Hi, I’m Andy a freelance commercial photographer based in South Yorkshire, but covering the north of England.

What do I do?

Although my work is predominantly B2B, working for a diverse range of clients, I also undertake customer work across different genres.

As such, the portfolio on here represents just a small fraction of my work.

Commercial photography

My commercial work involves anything that a business might need to look great and involves PR/editorial, headshots, product shots & architectural. I have several year’s experience in shooting for estate agents, including high street outlets and independent agents marketing luxury properties.

I also hold CAA permissions for commercial drone work, and undertake aerial photography, for commercial agents, developers, house builders etc. Aerial photography can give a dramatically different perspective to commercial photography too.

Customer photography

My consumer photography is developing and includes family portraits as well as work with pets (especially dogs). I don’t photograph weddings very often, but perhaps strangely, wouldn’t turn down covering a funeral.

Studio

I have a small, dedicated studio in Dinnington, close to the M1 motorway, with plenty of free parking and easy access.

The studio is available for hire to amateur and commercial photographers, models and videographers alike at attractive rates.

The studio is equipped with several studio flash heads & modifiers and a choice of backgrounds. I don’t have pre built “sets” as I believe that these stifle creativity and from a commercial point of view anything that might be needed can always be built.

For the majority of my shoots on here I’d prefer to work TFP at the moment. I'm particularly interested in working with new (or even established) models who want to obtain some professional quality, studio images (typically 20 or so, of their choice), for their portfolio in return for expanding my own portfolio. 

I am also potentially interested in collaborating with models to host studio days and training sessions on a profit share basis.

For shoots where I pay a model, this will be on a commercial basis and I would supply a small number of images to the model solely to use in their own portfolio.

For shoots where a model pays me, then naturally all agreed images would be supplied to the model for non re sale use.

I hold a valid basic DBS check.
