This was my second shoot with Dan, the first being around two years ago (!!!)

Dan is extremely fun to work with and such a talented photographer. It was a super super fun shoot and I love how much of an all round kind, creative and enthusiastic person Dan is! I hope we get to work together again soon!

I thought the idea was very interesting and I was looking forward to the day of the shoot. I found Dan to be professional, respectful and I enjoyed speaking about hobbies and interests on the way to the shoot. I recommend working with him if you get a chance to!

I had a great experience working with Dan at the Picture Palace in Chichester. Dan is professional, prompt, and easy to work with. The location was absolutely stunning and perfect for our vintage Hollywood theme.

Dan has loads of creative ideas and knew exactly what he wanted from the shoot which was amazing. He gave clear instructions and showed me the images in between sets. Dan created a beautiful mood board filled with ideas to help inspire us for the shoot.

The photos on the back of the camera looked fabulous and I can’t wait to see the results.

Florence Day

I had my first shoot with Dan today and it was amazing!

The shoot was arranged easily and the moodboard was very helpful. I knew exactly what to expect and I was able to understand the goal of the shoot. It was great to have something to reference and take inspiration from.

Meeting Dan felt like meeting an old friend. I was immediately comfortable with him and we got along really well. He was kind enough to give me a lift to and from the train station, which was very appreciated.

The shoot itself was great fun. It really did feel like I was working with a friend. The atmosphere was really chill and lighthearted.

The backdrop and lighting were all set up ready to go, and the set up was successful. Dan was great at adapting the lighting and settings, and achieving a mixture of old Hollywood portraits and also some more experimental shots.

We managed to do some ‘behind the scenes’ too which was really appreciated

I’m really excited to see how the photos turn out. I’m sure they will be amazing! We got through so many different looks, and Dan also provided some great props including a mirror which we used for some really cool angles and experimental compositions.

I am so happy with this shoot and wouldn’t hesitate to shoot with him again

Had a great shoot with Dan yesterday. Comms beforehand were easy and clear :) he turned up with lots of ideas and a costume and was happy to direct me while also giving me space to work out my own variety of poses. I enjoyed the concept of the shoot, especially climbing trees to find more exciting angles. Shame about the mosquitoes but what can you do 😅

Dan was professional and friendly and made sure I was comfortable and safe during the shoot, especially when my poses took me into bramble territory or up the bough of a fallen tree. I thought the costume was really cool and I look forward to seeing the developed photographs!

Worked with Dan recently at The Cottage Studio and it was great fun, a lovely guy to work with and very respectful of the models comfort.

We worked through various different sets, and I’m very excited to see the images from the day as I could see Dan has a real eye for detail and knows what he wants to achieve which I always find great to work with people like that. He also has a great personality so it was easy for us to both get on from the start!

I had a great time, would highly recommend and really hope we get another chance to work together again soon! :D

Shot for the first time with Dan yesterday and he was lovely to work with. He was on time, prepared and pre-shoot coms had been clear so we had a good idea of what we would be doing on the day. Dan gave good direction and was easy to work with, we chatted through the shoot and kept a light and creative air the whole time. He is lovely to work with and recommend him for other models! Thanks

Had my first shoot with Dan yesterday night. Dan is quite easy to talk to, friendly and quite good at breaking the ice. Even having our shoot at the very end of the day, we were able to pull out some amazing ideas. The shoot was really relaxed with him, never made me feel even slightly uncomfortable and he come with the necessary equipment, ready to shoot immediately. He was extremely understanding and cheerful and when I ended up caught up with feeling ill on the day he was more than happy to change the shoot at a more convenient timing! Basically, ideal not to take advantage of him, because except being an amazing photographer, he is also an extremely good person, making it a pleasure to work with. Definitely would highly recommend!

Dan was kind enough to pick me up and drive us both to location where we both shared ideas and put together an awesome outfit to shoot in. He was happy to listen to any ideas I had and was happy to give directions when needed. Dan is very relaxed and so easy to talk to about absolutely anything! I had my first shoot with Dan, after he contacted me about doing a projector shoot using an old projector and stencils to make an interesting background. Dan greeted me on arrival and was super friendly! The studio we went to was warm, professional and safe. Dan made me feel comfortable from the get go and was easy to get on with. Dan has creative and awesome ideas! He is good at directing and communicated thoroughly throughout the shoot. I can’t wait to see the results and would happily work with Dan again! Dan and I arranged a shoot together after he reached out to me on PP. He was friendly and professional throughout the pre-comms stage as well as during the shoot. He was also very encouraging so that I felt confident and comortable working with him!

I found Dan on Instagram and messaged him right away, not long after he anwsered and we got the ball rolling! He was more then happy to listen to any ideas, give his own and send references of what he wanted to create. He was more then happy to pay my rates and met in whatever location that was comfortable for me to get to. He was very chatty which is always great to have on a shoot and he already had some spots he wanted to shoot. Over all the experience was brilliant and I would recommend Dan to anyone, I look forward to working with him in the future.

This was my first shoot with Dan. He contacted me with a style and location in mind that I agreed would work well and gave helpful and friendly communications beforehand.

During the shoot, Dan was really clear about what kind of poses and shots he was after so shooting was very straightforward and went smoothly.

He's also a nice, polite, friendly guy and very easy to get on with so I'd happily recommend him to other models.

I'm really interested to see how the images come out as the use of film sounds like they'll have a lovely quality to them! :)

Had a lovely first shoot with Dan today!

Dan was very patient whilst I kept him updated trying to find the best possible location for what he was after. He was super easy to talk to, flexible, and managed to find the location despite my questionable navigation instructions! He gave an idea of the sort of outfits / styling he was after beforehand, making it easier for me to know what clothing to bring. He showed up on time all ready to go, and was confident in giving instructions for specific locations, poses and angles, in order to get the shots that he wanted, whilst at times also being happy for me to pose freely. He was easy to chat to and we got along straight away.

Would definitely recommend working with Dan, and I would work with him again. I’ve never been shot on film before, so I’m definitely intrigued fo see the final images!

Dan is kind, respctful and great fun to shoot with. Our couple of hours shooting absolutely flew by.

Pre-comms were great and he knew exactly what he wanted.

It was great to shoot with a film photographer and I can't wait to see the images!! :)
