to make sure you come away with superb images and on top of that she's super friendly and makes a mean cup of tea. I would definitely recommend working with this fantastic model.

Well, shoot no X (where I think it might be 5 or 6 or 7) and yet again a really lovely shoot with Angel. I was a little worried about the shoot due to personal reasons, but Angel (and John) were very welcoming and understanding.

This one was Halloween themed generally, and I caused a little more confusion than usual by asking the mini studio to be moved inside a bit more if possible (due to light issues). This was catered for without any gnashing of teeth or soto-voce grumbles or anything... :)

As always, Angel is a delight to work with, offering constructive ideas about how to get around niggles, and knowing exactly the right way to hit her poses. The vampire teeth were nothing like as much of a niggle as I feared they might be, and overall we had a really lovely time.
