Ninth shoot with Ana-Ray.

It would be superfluous to repeat all the good things that have already been said about her, so here's a different angle... Ana's driver and helper is her husband, PJ. I don't usually have anyone else on site during a shoot, but if all helpers were like PJ I'd change my policy at once. He really is a tremendous help with all sorts of things - it's as if Ana and I have a joint assistant - and he's a really nice guy. So if any of you are like me and have a 'no chaperone/assistant' policy, do try to be flexible with Ana and PJ. He's worth his weight in gold!

So, what do you do with a model who produces some amazing fashion and editorial images?

Turn her into the psychotic Silent Hill nurse, cover her in muck and blood and put a sledge hammer in her hands...of course.

Absolute pleasure working with this woman - great company and works so hard to get the shot.

Recommended to any photographer. I'm shooting with her again in October, with good reason.

Miss Versatile

After 2 and a half years of saying we need too shoot we finally got the opportunity on a concept that is out of ana's comfort zone,too be honest you would never have thought it,ana is such a versatile model,her posing was second to none,walking in heels dragging a sledge hammer was a sight to have seen.Quite scary how easy ana made it look :),thank you so much for asking me to join in on this shoot my lovely had a blast :)

100% recommend and we will shoot again very soon :) x

Why do I keep on booking her? Well... there's her strong fashion look, slim figure, creativity, versatility, enthusiasm, energy, styling skills, reliability, excellent communications, lovely unpretentious personality and great sense of humour... How's that for starters?

Eighth shoot already being discussed. 'Nuff said. :)

Well...that was a bit good.

After two years of chatting, on and off, I finally got to shoot with Ana, and it was well worth the wait.

Strong, elegant, communicative, needs little direction but listens and responds well to instructions, highly personable, good fun.

Will most certainly be looking for a second shoot

Finally got to work with Ana last week on an avant garde makeup shoot with Robin French photography. A fantastic model to work with who needs very little direction with poses. She brought some fantastic outfits and shoes and we got some fantastic images too! :) I hope all that glitter wasn't too tough to wash off!! :) highly recomended and would love to work with Ana again in the future xx :)

Had my first shoot with Ana-Ray yesterday.... what a star! After lots of messages back and forth talking locations and ideas, we decided to head for a coastal spot in Wales. It was freezing cold and windy as hell, but Ana was a real trooper, she braved the elements for a couple of hours and I'm sure we've got some great images from the day.

Ana was enthusiastic, fun and easy to get along with... was an absolute pleasure working with her. Another star for the day was her fella PJ, lovely bloke and really helpful carrying kit and holding lights etc... couldn't have got through the day without the extra pair of hands!

Massive thanks for a great shoot Ana and looking forward to the next time! Just make sure to bring me cake!!! :)

Fourth shoot with Ana-Ray. Yessssssssssssss!

You've seen all her other references so it would be superfluous for me to repeat that she has a great look (those cheekbones!!!), an interesting wardrobe and a great eye for styling, and that she's enthusiastic, versatile, creative and is great fun to work with. No. It's all been said before so there's no need for me to say that again. :)

Had the pleasure to work with Ana-Ray wondering around an abandoned cave in Wales. She poses effortlessly and has a wonderful intensity in her look. Got a lot of beautiful images and cant wait to share them.

spent a wonderful day at Blaise Castle in Bristol with Ana-Ray and Ana's other half PJ recently - Ana and me had bounced ideas back and forth for a while and we both wanted something with a bit of a dark edge to it. I think we succeeded :)

I was greeted in the car park by a fully made up Ana - it was quite a sight I must confess (a gorgeous sight of course!! ;) )

PJ had come along to do the real hard graft and carry stuff around for us - what a great guy - cheers PJ! :)

we punctuated the day chatting and having beverages at the local cafe - all around it was a beautiful day in all respects.

Ana was an absolute trooper and so great to work with. her poses were so good, very fluid and beautiful. and her outfits - wow!!! she was so well prepared!!!

honestly I cannot recommend her enough!!

Had an absolute blast with Ana, and she was so comfortable to work with. We had a great shoot and everything I required was nailed first time.She's focused when she needs to be but also has great sense of humour, which is needed for my type of work. I would recommend Ana 100% and would urge photographers to take time out and work with her. She needed no direction and really made my day a pleasure.

I worked with the lovely Ana back in February on a Gothic styled shoot.

She was very professional and gave me free reign with make-up. The images produced are at a very high standard and one in particular has had 3 FPI's which we are very proud of!!

She's an absolute star, so versatile and genuine beauty.

Hope to work together again.

Ana-Ray seems to have a dark side that is tightly aligned to my own which is why she keeps coming back :) She's a joy to work with and is always keen to work toward achieving those dark visions which reside in my head. Always sending me MU ideas for shoots she shows a level of interest and commitment that is very refreshing indeed!! I've nothing but good things to say about Ana-Ray and she is most definitely someone to work with!

Did an impromptu 'shoot' with Ana-Ray (and Matt of Revdesigncouk) today with a view to improving my 'off-camera flash' techniques and came away enlightened. Ana-Ray is a superbly versatile model, who is prepared to put herself out to allow the photographer to get the shot they want. She is patient, friendly and has a good sense of humour, which makes spending time her on a 'shoot' very easy. A cold, windy evening where it would have been easy to say "Let's give it a miss!", but Ana-Ray just got on with the job, despite being blown over more than once! Highly recommended!
